I purchased this online at a dramatically reduced rate so when it arrived in the post and seemed a little dull I couldn't really complain. Overtime, I have really grown to love this palette. The centre colour was my favourite but has now run out so I happily use the others in the collection. I find the only colour that doesn't really suit me is the shimmery, pink pearl shade, it's too cool, but I'll occasionally use it in my brow bone. All the other shades really compliment my skin tone and allow me to create a great every day natural yet glam eye. I will repurchase even at a standard, non-reduced rate.

Cleansers -Murad - Environmental Shield Essential-C Cleanser

I got this cleanser as a gift when I purchased Marie Clare. I was actually in desperate need of a new cleanser but with pay day a week away, I thought this little freebie could keep me going until I could research a suitable alternative. I've never been a great believer that a skin product can work wonders so I expected very little, however, I began to notice that after several days consistent use, my skin was brighter and had fewer spots. As soon as I ran out of this trial size product, my spots started to come back and the glow had gone. I have incredibly bothersome skin that gets acne and eczema, so to find a product that doesn't aggravate either is a real relief. I have resigned myself to the fact that I will never have the most beautiful skin so my aim is to make it as best as I can. I use this cleanser twice in the morning, and twice in the evening (to get makeup off and then to really clean out my pores) and it gives me that squeaky clean feeling without the dryness. I’m really happy that I stumbled upon this product and I will continue to purchase.

Lipstick -Lipstick Queen - by Poppy -Saint Natural

I wouldn't usually buy a sheer, natural lipstick - too boring - but this was given to me by my aunt because she's not a lipstick wearer but somehow ended up making this purchase when Poppy King was doing a Lip Reading (?) at Myer in Melbourne. I'm so glad she decided to pass it on to me because I love this lipstick! As the previous review said, it's like my lips but better - much better! Has pretty good staying power and after an application or two my lips look dewy and soft. I now want the whole range! Just bought Saint Rose but think I'll have to get Wine, Rust, Red, Berry and Coral as well!

Crème -Rimmel - cool matte mousse foundation [DISCONTINUED]

I don't like this at all. Let's just say that I don't have the nicest skin. I'm prone to flare-ups and have acne scarring and flaky/dry areas. This foundation did my skin no favours. It set in a really weird way and was hard to blend. It showed off every pore and flaw and. I will never ,ever repurchase.

Gels/Soaps -LUSH - Figs and leaves soap

This is my first Lush product and I'm pretty impressed. I'm not usually a soap fan because I have sensitive skin that suffers from eczema but figs and leaves didn't upset my skin at all and the nicely rounded fig seeds made my skin feel smoother and softer. I like this products soft scent and find it lingers in the bathroom. My sales assistant gave me a jumbo catalogue of lush products and I’m deciding what to use next. I like the fact that Lush is an ethical company and because of their stance on the environment and animal testing I’m prepared to pay that bit extra for their products. Figs and leaves makes me happy and I can't wait to try more Lush.

Blush -Maybelline - Dream Mousse Blush in Peach Satin ] ] [DISCONTINUED]

This blush is real pretty - a lovely peachy/pink shade with a tiny amount of shimmer. I don't wear it all the time since it can make me break out and it probably does fade pretty quickly but the colour, price and the ease of the application keep me coming back for more.

Lipstick -MAC - Lady Danger

This product makes me so sad. I was incredibly excited when I purchased this lippy in the perfect red shade I had been searching for (more orangey than blue) but alas it is simply too drying on my lips. After trying to wear it every which way it still doesn't sit evenly and emphasis’s every crack and flake that I am plagued with. I so wish I could love this product but its not for me. Nice to see others getting so much satisfaction out of it 'cause it truly is a sensational colour.

Fragrances -Clarins - Par Amour Toujours

I love this fragrance so much, it's my all time favourite! Although it is quite sweet and fruity I don't find these elements too overpowering at all. I also adore the packaging, especially the love heart button on top. The only problem I have with it is its lack of staying power but apart from that no complaints here. Do yourself a favour and buy it now!
