I received this as a gift last winter and found that I quite like it. The color is light but it matches my skin tone in the winter quite well. I don't use it in the summer when I get a bit darker. The coverage is light, but I like that. I hate heavy make-up. It seems a bit watery to me, but that makes application easier. It doesn't break me out, but it didn't seem to help clear anything up when I occasionally get pimples. The oil control is lacking. I get shiny after a few hours. The BB cream does transfer. It transfers onto the collar of my shirts and the screen of my phone. However, this doesn't bother me much as I haven't found a foundation, tinted moisturizer, or BB cream that didn't transfer onto phone screens. Lastly, the price is pretty darn good.
I bought this a while ago and was very excited to use it. I was so disappointed. I found it too shimmery and although it goes on smooth, the shadow was too powdery and loose. It broke, crumbled into a pot of powder and got quite messy. It is also messy to use. It does not stay put. I thought I'd give it another try today. Still do not like it. It is messy to use and it gives messy results. I don't like shimmery cheeks, but that's what this product gives me. I think I'll finish this product as a highlighter and use it on days when shimmery cheeks are welcome.
I was excited to try this considering all the good reviews. However, this didn't work for me. I expected a waterproof eyeliner that lasted all day and wouldn't smudge. It didn't last all day, wasn't waterproof, and did smudge. I bought it in Black Ink. It is a good pigmented black color for a pencil eyeliner. And also smooth and creamy for a pencil (it went on without too much trouble, just glides on). I used this without eyeshadow or anything else on my eye. It lasted through a dinner and when I got home it had only smudged a little. So it looked okay after about 3-4 hours. I used this with eyeshadow and it didn't help it set. I put it on early in the morning (just on the upper line). It smudged a little by noon and ran down to the lower line (made it looked like I had intentionally put it there). By the evening, it was pretty smudged around my eye. It wasn't terrible; I didn't end up with raccoon eyes, it just looked like I had smudged it around for a smoky look. So it wasn't terrible, just not what I had expected or wanted. My eyes aren't terribly oily, but for some reason pencil liners usually do not work for me. I was hoping this would, but it didn't. For $12.50 a pencil, I'll keep looking.
I've been on a search for an everyday inoffensive fragrant that I can wear to school. While this had fitted the bill nicely, after months of use, I've found it to be a tad average, perhaps even boring. I like soft sweet floral scents and this is just that, but it's so incredibly average. It's staying power is decent, it lasts for about half of the day. It's a nice scent, just a bit average, but I suppose that's alright for it's purpose as an almost everyday fragrance. My classmates seem to like it. I've received a few compliments while wearing it. I'll finish the bottle, but will most likely not repurchase and instead continue my search for the perfect fragrance. Oh, but I love the bottle. It looks so classic and pretty.
This stuff is amazing. It won't come off unless you want it to. I had tried it on my hand and forgot it was there until the next day (it was still there as if I had not showered or wash my hands at all). I really wanted to get it, but could not bring myself to pay $16 for a department store eyeliner. Eventually, I broke down after a month of struggling with gel liners that were drying out. I bought sculpt and a few other colors. I've been using it for a few months now and I love it. I still can't believe how steadfast this stuff is. The only thing I dislike is the brush and the fact that it does take longer to dry than some other liquid liners like most of the previous reviewers commented, but that's a few inconveniences I can live with. The benefit of not having to worry of looking like a raccoon as I run around all day is definitely worth it. The colors available are great (although I wish it was a larger range). Sculpt is really extremely black and Abstract is so pretty, when it dries it becomes a nice silvery blue greyish shade (looks especially nice when I'm wearing blue contacts). Anyway, this stuff is great if you are looking for a highly pigmented steadfast liquid liner and do not mind working at applying and removing it (because it does take quite a bit of effort to remove). Update 02.07.2013: I still love this stuff. I tried to buy more only to discover that I couldn't as of 10-2012. Jemma Kidd the company entered administration. Their website no longer exists, Urban Outfitters doesn't have it, and Target has clearance out the line last Fall. Wish I had stocked up. You can still buy it via Ebay and the like.
I needed some new eyeliner desperately a few weeks ago for the day, but I couldn't go anywhere that would carry MAC. I decided to buy this at the nearest Target after some quick research online and MUA. I was planning on using it as a temp eyeliner, but it works excellently that I don't think I'll need to stop by MAC anytime soon. It goes on easy and stays put. Plus the price is hard to argue with.
