Lip Treatments -Etude - Miss Tangerine Sweet Shower Lips

I have this in #5 Miss Sunny Tangerine. I first noticed the quality of the packaging. It's quite nice, has a bit of heft, and has beautiful detailing, which include a shiny metallic orange container. The product is twistable both up and down. Product: It's either a moist lipstick or a very pigmented lip balm. You can build up the color as you like. One swipe will give an orange translucent sheen, while you can add as many layers if you want the color more opaque. The color is a true orange with slight, slight hints of coral. I'm an NC25-30 and I love wearing this with a sheer wash of eyeshadow for everyday. It's a beautiful color for the summer. Best thing about it is that unlike some other products in the Miss Tangerine line, it doesn't make me look like I have hepatitis, or like I've just finished up a jug of Tang (Which the Soda Tint does).

Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Japanese Cherry Blossom body splash

This is my go-to scent for everyday. It may seem a little musky and overpowering once sprayed, but I always make sure to only spray twice, and the scent fades to a nice floral, woodsy scent. I have the candle version, but haven't tried that one yet. Honestly, the scent is very typical, nothing stands out in particular. But I don't really mind, as long as it's pleasant, I'll like it.

Liquid -Shiseido - The Makeup Dual Balancing Foundation SPF 17
rated 5 of 5

I've almost used up my second bottle of this foundation. My current HG foundation, coverage is a little dewy on me. Depending on the amount used, this can be a medium-heavy coverage foundation. I love how it gives me a flawless-looking porcelain face without looking like I have foundation on. My shade is in O20, and it's the closest match I have among all the foundations I've tried so far. What I love most about this foundation is that despite its lovely medium coverage, it's quite moisturizing, but doesn't slip and slide on my face. I have tried Rimmel Match Perfection that was very similar to this, but that kind of slipped and slided on my face this season (summer) Downside: Quite expensive at Php2000+ ($50), but one bottle should last you 6-8 months. And there's no pump, I wish it came with one!

Lipstick -MAC - Lustre in Jubilee
rated 4 of 5

I'm not particularly fond of Lustre finish lipsticks from MAC, but after trying on Jubilee from the counter, I liked how it was a shiny kind of nude. Jubilee on its own looks great under good lighting, but otherwise it kind of looked dead on me (I'm an NC25-30). I was afraid that I got the wrong shade, (I wanted Blankety, but the store didn't have it) because it was quite sheer, the pigmentation seemed more to me like a gloss. BUT! I found a way to make it work perfectly with my lips. I fill in my lips first with NYX Natural lipliner and top it off with Jubilee, and it looks amazing. Mostly brown/peach with a hint of gold. And because it's sheer the mauve from the lipliner comes through, making it a perfect dark nude for wearing to serious occasions like interviews and meetings. So glad I didn't give up on this one :) I thought I'd only like Amplified and Stain finishes from MAC :) I won't buy it again right away though, I'll have to try Blankety and Creme Cup first.

Lip Gloss -NYX - dolly pink
rated 4 of 5

I love this shade of pink. It stands out quite well from the usual corals and nude peachy pinks out there. I use this gloss on top of anything, actually I can even wear it on its own since it's so pigmented. Dolly Pink is a magenta/purple-ish pink that is probably the brighter lipgloss form of MAC's Craving. Applied liberally, it's a bold statement, but a sheer wash of it gives me a hint of bright color, in case I want to make my lips look like they have some gloss on :) Texture is okay, a little sticky, but I've tried sticker glosses. I even like the bubblegum-y scent, makes it fun to put on Overall, highly recommended bright pink gloss. If you're tired of nude-y pink glosses, I think this is a nice pick-me-up. I'm a fair-medium, but this will go well with other skintones :)
