Pressed Powders -Revlon - Colorstay Pressed Powder with SoftFlex

I've always struggled with powder foundations from the drugstore, but this powder is amazing! It has the best finish I've ever seen- natural, not cakey, and not powdery. It looks natural, but most importantly, it keeps you matte all day long. It's great for using on its own for lighter days, or setting a liquid foundation on those days when you need more coverage. It's a very high quality powder, and for only $10, the price certainly can't be beat!

Tinted Moisturizer -Cover Girl - CG Smoothers Tinted Moisturizer Fair to Light

I love this tinted moisturizer! It accheives everything that I want from a tinted moisturizer, and is very reasonably priced. If you're expecting to get foundation-like coverage from this, then you'll obviously be disappointed. This is a product for people who don't need a lot of coverage, and for them, it's amazing! I have sensitive skin, and didn't break me out. I picked up the long-wearing one, and it sure does last a long time. I recommend setting it with a powder just so that it doesn't get oily throughout the day (especially if you have oily skin). Overall, a great product!

Foundations -Revlon - ColorStay Mineral Mousse Makeup [DISCONTINUED]
eokada1 3/8/2011 7:41:00 PM
I wouldn't recommend this for people with dry skin, as I can see this accentuating dry patches on the face. However, I have dry to normal skin, and I didn't have any problems with this making me look flaky. The consistency of this foundation makes it a dream to blend into your skin, and it looks very natural. This is a medium coverage foundation. My biggest gripe with this foundation is the matte finish- I wish it had a dewey finish, because it would make this foundation work a lot better. With the matte finish, this foundation has a tendency to look a tad cakey. To combat this, I add a spritz of MAC Fix+: I just wish it had a dewey finish!

Scrubs -Clean & Clear - Blackhead clearing scrub

I, despite all the other reviews on here, really like this face wash. While it doesn't clear blackheads, it definitely has helped to keep my skin free of any breakouts. It might not be the best bet for those with sensitive skin, as the beads can be a tad harsh. The smell is very light and unnoticeable, and this is a no-frills kind of face wash.

Moisturizers -Neutrogena - Combination Skin Moisture Oil Free
eokada1 3/8/2011 7:36:00 PM
I've finally found a good drugstore moisturizer! This was $14 at Rite Aid, and I don't regret a single penny. I have relatively dry skin, but I picked up the combination one in fear that the dry one would leave my skin oily. This makes for the perfect moisturizer to apply underneath your makeup- it dries to a matte finish, and allows your makeup to apply smoothly and evenly. This is not the most moisturizing lotion out there, but I was able to use it throughout the entire winter, and I live in a cold climate! If you're looking for a great affordable moisturizer, this might just be the winner.

Cleansers -Neutrogena - Oil-Free Acne Wash Cream Cleanser
eokada1 3/8/2011 7:34:00 PM
I picked this up and wasn't expecting too much from it. While admittedly less drying than the original version, this still leaves my skin feeling tight, and I don't have very dry skin! It kept my skin relatively clear, but I still broke out around my forehead, even though I don't have acne prone skin. After having this in my cupboard for a few months, the product started to settle so that I had a clear liquid coming out whenever I squeezed the bottle! I think that there are much better options in the drugstore that to be settled on this- Neutrogena's acne line disappoints me in general, and I know I won't be buying this again.
