i'm a big fan of all the bright eyes colors. for my green eyes i espcially like the plum. but all these are great. they don't cause racoon eyes and they don't clump. they are good for layering coats and adding drama.
Mascara -Almay - Bright Eyes Mascara in Black Plum

big fan. love this. and i'm a mascara whore. i've tried everyone and i am always on the hunt for purple tones (they make green eyes really stand out) which is rare in drugstore brands. this is a fantastic one. never causes racoon eyes! doesen't clump. can really layer to make eyes more or less dramatic. and well priced.
love these. the cheap version of juicy tubes (same formula). and great fruity smells. i used to use chanel glossimers but these are such a better value that i plan to stick w/ them.
i really like this stuff. it absorbs very well. doens't make me feel oily or break out. a very good, light weight but hydrating moisturizer. so far it's my favorite for daytime use. the one w/ spf is good too but if you have spf in your makeup, it feel like over kill (you can feel the spf in the one w/ it, it's not quite as light weight as this one)
Conditioner -L'Oreal - Nature's Therapy Mega Moisture Nurturing Creme

fantastic stuff. makes my hair so soft. and cheap -- my $10 tub has lasted my over a year (using it once or twice a week). same ingredients as the kerastase hair mask but for soooo much less money. i've seen little sample packs in drugstores so do youself a favor and at least give it a try cause it really is great. my only (slight) negative is that the tub is annoying, i'd rather have a tube. **** update, my best friend becky left me an upset message because she happened upon my reviews and i did not give her a shout out for being the one who turned me on to this great product. so BIG UPS to becky!!
i don't think this is anything special. in fact there a tons of less expensive conditioners that work much better. this isn't bad by any means but it is too pricey to be worth buy.
best night treatment EVER. i owe my looks to this stuff. it makes my skin glow. i wore foundation everyday for 15 yrs and now i might wear a tinted moisturizer during the week and use foundation on rare occasions. this completely changed my skin for the better. i barely break out anymore and people often comment on how great my skin is. my older brother started using this because he was so shocked by how my skin looks and now he's hooked. just a warning, i did break out more for the first couple of weeks. once that purging was over, it was worth it. i've tried other over the counter retinols and none have the effect this one does. this is worth the money and deserves all the praise it gets and then some.

nope, didn't work the way i think it should. i think my make up looks better w/o this.
Moisturizers -Kiehls - Lycopene Facial Moisturizing Lotion [DISCONTINUED]

heart is broken. just confirmed w/ kiehls that this has been discontinued. it was my favorite :( i don't know what to replace it with and i have maybe a months worth left in my last bottle.
clumps, causes racoon eyes as the day wears on.
one of the better inexpensive mascaras. doesn't clump and i don't end up w/ racoon eyes as the day goes on. i just wish they had a purple shade (great for green eyes). but the black/brown is good for blonds.
ugh, this did a number on my skin. i used it for about 4 days. it felt like a film over my skin which i think it was since my skin broke out in HUGE, red, cyst like pimples. just horrible. i'm now using it as hand cream to try to salvage my monetary loss.
Liquid -Laura Mercier - Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation

this is the best -- when take the time to prep my skin properly for it. i use retin-a so if i don't exfoliate my skin in the morning, it's flakey. then i moisturize and put this on. it's rare that i use it and don't have someone tell me how great my skin looks -- and if i reveal i have foundation on, they are shocked. combined w/ the moisturizer, i glow which i have never experinced before. but if i do not exfoliate properly and moisturize, i look like a freak, it cakes in the dry skin and makes me look like a fool. if you have naturally oily skin, this is probably perfect for you. anyone else needs to take the proper step and you'll be happy. haven't tried the oil-free one and probably won just cause i've got my system down on this one.
really like this mask. i think i've tried 90% of all masks on the market and this is one of my favorites. but i'd say the Queen Helene Vitamin C and Honey mask it the best. but this one is good too. more drying than the Vitamin C & Honey.
i was hoping this would be the 'one' for my sensitive skin. all other cleansers seem to dry it out too much. the problem i found w/ this is if i have makeup on, this cannot clean it off. so i found a bit of solution. i use a strong cleanser at night then use the cetaphil to wash my face in the mornings. i do like how gentle it is but when it comes to makeup, it's too gentle to work.
