This is a nude with a touch of peach/pink to me, very matte and maybe a bit waxy. Very scary looking in the tube! On my lips it turns into a lovely neutral and topped with your favorite gloss (mine-Bonne Bell Lip Lite in Cappucino) it comes alive. No bad taste or smell and lasts about what you would expect for a normal lipstick. I love the black tube too. I will have this as a staple in my lipstick collection.
This gloss was free....I normally would not give a color like this a second look as I am a pale redhead with blue-green eyes,NC15. I tried it and was pleasantly surprised at how it complements my face! It does not turn the dreaded fuschia either. Not too sticky, goes on smoothly,no discernable taste/smell,and wears off at the normal pace. Lots of shine and color payoff too. I would buy this again as it's a nice change from my normal peachy/brown/tan lip products.
I got a sample of this from Sephora,so I cannot comment on price or packaging. I've used it for 3 days, and although it's a nice body lotion, the scent is so horrible I cannot get past it. It smells MUSTY. And why is it called brown sugar? It's Lemon. And not a very good one at that.
