This is my favourite Essie nail polish by far! It's such a beautiful, unique colour. It's a medium blue with a tinge of lilac - simply lovely. It is incredibly long-lasting - better than any other polish in my collection!
Cleansers -La Roche Posay - Effaclar Purifying Gel Cleanser

Like this product a lot, and will definitely be trying more from the same line! PROS: - I went to see a dermatologist about my acne and he recommended this cleanser. I think that alone speaks volumes about this product! - I have tried loads of different cleansers. This one has a really nice lather, almost creamy. - I love the fragrance (though I wouldn't say it's subtle.) - My skin feels clean afterwards but not dry. - Hasn't given me breakouts. CONS: - The second ingredient is Sodium Laureth Sulfate, which according to acne.org is bad for acne-prone skin like mine. - Hasn't "transformed" my skin or anything.
I saw a lot of people online wearing this colour and was excited to try it for myself. I was pretty disappointed. First of all, it was very streaky and hard to apply. Secondly, the colour did not suit my skin tone at all. It just looked extremely unnatural on my nails! I'm so sad!
Lip Treatments -Maybelline - Baby Lips in Cherry Me

I really like this! It's a nice red-coloured tinted lip balm that adds moisture to the lips. The colour is very natural and doesn't scream lipstick/lipgloss. You can totally build it up too - I was surprised at how red it got after a few quick coats! It's perfect for on the go. I have to say, though, that this lip balm wouldn't do much for extremely chapped lips. It does help dry lips, but when my lips were chapped I switched to a more heavy duty healing balm.
I really like this foundation! PROS: - The shade Gobi was a perfect match. - The coverage is light/medium. (I like a light base. ) - Looks natural, sinks into the skin, doesn't feel heavy. - As the day wears on, you notice the 'glow'. - It's not "dewy". CONS: - Expensive. - Need to buy a pump separately. - When it comes to dry patches, it is a bit a bit more forgiving than some foundations but it isn't perfect.
I probably would never have bought this mascara because the price is ridiculous - however, I was lucky enough to receive a sample of it for my birthday from Sephora. It's a pretty good mascara. Defines the lashes and lengthens them without clumping. I like the wand - it's plastic (which some don't like) but when I apply it I feel like it really gets to the root of the lashes. Sometimes when I apply it though, my lashes look a little too spidery (very long and separated). I asked my boyfriend if he thought my lashes looked any better/different and he said they looked "not real", funnily enough. Don't think I'd re-purchase because there are just as great mascaras at the drugstore. :)
Applying this mascara totally brightens up my face. It just takes a few swipes of the wand through my lashes to have an amazing effect . I can't really comment on length, but it gives crazy volume! It never flakes, and once dry, it doesn't smudge either. It is definitely as good as my favourite mascara (L'Oreal Voluminous) - it might even be better! I can't decide! Overall, great mascara.
The claim that it makes your shadows "brighter" seems like bullshit to me. It does, however, ensure that my shadow doesn't crease all day and definitely helps them last longer. A bit pricey, but for my eyelids, this product is an absolute necessity! Definitely worth the money.
I do like this foundation. It has great coverage, lasts all day, and has a semi-matte finish (on my skin, anyway). It looks especially amazing when applied with the Beauty Blender. But I have a light-neutral complexion so although the warm range is what I use, it is slightly too orangey for me in some lighting. The foundation also can feel heavy on the skin and I hate that feeling. The bottle, which has no pump, is also a pain in the ass. Overall, it's not a bad product, I just wouldn't buy it again.
This was the first palette I bought. I wish I'd bought the original Naked palette, as it has more warm colours, but this one ain't so bad. It's very versatile, because it does have both warm and cool colours, as well as a matte black and matte highlight colour which comes in handy for someone who doesn't like too much shimmer. The shades Chopper and YDK have flecks of glitter in them and whenever I'm wearing these shades I'll always notice sparkles on my face and it drives me nuts. That's my only complaint. It's a good palette! The packaging is amazing, and the shadows are long-lasting (provided I use an eyelid primer).
I bought this after hearing it was a dupe for the MAC eyebrow pencil - and it definitely is! In fact, I even like like this one better! My MAC pencil (in LIngering) cracked off a few times but this one never has. It glides on smooth and the colour is perfect for my brows. So yeah, love it! The brush on the opposite end of the pencil, however, is useless. The bristles are too close together.
This is a great colour - a low maintenance red. I like the glaze formulation because it really glides on easily and is very pigmented. Depending on the lighting, sometimes this lipstick looks dark red, browny red, or berry red. Very versatile!
Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast Fusion water resistant

The effect of this mascara was minimal. It wasn't clumpy, and didn't flake, but it did nothing much for my lashes.
This is a great pressed power. It's transparent so it leaves no pigment, and it is also very light on the skin. I can't really say it was great value, because I feel it didn't last me as long as it should have for the price I paid. But still, I love it and would re-purchase. :)
This is a great NARS blush shade because even though it is highly pigmented, it is light enough that it's not as easy to overdo as it is with their other shades. It's a very flattering peachy-pink colour, with subtle shimmer. I have had it for almost a year now, and it still looks untouched!
