I love this. Loooooove it. It's a great physical sunscreen; it's so creamy it goes on smooth and spreads easily, absorbs quickly and isn't greasy, leaves a nice non matte finish, and since it's tinted there's no white cast. It's oil free and it also doesn't aggravate my sensitive, acne prone skin. The only, and I mean only, bad thing imo....is the color of the tint. It's pink...while I'm yellow toned. It's subtle but enough to change the color of my face and neck to the rest of my body. Very frustrating. Other wise it's the best. I'm going to finish up the tube I have, but I'm going to shop around for another physical sunscreen that would keep my face from looking too pink or white. Recommend for those with pink undertones.
Sunscreen -Neutrogena - Pure & Free Liquid Daily Sunblock, SPF 50

After my skin started to react to chemical sunscreens, I decided to give this a try. It was everything I was looking for. Fast absorbing, oil free, non greasy, and it's a physical sunscreen. Plus, it's cheap and easily found at drugstores. Downside is, the white cast is ridiculous. It wouldn't be so bad on fair skin but I'm a medium light, yellow toned gal. In addition, the fluid was quite gritty like sand. My skin was way to sensitive to keep rubbing that sucker in until it absorbed. It was getting to be a bit painful. It just wasn't working. Plus it is quite a matte finish....but that could be also taken as a good thing. Since I use the sunscreen first then moisturizer, it wasn't too big of a problem for me. I would recommend this since it's actually a pretty good physical sunscreen despite its drawbacks. Not for those with dark or too sensitive skin though.
Sunscreen -Neutrogena - Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 100+ with Helioplex

I used to love everything about this sunscreen. Not greasy, only a slight white cast, absorbs quickly (unless too much is used), and I could get it at the drugstore. Unfortunately, as I got older my skin got more sensitive and I developed allergies. After using this for almost a year, my skin started to react to it. I would be fine inside but once I got out in the sun, after about 10 minutes my skin would be burning and itching. Sadly, I stopped using this and switched to physical sunscreens. I would not recommend for those with very sensitive skins or those prone to allergic reactions. Should be okay for acne prone skin though, since I've never had any problems...then again, everyone's skin is different.
Since my face is darker than my chest, I chose to get this in Nc25. While it doesn't match exactly, it's the closest any foundation I've tried has come to matching my color. That reason, and the fact that I hate to touch up my makeup is the reason I purchased this foundation. Its finish is very matte...which I suppose it good for oily skin like mine, but I feel that matte finishes make one look older and dull. So I like to mix some Lancome Eclat Miracle in with the foundation and it gives more of a satin or tiny bit of a dewy finish. Its medium coverage that lasts about 6-8 hours before it starts to shift around. Although that could be because I have oily skin, or I mixed in the eclat miracle, or I only used a light dusting of powder, or because I refuse to use a setting spray. -_- Who knows. A decent foundation. I can't say if it affects my acne prone skin too much because I don't use it everyday. I'd like to try other long wear foundations but this is one that is more affordable. Will purchase again unless I stumble onto something better.
Skincare - Face -Unlisted Brand - Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Milk
fadexscape 5/21/2012 5:36:00 PM
I used this with the Hada Labo whitening lotion in my day and night skin care routines. It does temporarily whiten and moisturize....but I broke out with cystic acne within a week. The ingredients are also questionable....I'm trying to be more careful with what I put on my face and body. Will not repurchase.
Toners -Unlisted Brand - Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Lotion
fadexscape 5/21/2012 5:29:00 PM
Afforable, good amount of product. Does seem to whiten and moisturize but the effect is only temporary....lasts about an hour or two, I'd say. Used this with the Arbutin milk for my day and night time routine. Within a week I started getting cystic acne....which I never get. According to http://www.cosdna.com/ some of the ingredients are highly comedogenic and not safe. I guess I was so excited about trying this, I forgot to check the ingredients before I bought it. :( Definitely will not repurchase.
Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Naruko Magnolia Brightening and firming serum
fadexscape 5/21/2012 5:15:00 PM
This is really a gorgeous product. It has a soft floral fragrance but it actually doesn't offend my sensitive nose. It's a very smooth serum that spreads easily and immediately does brighten and gives your skin a healthy glow. The packaging is a slim white glass bottle with a pump so I don't have to worry about bacteria. And it's affordable. The only drawback for me is not knowing the ingredients. While some asian brands claim to be chemical free, oil free, preservative free etc. they actually aren't. My source for this has been http://www.cosdna.com/ While they don't have this particular item listed, other naruko products are and their ingredient lists have some things that I don't want to put on my face. I never used this consistently so I can't say anything about the firming or if it broke me out. I only used it on days I wanted that extra "oomph." In the end, I'd rather buy products where I know exactly what I'm putting on my skin. I'll use up my bottle but I won't repurchase.
Primer? Illuminator? Miracle in a tube, definitely. It gives a great natural looking glow without any chunks of glitter found in drugstore/cheaper brands. I usually wear this over another primer since it doesn't do a thing for large pores. I also like to mix this in with my Mac pro longwear since I hate that completely matte look. Best of all, it's oil free so it won't aggravate my oily, acne prone skin. Expensive but very worth it
Mascara -Maybelline - Lash Stiletto Voluptuous Waterproof
fadexscape 5/21/2012 4:51:00 PM
This is my go to mascara. It doesn't flake at all on me, it gives me great length and nice bit of volume but not as much as I'd like. It's a nice, somewhat natural look, nothing too overdone. It does start to smudge after about 8-10 hours but I'm usually home by then and ready to take off my makeup so it's okay. Packaging is slim the handle easy to hold, and I actually really love the shape of the wand. There's a curve/wave in there that helps me get to the root of my lashes. Overall, a good buy that's great for everyday use but I'm still on the lookout for a mascara that does everything but doesn't flake or smudge.
Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast Volume Waterproof
fadexscape 5/21/2012 4:44:00 PM
This actually does what it says. Great full lash effect, it also seemed to give a tiny bit more length. Unfortunately, it flakes throughout the day. The wand also takes a bit of getting used to....but money would be better spent on something else.
Scrubs -Olay - Regenerist Microdermabrasion and Peel Kit
fadexscape 6/23/2011 4:46:00 PM
I am in love. This is the best thing ever. After every use, skin is baby butt smooth and glowing. It's supposed to be used twice a week....I've started doing it once a week since it is kind of pricey. I prefer doing it on Friday nights before bed so my makeup goes on flawlessly for whatever I'm doing on the weekend. This is great for tightening up pores...I believe it's helped with some pih from some acne too. I definitely noticed that the spots aren't there as long. I plan on stocking up when there's a good sale on. Totally recommend.
This was a complete waste of money. The only good thing about it was that the color really does last. However, that doesn't make up for everything else. It's not very pigmented so I had to go over the line 2-3 times. It's dry, so it was pulling at my skin. And what annoyed me the most was that the tip kept breaking off. Even with the tiniest amount sticking out of the tube, it'd still break. I gave this eyeliner many chances but it went into the trash. Save your money for something else.
HG status! It does exactly what it says it does, and it does it splendidly. ;) I especially love it for blackheads. If I don't feel like having the whole mask on, I just dab it where I need it. Works like a charm.
This does a great job of concealing any flaws. I bought this in yellow beige, which is a tad too dark for me. I'm sure if I got a another shade lighter and mixed them, it'd be perfect. Although coverage is great, it didn't last all day. Came home once to find patches of this stuff left on my cheeks. Ugh. It's possible that might have been due to all the other products I put on my face like sunblock, moisturizer, & primer. I'll have to do a few more experiments with it. Overall, great product. But there's some liquid foundations that can do the same for around the same price and without the hassle of warming the cover creme. I'd buy again if I can't find a foundation to meet my standards.
Cleansers -Ponds - Deep Cleanser and Makeup Remover With Cucumber Extract
fadexscape 5/27/2011 4:16:00 AM
This is the BEST drugstore makeup remover ever. Only real downside is the mineral oil, which my skin hates. I have to wipe with a towel and then wash really good. The tub also isn't the best but I think it's still worth it.
