Like many reviewers mentioned, i don't get why it is designed the way it is, but i don't really mind as it's a minor issue. I use my powder brush and tap the powder onto my brush. That way i can control the amount that i put on my face. That aside, I really find the powder to be the most natural looking and it does what it's supposed to do so i don't have any complaints. It's affordable, doesn't cause break outs and is perfectly easy to take off. I have no problems with this. The color matched perfectly for my skin tone. I'm using pure radiance, i'm an NC30. This is definitely my everyday powder. Staying power is 3 hours for my oily face. i blot it out and use milk of magnesia (see my other review) and touch up. simple as that. :)

People with persistent oily face, go to the drugstore now and get this. This thing saved my life! I wouldn't go one day without using it. Literally HG status. I got this 2 weeks ago after reading the positive reviews on this product and after i figured out the best way to use this on my face, it works like a charm and i have had no problem with oily face ever since. I even gave some to my bf to use it since he has oily face too. What i did was i transferred some of it (from the huge ass bottle so i don't overshoot the amount that comes out) into a spray bottle and spritz 3 times on my face avoiding the hairline and massage it into the face. It ABSORBS ALL MY OIL and leaves me with a matte face for hours (until i decide to do it all over again). After i spray it on, i put my make up on (mineral powder) and leave it until its time to touch up. I spritz it on my face even with make up on to keep my face matte all day. i'm loving this stuff i cannot stress more.

Lipstick -NYX - Lipstick- #529 Thalia

i have this and i use it the most out of the 4 colours i own which are all wonderful (indian pink, power, tea rose) I use tea rose for a more 'snow white' feel when i feel like wearing bold lips lol. otherwise, thalia's pretty much my HG unless i find a better color. I am an N30 for reference, i find NYX super duper cheap, and i don't mind re-applying after every meal, but they dry my lips so much, so i have to make sure i exfoliate and moisturize my lips ALOT. Plus, it lasts a looooong time trust me.

Powder -Guerlain - Parure SPF 20 Powder Foundation

I really love the gold exterior, and it feels so luxurious when i bring this makeup around. I love the fact that it's refillable so i can get any drugstore brand refills and still get to use the awesome gold packaging. I love how fine the powder feels on my skin and this is definitely quality powder. It makes my face glow! It has long staying power too, i can see it by the end of the day. And to add on, SPF 20!? However, this is expensive. So i use it occasionally. I REALLY wanted this to be my HG but the only reason why i am giving this 4 lippies is because it doesn't control my oilies for long. I have to re-apply in 2 hours and i live in a warm climate, prone to sweating and oily face, and i hate re applying cos it only serves to make my face look like a mask. I'm using it while it lasts, but i am probably better off going back to studio fix. EDIT: i'm putting this 5 lippies because i found out that the reason it doesn't seem to control my oilies is because i am putting too little of this powder on my face. I use a sponge with this, and it works perfectly. I use my mineral powder now for everyday use and i'll go back to this when i need a heavier coverage.
