Shampoo -L'Oreal - EverCreme Cleansing Conditioner

What can I say, but wow! I got this for my fine, colored (red) hair. Red fades so quickly, and I needed something gentle. This certainly fits the bill! It does smell strongly like warm vanilla, and the consistency is indeed like an extra thick conditioner. I left a silver dollar dollop of this in my hair for about 20 minutes (because I had the extra time). This left my hair feeling soft, and get this, tangles were easy to brush through. No typical hair breaking off, and no struggling. The brush glided through, the color still looks fresh, and my hair still smells of warm vanilla. I really kinda bought it thinking that it was a gimmick. This is the first product that really seems to live up to its claims in a very long time. The only cons are the price for the amount that you get. Also the stupid pump, because my pump doesn't even work. I have to resort to taking the top off and squeezing some out of the bottle.

Gels/Soaps -St. Ives - Triple Butters Intensely Hydrating Body Wash, Creamy Coconut
rated 5 of 5

This is far too heavy for me to use as a bodywash. I use it as a moisturizing, cheap, shaving gel. It smells like an amazing coconut tanning lotion, and it's sensitive enough to handle being around the ladybits without irritation. I absolutely love this!

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Colossal Waterproof
rated 5 of 5

Whilst I hate the regular formula with a passion. The waterproof is AMAZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZING! This is not a wet mascara, so it doesn't weigh your eyelashes down. I don't get panda eyes with this at all. It applies through the lashes well. This version DOESN'T have that musty, gross, faux-rose-scent!

It doesn't flake, it is VERY waterproof. It won't come off without an oil-based makeup remover. I get full and voluminous lashes that stay curled. The brush is quite large and bushy, and it does take a bit of time to get used to. Once you do, this will be your best friend. If you love waterproof mascaras of course!

Liquid -Maybelline - Super Stay Makeup

EDIT: Bumping up a lippie. This foundation feels SO much better than Revlon Colorstay. I love this foundation, but it isn't without its flaws. While it is smooth, and creamy to apply. The coverage itself, is a dream. It feels wonderfully natural on the skin. It does transfer terribly onto your clothing, or whatever manages to touch it. There is no pump, so it isn't sterile or easy to get the proper amount out of the bottle.

Also, I have light blonde hair, and somehow it manages to turn my hairline orange! So, I am on the fence if I would buy this again. I wish it felt like this foundation, and zero transfer like Revlon Colorstay. Sorry to say, this is a mixed review.

Polishes -Orly - Cotton Candy
rated 5 of 5

Love, love, love this color! This is a perfect medium coral-pink creme from the 2010, Sweet Spring II Collection. I am super-pale and usually shy from coral, as it doesn't flatter my skintone. This color is just blue-based enough to actually wearable. It almost teeters slightly on the fluorescent side as well. This would actually be a great universal color to compliment ALL skintones. Cool or warm, light to very dark. I think it would look great on everyone. :)

This is a perfect beige-blonde gel. I am gutted that MAC made this as a L.E. product. Works well with my light blonde hair. I don't understand why this couldn't have been an permanent product. :(

This is a perfect light, cool-pink that almost airs on a lavender creme. It's from the 2010, Sweet Spring II Collection.

This would actually be best on fair, cool complexions. It can look chalky on darker/warmer skintones.

Polishes -Sinful - Mint Apple
rated 5 of 5
fetishdolly 3/18/2010 12:33:00 PM

This is more of a light blue-based green than a true mint green. This leans almost to an aqua-color. The finish has a lovely glass-flecked shimmer in this polish.

I cannot believe I can say that Sinful Colors are the best polishes out of high and low end. I base this on wearability, financially, durability. The brush is a wonderful soft nylon that doesn't drag like OPI brushes.

My polish was VERY opaque, and I only needed two coats. It dried within normal polish time. This wears surprisingly better than all the different brands that I have. OPI used to have this durability, but to me the new ones now, the polish chips within hours. This polish, with a basecoat, and topcoat lasts through a solid week of hard wear and tear.

The secret to being able to use these. I thin them out with a polish thinner that Sally Beauty carries. I do this with ALL of the new polishes I get, so if they were sitting too long in the display. This makes them work like they were just manufactured. This may be why some people have issues with them not drying properly. By doing that, at only a $1.99 at Walgreen's, they're awesome!

Polishes -Rimmel - Lasting Finish Pro - Steel Grey
rated 5 of 5
fetishdolly 3/18/2010 12:26:00 PM

Ok, whoever named this is clearly crazy. This not being a steel color, nor a grey. I would call this a taupe-putty color with a hint of dusty plum. It is a flat cream, which is in the color family of S.H. CInC, OPI YDKJ, or OPI Metro Chic. Normally this runs $4.99, but I got it for around a dollar on sale. The brush is somewhat funky, it is a tapered widebrush. Which does get most of your nail with one swipe, but it's a tad hard to get polish close to the cuticle.

It applied well with a base/topcoat, but I am unsure of how long this lasts. As I am testing it out as we speak. For a buck, even if it chipped within a few hours, it would still be worth the price! Lovely chic color, that is in style now. Great for an office job, or a night out. I love it!

This polish I used, Secret Admirer, was a black with a fine silver microshimmer. This polish is so sparkly in the light, that it almost looks metallic.

My polish was VERY opaque, and I only needed two coats. It dried within normal polish time. This wears surprisingly better than all the different brands that I have. Self Tanners -Ulta - Tinted Self Tanning Gel in Medium Deep
rated 1 of 5
fetishdolly 2/3/2010 5:49:00 PM

Horrid crap. This never dries at all, and leaves an oily/sticky feeling on the skin. When washed off, I noticed I get horrific cycstic acne on my neck and face. There is no real color pay-off to make this worth buying. Epic fail Ulta, epic fail.

Self Tanners -Banana Boat - Summer Color Sunless Lotion Deep Dark
rated 5 of 5
fetishdolly 2/3/2010 3:26:00 PM

This stuff is hardcore! Perfect dark color after first application. It dries fast, feels just like a lotion, and seems to be fairly streak-free. I love how this is far cheaper than my L'oreal Sublime bronze.

Use sparingly around elbows and fingers to avoid an orangey-tinge. Other than that, this is my new tanning HG!
