Sunscreen -Unlisted Brand - Devita Daily Solar Protective Moisturizer spf 30

Looking for a replacement for my sadly discontinued "daylight savings" daily sunscreen (if anyone knows where I can buy some non-expired please message me!), I decided to try this when it was on sale in Whole foods on the vague memory that it was recommended on MUA as a good natural sunscreen. However, as noted by previous reviewers, a few minutes after applying this product white particles started to flake off my face. I tried mixing a few drops of argan oil before applying which helped a little, but not enough to stop the noticeable flaking (my sister observed that my face looked "crusty"). Perhaps if you are covering this with heavy foundation, this would not be a problem. Or if you always watched head and shoulders commercials with envy, wishing for dandruff. Otherwise, this product will leave you with white streaks and flakes on your face that are inappropriate for nearly every professional or social situation. Too bad because it has a nice ingredient profile and feels pretty good on (hence the two rating).

This product is a great moisturizer when you first buy it- however I have noticed that it gets thicker when the bottle is half (or more) empty. (and I prefer the "new bottle" consistency). That said, I was able to make that discovery because I have used and repurchased more than one bottle - this is a good value.
Purchased this at a health food store for under $3- was very impressed with the ingredients and quality at that price. Have the chai and cherry flavors and enjoy them both.

The packaging is definitely the best part. Keeps the lip balm clean and is easy to find in a bag. Also appreciate the natural ingredients. The lip balm itself isn't bad, if a little waxy and not that moisturizing.
This product felt great when on, loved the ingredient safety and consistency of the sunscreen. However it is really hard to remove and I break out without fail every time I use it, as well as have dry, white flakes on my skin. Maybe if a moisturizer was used underneath, as suggested, it would mitigate this but as someone who does not like using a lot of products, and breaks out just from touching my face, I will probably not repurchase.
Moisturizers -Alba Botanica - Hawaiian Aloe & Green Tea Oil Free Moisturizer

I started using this when I wanted to find an oil-free moisturizer that was also paraben-free. I am not a fan of face cream, so I appreciate the light texture. The scent is pretty nice and it is not irritating to skin. I am not that into the high price though! :)

The price is high, but tweezers are worth every penny.
It was the last one left at the CVS, so word has gotten around, i guess! A great rosy color- looked very natural and not "overdone." It did have the lipstick smell, but what can you do. The price was very reasonable at 3$, and texture was like any standard lipstick, not cheap or overly waxy. I'm someone who hates lipstick, so not expecting much there.
Sunscreen -Boots - Soltan Facial Sun Defence Cream SPF30

This is not greasy, and offers great protection. The only con is that it isn't sold in the US ...when it ran out, I was very unhappy.
This is not that bad, it did not leave hair dry, and pretty cheap when i bought it. I actually did not like the smell.
This is not a bad sunscreen. I did not find that it balled up unless i rubbed my skin, so if you don't do that, it should be fine. I don't spend a lot of time out in the sun, so i don't get burned anyway and cannot speak to that, but for incidental sun exposure it is fine. I also don't like that it comes in a tube with a small opening, so that if you squeeze out too much, you can't put the rest back in. The good part is its stability and it does not feel gross and hard to wash off like dry touch. edit: as i used the tube up, it started to pill more. don't know why...but i am not going to repurchase as a facial sunscreen.

The black head end is useless, but the whitehead one is awesome (and removes blackheads, too). It was 9.50 at a beauty supply store, but that is still cheaper in the long run than biore strips. I have the "no-slip" version, which is less angled than another version I saw at the same place. Edit: I read that too much of this can enlarge your pores, so I am cutting down on use.
Sunscreen -Kiss Me - Sunkiller Clear Water SPF 50 PA+++

Nice for a matte, powdery sunscreen. The negative is 1. it is not available in the us (a friend brought it for me from japan) and 2. it does not wash off easily.
Rated 4 because of price (though I got it at a substantial discount- to me, loreal at the drugstore is high-end). Hard to tell if it is "working" because I bought it to prevent skin damage, but it definitely doesn't clog my pores. Smell is unpleasant, but doesn't linger. dropper packaging makes it difficult to get out the last drops.
I use this every day- doesn't dry, cleans well, and keeps me from breaking out too much. The packaging can get watery and gross if you aren't careful though.
