Lip Liners -NYX - Slim Lip Pencil

NYX for is the the go-to brand for lipliners. There are so many colours and the price is just unbeatable. I love MAC, but I often found that when I bought a MAC lipstick, we could seldomly find a matching lipliner. Especially if you like pink you are spoilt for choice with these lipliners. 5 Lippies from me.

Lip Liners -NYX - Slim Lip Pencil - Hot Pink 845

This is such as cool lipliner for underneath your pink lipsticks, such as MAC Impassionate! To be honest, I even like to wear in on its own, as it a bit easier to handle at work (eating, drinking) than a full-on lipstick. I find it quite soft to apply and it doesn't dry out my lips.

Eye Shadow -NYX - Jumbo Eye Pencil in Oyster

I bought this as a dupe for Urban Decays Morphine 24/7 shadow pencil. It was meant to be used as a base for violet eye shadow for a summer look. Unfortunately it wasn't fit for purpose and did NOT serve as a good base. Just after 2 hours or so, the makeup was runny and started to fade.

Lipstick -MAC - Cremesheen Creme Cup
felicialazaar 11/13/2012 10:34:00 AM
At the beginning I thought that I don't like this lipsticks and that it is too 'grey' and not colourful enough for me and made me looked washed out. This is how I made it work, so its one of my favourite and most often used lipsticks: when I apply any eyeshadow that is not beige/brown/subtle (such as greys, blues, greens) Creme Cup becomes a really nice light pink and complements the stronger eyes perfectly without being too nude.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Paint - All

I used this product as a primer all over the eye - the little tube lasted me almost two years and there are still some applications left. I applies with a slight shine. I really like this and the only reason I wouldnt buy it again is that I prefer paint pot as a primer, as it is matte and therefore a bit more versatile (as I use a lot of matte eyeshadows)

Eye Shadow -MAC - Handwritten Matte2
felicialazaar 11/13/2012 10:20:00 AM
The colour is beautiful, but I found this shadow very difficult to work with. It applies very dark at first, but when I started to blend it seems to fade and it needs frequent re-dipping into the pan. At the same time, parts of the shadow didn't blend at all and left some darker, uneven patches on the eye. I have given up. I also have Plumage (which is supposed to be as stubborn to blend) and no problems with that colour at all.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Plumage - Matte e/s
felicialazaar 11/13/2012 10:13:00 AM
This is such a beautiful colour. Although it looks so dark (almost black) in the pan, but it applies as a nice deep teal on the eye. I was actually surprised, how well blendable it was, as I have read other reviews stating it was a pain to blend. How I make it work is by literally just dipping a small brush into it and then slowly building it into the outer V. It looks nice in the crease and outer V on top of a neutral. But I have also been using it in the crease when I use Steamy (a metallic blue-green) to add depth. I yet have to try to pair it with blue (with Deep Truth).

Liquid -Clinique - Anti Blemish Solutions Liquid Make Up

For me this is the best foundation for acne-prone skin and best for everyday use. I have been using it since it launched in 2010 and am very happy. It doesn't make my skin break out like other foundations did in the past. The finish is matte. There might be more beautiful finishes out there, but for me this the only one that feels healthy to use everyday without fear of provoking any pimples. The coverage is medium and buildable, for spots I use concealer in addition, as I don't want to look to cakey. To control any oil I simply switch the moisturizer worn underneath (in summer a mattifying one, in winter I need something more heavy) and use a primer. I would say though that the foundation stays on all day without the primer, but the primer helps to control any oil.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Satin Taupe
felicialazaar 11/13/2012 5:31:00 AM
I love this eyeshadow, not only because it is so different on anyone, which makes it unique, but also because it can be used for both day and evening looks. One my light NW skin, Satin Taupe has a purple sheen, so I like to use it together with Sketch in the crease for a daytime look, which totally brings out the green in my eyes yet still looking 'office friendly' (not too colorful). For an evening look, it can be used all over the lid with Typographic (or Carbon) in the outer V and a dot of Amber Lights in the middle of the lower lid for a golden Pop.
