i received a few deluxe samples of this with a Sephora purchase, tried it once, and immediately put it at the back of my bathroom cabinet. i stumbled upon it several weeks later and tried it again. the first time i tried this product, i dismissed it as being too light colored for my olive toned asian skin, and it became way too oily throughout the day. after i gave it another chance, however, it quickly became my everyday go-to for class. although it initially seems light, it seems to quickly adjust to my skin (helps that i am paler in the winter!). a quick swipe of my Laura Mercier mineral finishing powder almost eliminates any oil throughout the day. but best of all, this bb cream is super moisturizing and gives me the dewiest glow out of any other bb cream i have tried. in conclusion, it's really great for winter days (may be too pale and no-coverage for nights out), but i would hesitate on buying it for the summer.
this is absolutely my HG. i wear this every day and my skin has never been so flawless (i've started to wear no foundation sometimes because i don't need it any more!!!). a little goes a looong way and this stuff truly lasts forever. the packaging is perfect and so travel friendly. i wear sand and it looks lovely on my asian skin tone. it lasts all day without looking oily or needing touch ups; i actually think it looks better and better as the day goes on!! i really can't say enough good things about this product. use it with the mineral finishing powder and i swear you will never look back!!!
Blush -Bobbi Brown - Pot Rouge for Lips and Cheeks - Powder Pink

i'm somewhat of a blush fanatic and i quite love this stuff. i'm on my third tin. the good points first - it's very versatile and buildable, works with any make up look; it's travel-friendly (i carry this in my purse for touch ups); it blends very well; it also works as a great base for a powder blush. it also lasts forever. however, the staying power is pretty bad. if i wear this without powder on top, i would probably have to re-apply every hour. further, the name is misleading. it looks fantastic on my cheeks but on my lips... not so great. it's very drying, highlights every crack in my lips and takes on a strange, orangey color.
this stuff is ok. i'm not crazy about the lemony smell, and i really don't like that it leaves a powdery residue on my scalp (i can feel little powder pieces when i touch it!), but it does it's job just fine and doesn't leave white residue in my black hair. i suppose i would buy again, given the lack of options on the market (the klorane dry shampoo is my all time favorite, but the unreliable nozzle, which stops working after the first spray, is a dealbreaker).
this could be my HG. i've tried other dry shampoos but this one is the most fuss-free (sprays like a dream!) and leaves my hair feeling the most clean (and there is no annoying powdery residue on my scalp). it also smells really wonderful! the only problems are the steep price and the highly temperamental nozzle. the first time i bought this, i used it ONCE (it worked amazingly) but a few days later when i picked it up again, absolutely nothing came out!!!!! so frustrating. now, two years later, i have given in and bought another one, because i have not found a dry shampoo quite like it. so far so good. i have used it 3-4 times and it still sprays very nicely. crossing my fingers!!! if this bottle gives me a reasonable amount of uses before it runs dry i will definitely purchase again!
deep rose. much darker than my natural lip color, but it looks perfectly natural and subtle on - perfect for a professional work place. it's also extremely creamy and moisturizing (perhaps too much so; it doesn't seem to last very long at all - my one complaint). also, as other reviewers have mentioned, the opaque tube makes it impossible to see how much is left - but so far it has lasted the past 5 months - basically forever!
