Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous Million Lashes - waterproof

To start off, I have short, stick straight eyelashes and I wear contact lenses. I did not really wear much mascara due to the fact that my lashes were basically non-existent and it was pointless to apply it everyday. This mascara changed that for me and I've been using this mascara for about four months now. This mascara really does hold curl but it will not hold curl if your eyes water a lot and if your eyelash curling technique is not good. Make sure you have a good eyelash curler, because I accidentally bent my eyelash curler (giving it a wonky shape that didn't hold the curl in my lashes very well) and I use to think that this mascara the problem until I bought a new eyelash curler. This mascara volumizes without clumping at all, and really separates my lashes but it does clump quite a bit on my lower lashes. I suppose it is because my lower lashes are veryyy short and thin, so if you have reallllyyyyy thin and short lashes this may not be for you. It could be that my technique for applying to the lower lashes is wrong though. I noticed that it doesn't clump at all when this mascara reaches 3 months of being opened. After the mascara dries, DO NOT apply any more coats of mascara unless you want spider lashes. This mascara also lengthens a bit but not by that much, but its okay because with the kind of lashes I have I do not expect falsies. This never flakes. This does smudge if you apply it to your lower lashes (I have oily skin), a quick fix for that is to just apply powder under your eyes and it won't smudge :) I highly recommend this mascara to anyone with short, stick straight eyelashes.
I have oily skin, and I use this product as a spot treatment for my acne. I put this on after i have washed my face and moisturize. For me personally, this product gave me a lot more blackheads in places that i'd never get before. I tend to use it on my forehead, and i've noticed that though my acne reduced a bit but there's a bunch of blackheads forming around the area that I would apply this to! I think I will apply this right after i wash my face as opposed to after moisturizing, maybe it will make a difference.
For people with fine hair, I strongly recommend that you apply conditioner before you step into the shower. After, just shampoo your hair like normal and your hair will be soft and tangle free. If you shampoo and than condition your hair, you will end up with hair feeling dry, and weighed down. I only gave this conditioner a 3 because it does not do anything amazing. (I've been using this conditioner for about 2 months now) It is just your typical conditioner, and I do not believe is made for fine hair. It's good for the price though, so I do believe you should give it a try.
Very good coverage, makes my skin look flawless. and for those of you that want a more natural finish apply with a wet sponge for sheer coverage. I don't really have acne but I know some products can break me out, and this foundation doesn't cause breakouts. It also doesn't become orange over time. My only concern is that this product should have a pump, and that it lasts around 8 hours not 16 hours :P (My skin is really oily i guess) I highly recommend this otherwise.

My hair is very damaged from styling and perming, so it looks dry and dead. It has a been about 2 months since I've used this product and my hair is so much shinier, softer and healthier. You can really tell the difference. I've gotten compliments on my hair's condition too! Another plus is that my hair smells amazing after. Some people are complaining about how after a while of using it, it doesn't make hair shiny anymore, or that is makes hair appear dull- that's because of product build up!!! You MUST use a clarifying shampoo to wash it out completely so you can start new again or it will buildup and make your hair look dull. If you don't have a clarifying shampoo use baking soda, it's extremely effective at removing product buildup, you don't need to buy a clarifying shampoo. Just use a tablespoon of baking soda to wash your hair, and then use your regular shampoo. Another tip: Check your local salons and see if they have sales, i got 250ml of this product on a sidewalk sale for only $14 :D Also, for Canadians, some Winners may carry this product at a cheaper price.
Well my skin occasionally has a few big whiteheads or pimples, so I use this cleanser. For me, I think it works pretty well, because I don't get whiteheads anymore, and the claim is that it prevents acne or something like that, so I think it did live up to its claim. It may not work well on some people because they don't use it properly or their acne is more severe. The proper way of using it is working it into a lather on your hands and than massaging that onto your face, it could be too drying if you don't lather it enough. You should also moisturize as it can be drying. It's also highly effective at removing makeup. Update: I have used this for over 2 years now and i noticed that it sort of altered my skin color, my face color is rather beige with pink undertones and my body is a natural tan color with yellow undertones. that is rather unusual.

I think this does the job as a matte bronzer and it's very inexpensive- I got it for $3.99 at Shoppers! Also, it doesn't break me out and it smells great C: Other than that there's nothing else extra about this. It is what it is, a matte bronzer.
Concealers -Maybelline - Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Concealer

First of all, I was in a rush to buy a concealer, so I grabbed this one. I use this concealer for my under eyes, and the coverage isn't excellent. It reduces my dark circles, but it does not dramatically reduce my dark circles. It dries up and makes my under eyes look powdery, so I had to use primer underneath. It is still somewhat use-able to me, so i am not totally disappointed. Overall: Don't buy it.
I love this stuff! It gave my skin a smooth and matte finish! And I have oily skin! The oil is actually gone after :D It doesn't clog pores too! Its a really good base.
Mascara -Estee Lauder - MagnaScopic Maximum Volume Mascara

This mascara clumps wayy to much! It does add volume but theres way too much clumping and that looks bad :| I got this as a gift so i'm glad, i didn't waste money on it.
Ok so I got this in golden beige and it was a perfect match (only when i'm tan though) and I feel it actually does a decent job at concealing. But the staying power isn't very great. The color range isn't great because once i'm not tan anymore none of the colors match my skin. It is very effective at treating pimples though, I put them on as soon as i feel one coming and it greatly reduces the pimple. This is how I keep my skin flawless, so if you bought it already but the shade doesn't match , you can still use it to effectively treat pimples. It's also a great primer for eyeshadow, as it makes them stand out more :P Overall, it's an alright product I would've given it a 3.5 but they don't have many shade choices so i can't really use it.
