BB Cream -MISSHA - M Perfect Cover BB Cream
rated 4 of 5

To preface, I have never before tried a BB cream. I purchased shade #23 from my local asian supermarket for about $25.00USD. Looking back I now have found that this is sold on Ebay and Amazon for MUCH cheaper! Silly me... Pros: - Very comftorable wear with just enough coverage - Keeps my very oily skin matte for most of the day (when set with powder) - Hygenic packaging - Applied with fingers, so I don't have to dirty up a brush! - High SPF Cons: - There is a deffinite grey cast on my NC25 skin. But this usually goes away in about an hour - Limited color selection of about 4 colors. - Must buy on-line or at some asian grocery stores (online is MUCH cheaper!) Would I buy this again? Heck yes, because on my lazy mornings where I dont want to try very hard, but want to look somewhat presentable, this does the trick because it is easy to apply and looks rather natural.

This dried out my hair so much! I have very oily hair, but when using this for 2 weeks, my ends felt like straw... no thank you!

Liquid -Rimmel - Stay Matte Foundation
rated 3 of 5

This foundation is very light, and maybe medium if you really pile it on. But I have a tendency to wear this on days when I just want something to keep my oily skin at bay for a few hours and to even out my skin tone. The color did not oxidize on me, but it also did not last past 6 hours.I do like the packaging, and the color is a close match for my NW25.

Mascara -Almay - One Coat Nourishing Mascara Triple Effect
rated 2 of 5
emilykollaja 1/18/2011 9:32:00 PM

The first week I had this, i really enjoyed it. It gave me long and thick lashes, which is what every girl wants, right? After using this for 2 weeks, the formula changed drasticly and became very thick and dry, causing the application to be so clumpy. I had to wipe off the brush every single time just to get a decent application.

Polishes -Wet 'n' Wild - Dreamy Poppy

Love this color! I have to thank MUA for my purchase because without seeing this on here, I would have never ever picked it up. Super cheap and great quality. This lasted about 4 days before even slightly chipping on me which is much better than some of my other high end polishes.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Woodwinked - veluxe pearl

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but make sure to try this on your eyelids in the store before you buy it. I am one of those who thought it looked great in the pan, but on me it is just this awful copper orange color. I have tried it a few different ways, and nothing seems to work. NW25 for reference.

Blush -E.L.F. - Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder
rated 4 of 5

I really love this duo. I own orgasm from NARS, and I think the blush on this ELF compact is far more pigmented. It may not be as finely milled as the NARS, but as long as you really blend well, then you will look just fine! I haven't tried NARS laguna, but the bronzer in this duo is quite dark, but once again use a light hand and blend! This looks great especially in the summer time.

Polishes -Rimmel - Lasting Finish Pro - Steel Grey
rated 5 of 5

LOVE this color! It is sometimes difficult to find edgier or matte colors in the drugstore amidst all the reds and pinks, but rimmel has done it! I love that this formula really does last quite a while on your nails before chipping. The brush is different and the first time I wasn't sure if I liked it or not, but now I find that it makes application a little faster. I might also add that the first coat is not so promising looking, but I think 2 coats looks beautiful and 3 gives you a very solid grey color. I would buy this color over and over again!

Scrubs -Queen Helene - Oatmeal N' Honey Natural Facial Scrub
rated 5 of 5
emilykollaja 12/1/2009 11:30:00 PM

I will buy this 'till I'm 100 years old and kicking it in my rocker. This is the best scrub I have ever used. The exfoliant is much finer than the popular St. Ives apricot scrub, which makes for a much gentler wash, and I even have facial eczema. The price is super cheap for the quality, and this doesn't over dry either. You really can't go wrong with this!

Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - Bamboo Blush Brush
rated 3 of 5

Wow I must really be the minority here. I have had such a hard time enjoying this brush. It is very densly packed with bristles, almost too much. With highend blushes such as Nars, you really need a light hand, and this brush is very difficult to pick up just a little bit of color. I always end up putting way too much on with this brush. On a positive note, I love that it is ecofriendly and relatively inexpensive.

Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)

How I wish this product would work for me! Obviously you all have read that the packaging sucks, and that is deffinitly true. But my true problem with this one is that it would give my eyelids a rash. No matter what shadow I would use, my eyelids only got irritated when I used this one. I prefer to use mac paint pots in neutral colors, and have had better luck with those... so beware all you sensitive gals out there!

Mascara -mark - Make It Big Lash Plumping Mascara
rated 4 of 5
emilykollaja 7/27/2009 1:43:00 PM

Like others have said, the brush is rather large, but nothing unmanageable! My favorite thing about this mascara was that it let my lashes look nice and soft. The only complaint I do have is that the color is not as black as I would like, and the formula is a little dry. But overall I do enjoy this mascara for every day looks

Mascara -NYX - NYX Doll Eye Mascara- Long Lash
rated 3 of 5
emilykollaja 7/5/2009 11:46:00 PM

Bought this mascara at my local ULTA after reading the great reviews on MUA... PROS: very black. great dupe for imju fiberwig which is a high end lengthening mascara. Does make lashes longer with "extending fibers" CONS: only available at ulta stores & online. the fibers in this mascara flake off and can be irritating to sensitive eyes.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous in Carbon Black
rated 1 of 5
emilykollaja 7/5/2009 11:41:00 PM

This is by far the worst mascara I have ever used. I purchased this from reading all the rave reviews, and had high hopes for this one! The formula is extremely thick, and the brush is nothing special. When i applied this it made all of my lashes club together into 4 awful spider legs. The brush held way to much product, and it would give me racoon eyes throughout the day. When washing this product off be prepared to see your face covered in black, because thats really all this mascara has going for it! Its really really black!

Blush -mark - Good Glowing Powder Blush -After Glow
rated 4 of 5

I own NARS orgasm, as well as this blush and to be honest.... I like this one better! despite price difference I honestly enjoy this blush more than orgasm. Same shade of peachy pink, this one has a little more shimmer in the pan, but doesn't show too much on the cheeks. Also, I feel this one shows up much better on my fair-medium skin. Also, considering this is about 7$, and NARS is 25$ this is very friendly on the college budget.
