I got a sample of this when i bought a perfume from LM. I must admit, I was never very interested in trying it since I don't care for the glowy look. So I ended up putting it away and almost forgetting about it. However, one day when my skin looked terribly dull I decided to try applying this under my matte foundation and hope that a little glow would show through just where I wanted it. This product really took me by surprise! It looked AMAZING and I ended up not wanting to put any foundation over it! Though beeing sheer it does a really good job making my skin look even and fresh. :) Now I can't wait to get the full size tube and have beautiful skin all summer long! :D I have fair scandinavian skin and use the lightest shade, bare radiance.

Liquid -MAC - Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15

Yes! Finally a foundation that does everything I'm looking for in base makeup. I first picked this one up when I was in Japan and the foundation that I brought with me just melted away in the humid september heat. I went to a department store and a super cute girl at the mac counter helped me pick this one out. I've always had a bottle at home since then. The first thing I fell in love with was the color, I've never had such a perfect match before (NC15, how I adore you). Then it was the coverage. Just a nice matte surface that hides what you want to make less obvious but never cakey or smudgey. And it stays put all day, hot, cold, humid, dry, doesn't matter. It never fails me! I've used it for a long time now and never has it broken me out or made my skin dry. It fits me like a glove. Sometimes I like to mix it with a small amount of Mac's strobe cream for a dewy complexion. Makes you look good for a night on the town :)

Powder -Laura Mercier - Mineral Powder SPF 15

When it comes to base makeup I'm usually a macoholic, and mineral makeup has never worked well for me. But after a few magazine reviews and the idea of makeup that is clean, has a natural sun protection AND anti-aging properties, I could resist no longer! I'm happy to say that I like the product alot. It gives good coverage and a nice subtle glow that, amazingly enough, doesn't turn oily at the end of the day. The packaging is great, and the powder won't dust around. It's very pigmented and I only have to use a small amount to get the result I'm after (you really need a good kabuki brush to apply it though, as it doesn't work as well with regular brushes). The color is stable, it doesn't turn orange or anything of the sort. It's basically good stuff, so if you're looking for a mineral powder foundation you should definitely consider it!

Eye Makeup Remover -Biotherm - Biocils Eye Makeup Remover Gel

The people who made this product are pure evil! It's not effective and you have to work with it a long time to get your eye makeup off. It's horribly expensive! You can find far better products at the drug store, so save some money girls! Also the gel formula easily sneaks into my eyes and though I do my best to rinse it out with water, next day I wake up looking like Quasimodo. Never again!

Moisturizers -MAC - Strobe Cream

I use the strobe cream when my skin looks dull and tired because it really brightens the skin and gives me that perfect healthy glow. I also like to mix it with my foundation before a night out for a nice dewy effect. And it never turns oily or messy on me like so many other brightening product. Thumbs up!
