Have used: chanel vitalumiere, Missha bb cream, mufe face and body, armani face fabric, YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat, Hera HD foundation REREVIEW: I think I liked this a lot better when it was humid out because it is not doing anything for me. The coverage is medium and it kind of looks cakey but it could be because I’m used to a more sheer coverage. Out of all the foundations I have used, I think this is quite average and not worth the price. I do recommend the Armani face fabric if you’re looking for a splurge. MUFE Face and Body and Hera HD foundation are still much better for my dry mid-20s skin. nd armani.

Shampoo -Organix - Ever Straight Brazilian Keratin Therapy

3 week edit I Decided that I'm not a fan of this product. It made my hair feel damage after awhile, and I definetly noticed when I switched back to my regular shampoo. WILL NOT BUY AGAIN. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I would give this a 3.8 if I could really... I have straight, long, Asian hair. The day I wash it, it's frizzy, and then the next day it looks great. Well, washing my hair with this makes it really smooth, and not frizzy at all like the second day. But it does make my scalp really oily day 2.

Meh. I hate the smell, but I can't really complain because I bought it because it's unscented. It doesn't leave a tight feeling afterwards, but I don't feel like it cleans very well. It doesn't have the foam consistency I would like it to have.

I like the color a lot. I have light-medium Asian skin tone, and it looks really good! However, I felt the lipstick was drying. Also, somehow, the lipstick doesn't open anymore. i think the spring inside the top broke, so I have to throw the top off in order to get it off. What a waste of my 40 bucks :(

My roommate has a full jar of it. Before I tried it, she warned me not to use it because the smell was horrid. She used it once, and the smell was so nauseating she actually threw up the whole night. Curious, I put a little bit on my hands. I had to wash my hands three times and once with cleansing oil. This is the nastiest skin product i've ever smelled, and those who disagree have some serious olfactory problems. On the other hand, the moisturing power was a 4/5, but the smell is so bad that it makes u want to rip your nose off your face

Concealers -Make Up For Ever - HD Concealer

USES: ONLY FOR UNDER EYES. It’s slightly moisturizing, and doesn’t leave a cakey effect like most concealers do. Medium coverage, but it’s buildable. I feel pot concealers are better for acne scars IMO, so use this for eye area only. PRICE: Pretty damn expensive for the amount you get PACKAGING: Makes me want to scratch my eyes out. Thinking about cutting off the silicone tip. FINAL NOTE: I would re-buy it for my dark circles which is my main skin problem. Not a good overall concealer though.

Conditioner -Skinfood - Moisture Egg Hair Pack

I bought this in Korea, so it's pretty cheap, especially compared to other hair treatments like Keratase... It smells like CUSTARD, it's cheap, and it does an average job moisturizing your hair. I just used this as a pre-conditioning treatment. I applied a crap load onto two inch strands of dry hair avoiding the roots, left it on for thirty minutes. Shampooed and condintioned, and my hair came out lovely. Although it was cheap, and did a decent job moisturizing, I feel like there are better treatments out there.

Liquid -Make Up For Ever - Face & Body Foundation

I didn't know if should get the HD or F&B. I swatchedon both sides of my face. Honestly, I couldn’t really tell the difference, but the HD was too thick for my taste. I didn’t really like it at first, but I do really like it now. Might be too dewy for oily skin but I def. recommend for dry skin! I’ve only tried Chanel Vitalumiere, and I like this 1 better bc there is no spf in it.

TOP LID: Doesn't smudge, stays put! BOTTOM LID: Smudges, esp on the water line, but every eyeliner smudges for me on the bottom, even waterproof ones. REPURCHASE: Um, not too sure. This my second eyeliner in a pot, 1st being Laneige which SUCKED. My quest for an eyeliner that doesn’t smudge under my eyes continues ]= RATING: 3.5, but I bumped it to 4 lippies :D FINISH: On plain, un-eyeshadowed lids, I have to go over the line twice as it doesn't really go on mosturized lids very well PACKAGING: It comes with a crappy small little brush. I bought a Missha eyeliner brush instead.

Tinted Moisturizer -Laura Mercier - Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 - Oil Free

Although it’s a tinted moisturizer, I feel it covers a lot for a TM. I don’t have many blemishes, so this was great for me COVERAGE: Light to medium. Buildable coverage. I would say this is a light foundation + a great moisturizer. FINISH: This gave my skin a dewy finish, but in humid weather it was borderline oily, even on my dry skin. I would not recommend wearing this alone for oily skin in humid weather unless you finish it with a powder. COLOR: NUDE. I am Korean with light medium skin color (THINK Hyori’s skin color, sans tan) This was perfect for me, and I think other Asians with one to two shades darker/lighter could use this. I would say there is a slight yellow base in this, but I can’t compare it with the other LM TM shades.

I got a sample of this in Clair (11). I am not a fan of this at all. It leaves la heavy white mask on your face. I tried masking this with foundation, but now I have a whitish glow. I'm not sure about the other colors, but this one does not suit me well

For types I,II, I would say this it's ok. I've been using it for two years, but I haven't really noticed any whitening. Maybe it's been so long and the changes are gradual that I cant see the changes... CONS - Amount, I go through a jar in a month and a half, but Clinique upped the size (and of course the price). Still not sure how long the new jar will last - Not sure if whitening is really occuring... - Whitening products tend to be drying. The first year I used this, I thought it was really moisturizing. After 2 years, I think I'll move on to something else PROS - good for spring/fall - transition weather - no scent - somewhat moisturizing

Cleansers -DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil

I’m not sure why this is getting such low reviews, but I absolutely love it. Maybe it’s breaking people out because they don’t know how to use it? When you use this, you must massage it on your DRY face with DRY HANDS. Massage for 30 seconds, add a little bit of water, massage for 30~60 seconds and RINSE REALLY REALLY WELL! Sometimes when I feel really dirty or put too much makeup on, I use a German face wash called Eubos. Also, it’s essential to use a toner with a cotton pad after cleansing oil! I recommend using cleansing oil once a day at night. Although I have dry skin, I recommend this for oily skin too. Foam facial wash is so harsh on your skin, and could be causing extra dryness to make your skin produce more oil, hence more acne. Also, this is the best cleansing oil. I’ve tried Shu Uemera (green bottle) and the Shu doesn’t really remove waterproof eye makeup as well as this one. This is cheaper and better! P.S. I USE THIS FOR CLEANSING!

Sunscreen -Chanel - UV Essentiel Protective UV Care Anti Pollution SPF 50

My favorite sun screen! It has anti-pollution ingredients which is great for a city grl like me! It does get a little bit oily, but not as much as other sunscreens I have tried (expected due to its high SPF). MY HG sunscreen! The only negatives is that it's scented. I don't see the point of having fragrance in face products unless it smells really horrendous. I have used SEVERAL different kinds of sunscreens (Lancome, Clarins, Missha, Neutrogena, other Chanel sunscreens). Clarins and this one are my favorites. I'm on the edge between Clarins and Chanel. I think they're pretty similar, but I use this one b/c they market it as anti-pollution and it has a higher SPF

Sunscreen -Lancome - UV Expert SPF 50

Overall, it’s a good sunscreen. If I wear it without foundation/powder/any face makeup, my face gets oily about four hours into the day even on my dry skin. If I wear it with makeup, the degree of oiliness varies depending on which makeup I use. I do think it’s a good sunscreen, but I will not buy it again and go back to my HG sun screen Chanel UV Essential which, in my opinion, is better and a tad bit cheaper.
