This product doesn't have a nasty smell like many others and is easy to apply. The gloves aren't fitted though so they slide around on your hands unlike other, more use-full ones. The colour comes out well, I've tried different ones, mainly reds and a few browns. It's cheap and my 'safe-dye', I like to use garnier if I can although they're are some colours they don't have. All in all, it's a good product, I've never been to a salon to dye my hair so I can't compare to that. But I have no intention of swapping my garnier nutrisse for an expensive salon. It's everything you need in a DIY colour kit.
