A SA recommended this product for my dry skin during the winter month and at first I thought the jar might have cost around $80-100+. However, the price is very decent because it is $49 CAD! I tried it on and wow, my skin was instantly smoother and more hydrated! It did not feel very sticky and the smell was pleasant and not overwhelming! I put this on before I put my matte foundations and it did not accentuate dry patches. Grab a sample at Sephora and give it a try! I love this for winter months when my skin is dry and flaky! The lotus eye cream is pretty good too!

I HAVE NEVER found a HG drugstore foundation and never had any luck in drugstore foundations. I have always gone back to Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation, Lancome tiented Idole Ultra and Shu Uerema Nobora Stick. I have always been a big fan of department store foundations. HOWEVER, I have finally found a drugstore foundation I REALLY LOVE! The Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous Foundation works just as well as those in the department stores! LOVE LOVE LOVE! I also love how it has a pump! I have combination skin/sensitive skin and it did not dry out my skin at all. It is shine free and does not make my face oily during mid day. I did not need to set this with a powder because the foundation turns into a nice powdery finish. I have no broken out yet. One layers is good but if you want a full coverage, you can built it up. This foundation reminds me of Makeup Forever Mat Velvet! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!! GIVE IT A TRY! :)

Shampoo -A/G - Colour Savour Sulfate Free Shampoo

This was recommended by the hair stylists after I got my hair colored at the salon. This shampoo is sulfate free and the smell is very lovely. It lathers to a foamy texture. 1L bottle cost about 27 bucks Canadian and lasts a long time. I find this shampoo to be moisturizing and does not strip away my colour dyed hair; as well my colour hair does not fade as easily. This is also a Canadian product! <3

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - 24/7 Glide-On Shadow Pencil

I love the Sephora jumbo pencil and I love it. I decided to give Urban Decay pencil a try and I am quite disappointed as every time I use it, the tip would break off on me. Ive also tried the Makeup Forever Pencil and I still love the Sephora Jumbo Pencil as it cost less and works better!

BB Cream -Lioele - Triple Solution BB cream

I tried Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream and the oil control wasn't that good. By mid day, my face became shiny, oily and disgusting (even with loose powder to set it). I also tried Dr. Jart BB cream and it was just alright. I decided to try Lioele Triple the Solution BB cream and I must say I prefer this one A LOT MORE. You just need a little bit and it covers the whole face. It spreads easily than the Missha. It stays flawless and natural when I set it with a bit of loose powder. Would definitely re-purchase this for the summer days when I hate putting foundation on a hot weather. This also contains SPF 30 and moisturizer properties.

Pressed Powders -MAC - Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder (Pressed)

Loose finishing translucent powder such as Makeup Forever HD powder and Elf HD powder can tend to get messy as it goes all over the place. I am glad Mac came up with a pressed version! It is great for touch up during the day when I get a bit shiny. It applies smoothy and sets my makeup looking flawless. it's not drying at all. One of the CONS is that it does not come with a puff or application to apply with when you want to carry it in your purse or traveling. However, you can get ELF Powder PUFFS for 4 for a $1 and stick one in the compact to go! Hopefully, Mac will add a puff in it one day!

Eye Shadow -Estee Lauder - Signature Eyeshadow Quad Amber Honey

I got this during gift time and I am quite disappointed in the texture and pigmentation of these eyeshadow shades. Even with base and primer, it comes off as very sheer wash of colour. Great for people who want a sheer wash, subtle colour on their eyelids. I prefer my Mac, Urban Decay, Too Faced and Coastal Scents eyeshadow because they are very pigmentation and vibrant. I will not re purchase Estee Lauder eyeshadow. However, I love their foundation line!

I got this eyeshadow during gift time and I have to say I am quite disappointed with this product. I love their line of foundations but this eyeshadow is very sheer and not very pigmented. Even with eyeshadow primer and base, it took lots of swipes in the products and still was not vibrant enough. I gave them away to my cousin who is just starting out with makeup. Will not buy Estee Lauder eyeshadow. I will stick to my coastal scents, urban decay, too faced, makeup forever, Lorac and Mac eyeshadow.

Misc Beauty Tools -Sephora - Precision Pore Cleansing Pad

Great product. I normally use a cleansing brush but I was told it is very hard to clean the brush as bacteria and dirt can be trapped in the bristles. This cleansing pad is great because you can clean it. I use this with my cleanser or my scrub and gently use circulate motions..and it cleans well and does not scratch my face as i have sensitive skin. This is gentle! Give it a try!! Very easy to use and handy!

I got this as a sample because it was recommended by a sales associate. I tried it and it was great for my sensitive skin. I use this with the sephora precision pore cleansing pad..and gently circulate the product on my face. It works great and leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh. I have sensitive skin and this does not seem to bother me. I purchased the full size of this!

Eye Shadow -Stila - Prime Pot

I got this and I applied this as a base on my eyelid and then use Sephora waterproof jumbo eye pencil on top of my Stilia base. Then i put eyeshadow;It makes my eyeshadow vibrant and sticks on well without creasing throughout the day as I tend to get oily eyelids. Works wonder with this combo! I have tried other primer and it either made my eyelid dry and my eyeshadow cakey, but this one works great as a base. This is the eyeshadow base I reached for the most.

After doing some research and the big hype on you tube and on beauty blogs. I decided to purchase this and this is an amazing brush for applying liquid foundation, powder foundation etc! I LOVE it. MY HG brush for flawless looking skin! I have a set of brushes from them and they are great quality for the price! I highly recommend this! you can also google for coupon code as well. =)

Lipstick -Unlisted Brand - - Candy Doll- Ramune Pink

This is a korean brand lipstick and wow, I love this shade. It's a nude pink and top it off with gloss, it's very pretty neutral pink for light skin. For reference i am NW20. This lipstick is quite pigmented. It is not drying but if your lips are dry, you might want to apply lip balm first. I lovee korean makeup! The only downside is it is not sold everywhere and it may be hard to find in Canada. I purchased this on ebay and it was shipped to me from Asia.

Cleansers -Clinique - Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm

This is quite different from the regular cleansing oil in a tube that I usually use (MAC cleaning oil is another favorite of mines - does not contain mineral oil). I decided to give it a try and I am impressed how silky it applies on my face and it cleans my face very well, while removing traces of makeup- It's foamy, exfoliating and milky! Moreover is on drying and does not irritate my sensitive skin. However, it comes in a jar which can be messy. Other than that, I recommend giving this one a try! The price is reasonable for a department store cleanser and it contains a lot of product.

Lip Liners -Sephora - Nano Lip Liner- Candid Candy

For reference I am NW20 and I love this nude pink lip liner as I usually use pink nude lipstick with pink nude lip gloss on it. It is not drying; however, it comes off easily for me. Wish there was more product for the price though. Other than that, I really like this shade.
