Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Expert Eyes Eyeshadow - Amethyst
eyelinerhappy41907 5/16/2008 10:27:00 PM
I love this shadow! It's a high-pearl finish dark amthyst/deep purple, and it brings out the brown in my eyes (that are dark enough to look black). It also lasts really long, and is dirt cheap ($3 each!) =D
Lip Gloss -Bath and Body Works - Temptations Wickedly Hot Chocolate
eyelinerhappy41907 5/11/2008 7:08:00 PM
Weeee, HG lip gloss! This makes my lips look almost red, and sometimes pink, it's weird, but looks awesome on me! I DON'T like the smell and taste though, I'm going to try to find another gloss in this color..and the tube leaks too...
This is my HG body lotion! I looove this stuff, there are vitamins and natural oils, and sea plant extracts, soooo many good things here. It got a lippie off 'cause it has parabens, but they're at the very bottom of the ingredient list, so I think I'm safe. =) The absolute best things about this? This has NO mineral oil or petroleum, does not break out my very acne-prone skin, AND (drum roll), it got rid of my kp!!!! =o AND, it only costs $4 at WalMart!!!!
Lotions/ Creams -Burt's Bees - Baby Bees Buttermilk Lotion
eyelinerhappy41907 5/9/2008 7:40:00 PM
This lotion is just ok, not bad, not good. It's a little pricey when you consider the amount that you get, and it does moisturize, but doesn't leave your skin feeling silky smooth, it's actuallly sticky even after the lotion absorbs. =/ Now I'm using Ocean Potion Hemp Seed lotion and that stuff leaves my skin sily smooth! I only use this on my feet now.
Blush -Bare Escentuals - Warmth All Over Face Color
eyelinerhappy41907 5/4/2008 12:27:00 PM
As a blush, this is ok, as long as it's used in moderation, but I've found better ones, not exactly my fave blush ever. I was reading tips and that Leslie lady from BE or w/e her name is said you can use this as a lipcolor, NEVER do this, I looked like a chola. or a cheap skanky 5 cent hooker. Horrible horrible horrible... Not a very good product for the money, this is probably worth about $3 AT THE MOST.
Blush -Maybelline - Dream mousse blush in soft plum [DISCONTINUED]
eyelinerhappy41907 4/26/2008 9:12:00 PM
I really like this blush. Actually, it seems like all of Maybelline's blushes are great. I have the Expertwear blush and that's great as well. Anyways, this has a really nice texture; nice and light and airy, just like mousse. It has awesome staying power too, even on the oil-slick called my face. Stays on ALL DAY! =D The color is really lovely too, leaves you nice and flushed. I reccommend this completely. =)
Eye Shadow -Unlisted Brand - Hot Topic Eyeshadow Duos
eyelinerhappy41907 4/25/2008 10:04:00 PM
Hmmm, well the eyeshadow duos I got are in diff packaging than the pics, so idk if the girl who posted the pics has the same product in diff packaging, but the ones I bought are circular compacts. The eyeshadow pans are two half-circles...the packaging is actually nice and sturdy, I really like it... Anyways, these are super-cheap first of all, only about $3 or $4, can't remember exactly...but they are amazing, so pigmented, great color choices, and sooo smooth, AND they stay on all day without fading or budging, simply amazing. I actually think these are as good as MAC shadows *gasp* yes, MAC! Try it at least, if you hate it, then hey, you're only out of $3 or $4, right?
I can't believe all the bad reviews on this thing. I have this in black btw. I used to swear by the Urban Decay 24/7 pencil, and the Shiseido eyeliner pot, well I still use them, but they're expensive...(UD: $15, Shiseido: about $25). And this costs 99 cents! And the pencil is soooo long, it'll last me forever! It's nice and creamy and goes on very smooth and stays exactly how I put it on in the morning 'till I take it off at night. I have oily eyelids, and this still stays on! *gasp* AND, it's sooooo black, which I loooove. I hate alot of liners 'cause they aren't black enough. UD, Shiseido, this, besides a few others (which weren't that great though other than being black), are the only ones I've found that are really black. It only costs 99 cents, so if you hate it, then hey, it's not a huge deal. =P At least give it a try, you might end up loving it as much as I do! =D Btw, this is the really long pencil liner. It just looks like a really long pencil with a clear plastic cap at the top.
Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Enchanted Orchid
eyelinerhappy41907 3/1/2008 12:34:00 PM
I have the spritzer on, and I can't stop smelling myself! I love it! It's floral and powdery at the same time without making you smell like an old lady. I'm 15 and I love this. =)
Hair -L'Oreal - Feria Haircolor in Chocolate Cherry
eyelinerhappy41907 2/16/2008 5:43:00 PM
All I can say is that: I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE this! I'm Asian, and unfortunately my black hair always fades to a dull brown, so I wanted to dye it a different color 'cause the brown is boring and a lot of black dyes look really fake, so I wanted to try red, and I love this! On me it turns out more red than purple-burgundy like alot of people said but it's just gorgeous!
I love this! I got this at a sale, $2 each! So I got four, and I LOVE them, they're so minty and tingly. They taste good and really do freshen my breath. They're also very moisturizing. I have the ones in the green tubes, the tinted ones. Even the really dark tint is pretty sheer and just punches up your lip color very nicely. Yay for Menthashine!!! Lol.
I have to admit that these smell really good, but...it made me break out horribly! They dried out my skin too. I realized that this was making my bacne and chest acne so much worse, and worst of all (don't read if you're squeamish): I broke out on the back of my upper leg, not small zits, enormous pustules, with a black dot in the middle, and when I squeezed it, SO much white pus came out! I was so disgusted!!! >_< I'm never using these again in my life! As soon as I stopped using this, my skin went back to normal. It's also ridiculously expensive for such a small amount of product. Horrible, just completely horrible!
Gels/Soaps -St. Ives - Oatmeal and Shea Butter Body Wash
eyelinerhappy41907 1/31/2008 5:08:00 PM
I just got out of the shower after using this for the first time and I'm in love with it already! =D First of all, the smell is just amazing! Like cookies! Even though it's sweet, it's def. not sickly sweet. Like fresh baked oatmeal cookies! The texture is amazing too and a small drop lathers SO well! You can feel how smooth it is when you smooth it on, and when you rinse it off, you can tell that your skin is in better shape. I've been out of the shower for about an hour now and I can still smell the scent on me! I smell SO good! My skin feels really moisturized too and since this has oatmeal, it should be good for those with itchy skin. Shea butter is also one of the best moisturizers out there and what I really like about this is that the good ingredients (shea butter and oatmeal) are the 5th and 6th ingredient listed, unlike a lot of washes that say they have something good and beneficial and it's one of the last ingredients listed. Get this!! You won't regret it. PS: Did I mention that it smells like cookies? Lol.
I usually use the Urban Decay 24/7 pencil in Zero but I bought this 'cause the lady at the Shiseido counter said it was really good. At first I was hesitant 'cause it's $10 more than the UD one, which is amazing, but I bought it on impulse. =) Anyways, I'm not disappointed. The brush I do admit is a little small but once you get used to it and "break it in" it's fine. You have to remember to wipe it VERY thoroughly after each use so that you don't dry it out though and put the cap on the liner back tightly. Anyways, I wear my liner pretty heavy, I guess a punk look, and this is great for that. I like a very distinct clean line on my lower lash line and a bit smudged on top. This does both wonderfully. It doesn't dry automatically so you can smudge it but once it dries, it stays put! Definitely worth $25.
Cleansers -L'Oreal - AcneResponse Daily Adult Acne Regimen
eyelinerhappy41907 12/31/2007 8:46:00 PM
This is an average product. I use the Proactiv cleanser and lotion and they work much better. I like the cleanser, but the toner had alcohol which I did not like at all. The lotion did a good job of clearing my skin but it left a film on my skin and it rolled off a bit when I applied moisturizer. Not a very good product. Besides clearing acne, it doesn't do anything for your skin.
