Shampoo -Dove - Refresh+Care - Invigorating Dry Shampoo

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. I received this product on a recommendation from my best friend who swore by it. As someone with super fine, blonde hair I have always wanted to try a dry shampoo! I used this once or twice and, when I came back to use it again, the product was gone. The bottle felt completely empty. There is so little product, or maybe propellant, left that the nozzle will no longer even compress. What a waste! So not worth the money. I never even had a chance to really use it, just test it on my bangs a couple of times. I will never be buying this product again. On a different note, I tried to contact Dove on several occasions but they do not list a customer service contact on their mobile site and the phone line can only be reached on weekdays during business hours. A little hard for us working girls? I eventually made it to a desktop and complained to their customer service in hopes they'll replace the product and change their packaging.

Concealers -Rimmel - Match Perfection Concealer

Maybelline Cover Stick was my tried and true concealer for years but I was starting to notice that it was looking cakey and dry around my eyes. I wanted to swap for something creamier and easy to blend, which Rimmel Match Perfection got good reviews for. It does blend easily... it feels more like a moisturizer than a makeup. However, it provides zero coverage on my skin. I have mild acne and redness in my skin, which this fails to cover. I find myself applying multiple times, so what's the point? Won't buy again. Maybe for someone with clear, even skin tone just looking to perfect. Not for someone trying to cover blemishes or undereye circles.

Eyeliner -Physicians Formula - Shimmer Strips Gel Creamliner (all)

I bought this at Target on clearance just to try something new... pencils always seem like they tug too much. I don't remember what color eye I bought this for but the three colors are purple, brown and a black with purple shimmer. I like these eyeliners! They stay in place all day. The black seems like its drying out a bit faster... maybe the shimmer makes the product a little different? They glide on really easily but the lighter colors need a couple of swipes to stay. They wear well and are pretty easy to apply for beginners like me with the little brush (included). It seems like you get a lot for your money too. Now that I've had this for a while I might try buying a different, thinner brush to get a tighter line. Will buy again!

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Falsies

I have very blonde lashes and love love love to make them look bigger and darker so I was excited to try this mascara. The brush is bigger, curved and holds a lot of product... but it can be a little tough to get every lash. I liked the look I got from it, but hours later I had raccoon eyes and flakes everywhere. I quickly had to stop using this on my bottom lashes because it smudged so badly. I wouldn't buy again for the followIng reasons: 1) Needs to be touched up too often because of smudging... don't have that kind of time at work all day. 2) The brush was difficult to use on each lash... I found myself retouching with my tried and true Great Lash. If you have to use two mascaras, what's the point? 3) The product itself didn't last very long. It dried out sooner in the tube than other products, and part of the tube broke off inside the cap... making it dry out even faster. I love Maybelline mascaras! Just not this one.
