I really liked how this looks on me - thick, lush healthy lashes. The brush works well. But it smears so easily and burns really bad. I don't throw much makeup away but sadly, this one went in the trash.
I repurchase these every time I run out. I'm sorry to hear about the bad experiences - it took me a few tries to get the hang of it, but they really do work if you do a few things first. 1. clean your eyebrow area with an alcohol based toner before AND after. If your brow hairs have lots of oil from your skin, I don't think it will adhere as well. 2. like other waxing, don't do it right around the time of your period. 3. smooth it on, pressing from your nose area toward the temples/sides of face. pull off in the opposite direction (grab the edge at the outside of your face and pull toward the center of your face) They really get all those little hairs that you can't see very well. Good for people with limited vision, or those in a hurry.
Eyeliner -Jane - Be Pure Mineral Gel Eyeliner, Navy

It takes a bit longer to set than other gel liners, and it maybe isn't as pigmented as Bobbi Brown. I'd love if it were more shimmery, but it is just a navy blue, matte gel eyeliner. The brush that comes with it is very nice, easy to make a super thin line. At less than half the price of MAC or Stila, it's a good product although not quite comparable with the high end stuff.
Nails -Sally Hansen - Maximum Growth #38 - Sacred Scarlet

This is a strange formula - very liquid, is far from opaque after the first coat. I don't usually wear polish more than a few days so I can't comment on wear. But I have many more favorite red polishes (esp. Revlon) so this one isn't so great.
Polishes -Sally Hansen - Fire Opal Nail Glaze - Royal Opal

I mostly agree with the first reviewer. As it says on the bottle, this is a nail glaze so it is sheer. It does have a pretty gold flash in the right light. I can see this being really nice for a bridal manicure. I like it because I am trying to grow my nails longer and brighter/darker colors don't look as good on short nails yet. it is easy to apply and doesn't streak or smudge.
Eye Shadow -Rimmel - Colour Rush Eyeshadow Quad, Smoky Noir

I was disgusted by rimmel eyeshadows the first time around, but I decided to give them a second chance when the package was marked "new" in hopes that they had been reformulated. My gamble paid off, these shadows are very silky and richly pigmented, and they last all day.
Styling Products -Frederic Fekkai - Glossing Cream with Olive Oil

Damn. Got the packet at BBW and finally realized it's really worth the money. This kills the frizz for me but does mean I have to wash every day (usually I wash every other day).
Terrible. I can't say much more than the complaints of other reviewers, but I just wanted to add my negative feedback.
I'd like to disagree with the reviewer below - I have oily lids and this works just fine. It's not my everyday eyeliner but for doing a dramatic cat-eye, there's nothing better.
Cleansers -C.O. Bigelow - Peach Nut Oil Liquid Soap

Other reviewers pretty much got it right, it's not useful for nearly as many things as it would like you to believe. Terrible shampoo, not a great facewash. But it IS a nice handwash (not drying at all) and does delicates very well. I'll be using mine up by washing my lycra gym clothes. I wouldn't repurchase and if I needed a similar product, I'd buy dr. bronners as well.
yuck. Maybe all long-lasting lipsticks are also drying, but this was particularly unpleasant. And the shade (blushing) made me look anything but - it was like grey, dead zombie lips.
The pros are that this won't damage your nails and will help make them stronger (although it will not make them grow any faster, as the name implies). The reviewer who said this got icky after about 1/2 a bottle was correct. The brush is very long, and I don't know if that contributed to the problem but it gets very hard to apply after a while. I would not purchase it again because I have found Nailtek products to be a much more effective system. Although, it does get points for being cheap and readily available. in short, better than nothing and okay as a clear polish but not a great topcoat and there are better things available.
I highly recommend this product to anyone who has problem nails. It is easy to use - just brush on and massage in. You will see an improvement very quickly (in days to a week or so) in the condition of your nails and cuticles. Especially if you have brittle or peeling nails, this will help a lot. It's not a cure-all but it is a very good place to start if you want healthier, more beautiful nails.
I generally like Stila's lipglazes, but this one was just meh. In the pen, it looks a pretty nude with brickish undertones. On me, it was either nothing, or applied thickly it looked like...not good.
Very pretty fuchsia-pink. Not quite hot-pink, but very 80's and very bright. The finish is not as glossy as I'd like, but it does cover well and it is formaldehyde free, which is a plus. I like the bottles and they are cheap enough to buy several at a time and have fun!
