Shampoo -Joico - Moisture Recovery

My stylist uses this on my hair and completely sold me into buying. It has been a staple for some time, and every time I decide to switch shampoo's, my hair resist and ends up dry and brittle. The clients that come to our office, always compliment my hair. That is reason enough to stay and not to stray.

This is nothing negative to say about the Ecotool set. I use dermminerals and achieve flawless perfection with the face brush. There is no shedding and it picks up the right amount of product. Made with study materials, I see this set lasting a long time.

Lotions/ Creams -Neutrogena - Norwegian Formula Hand Cream

It is hard working in a dr. office and having to constantly wash my hands. This keeps my hands from cracking and peeling around the cuticles. Everyone in the office uses this. There is no other hand cream that offers better protection. Its a great product for rough heels and knees.

Cleansers -Obagi - Gentle Cleanser

Soothing best describes the Nu-Derm cleanser. Good for reactive or fussy skin types. I had to switched from Cetaphil as it caused breakouts. This is a gentle cleanser and one to use everyday. I alternate the MD Forte along with this one. Dermatologist recommended.

Moisturizers -Avene - Light Protective Hydrating Cream (Hydrance Optimale SPF 20)

This should be listed in the sunscreen reviews. Where I work, we sell the entire Avene line. My favorite in the line is this sunscreen. It is not the American sunscreen and you can read more in my notepad. I've never found it to be heavy or too thick, but just the right consistency for my combination skin. Don't mistake this as a moisturizer, because the spf ingredients prevents it from being moisturizing. There are lighter Avene spf lotions that are better suited for oily skins. Excellent ppd protection than the regular store bought sunscreens.

Lotions/ Creams -Cerave - Moisturizing Cream
estheticianjill 12/7/2010 12:29:00 PM
This is recommended by my derm boss to all his clients. It is a simple moisturizing cream, but works well for trentinone users or those looking for a basic cream. I have to say, I love this for our harsh N.Y.winters. I used to develope bad rashes due to cold winds and this calms my skin. This is one product, I could never be without.

Cleansers -MD Forte - Facial Cleanser III
estheticianjill 12/7/2010 12:23:00 PM
Pleased to say, I have worked up to level 3. My skin doesn't tolerate trentinone and this is a nice alternative. As an esthetician the skin can be over worked with various anti-aging products. My basics are a good glycolic cleanser, moisturizer and follow up sunscreen. I do have the yearly laser treatment for those nasty spots, so my skin stays healthy and in check. This is an excellent product, but start off with the #1 and work up.
