I bought this macara on the recommendation of a coworker. I needed a new one and my daughter's baptism was coming up so I wanted to look great. Unfortunately this mascara didn't do anything spectacular and it didn't work any better than a drugstore mascara for me. My lashes definitely didn't look any fuller or longer, just more defined than if they were bare. I will stick to my beloved MUFE Smoky Lash or Diorshow from now on.

Lip Treatments -Korres - Lip Butter - Wild Rose

I bought this the other day on a whim at Sephora. It's great. It has great pigmentation for a lip balm and smells so good. I just wish it wasn't in a tub because I hate putting my finger in it. A tube would have been more sanitary. I came home and ordered the set of 3 from the Korres site while they had the discount on them. I can't wait to try the other colors.

Eye Shadow -TheBalm - Shady Lady Eyeshadow Palette

I got this palette today from Sephora. I love it. The color selection is great and the textures are really nice also. You can get a lot of nice looks out of this for day or evening, subtle or dramatic. I've read reviews saying that the darker liner colors were a little harder to work with but I've had no problems at all. The size of the pans are very generous. This definitely a great buy.

Liquid -Illamasqua - Rich Liquid foundation

I have been having a lot of trouble finding a foundation. I have dry skin and huge pores. It's really hard to find a formula that accommodates my dry skin with a full coverage to hide my pores. I ordered this and figured I'd probably end up returning because I find that products don't usually live up to their hype. Boy was I wrong! This stuff is amazing. It has a light vanilla scent that is divine and it goes on like a dream. I've been using my MAC 187 but will be trying the beautyblender with it soon. It's a very thick consistency but doesn't feel heavy on my face at all and doesn't sink into my pores either. I always put on MAC strobe lotion before my primer to illuminate my dry skin and the first time I applied this I forgot to put on primer before applying it because I was so excited to try it. I couldn't even tell I hadn't used a primer. It went on smooth and easy and stayed put all day, even in this hot and super humid NYC summer. I love the packaging. As a previous reviewer said it's a clear tube that you squeeze it out of which means you're able to see how much is left AND also you'll be able to get out every last drop. This stuff is amazing. It really is my HG that I never thought I'd find. I will DEFINITELY be buying this again.

Mascara -Maybelline - Lash Stiletto

I really thought that this would be my HG when I bought it. Thankfully it was on sale BOGO and I got Colossal along with it because this mascara just did nothing for me. It made my lashes clumpy, added no length and DEFINITELY didn't add volume.

Polishes -China Glaze - Pink Underground

I didn't check swatches before buying this color, which was silly on my part. I was expecting a might lighter, pastel pink. When my package came and I saw it had a blue undertone to it I wasn't sure I would like it. However, once applied it's not bad. I like it, but don't love it. In certain light it's very reminiscent of the generic funeral home pink polish.
