Moisturizers -The Body Shop - Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion

This stuff smells bad, and not even like tea tree oil, I know that smell. It is EXTREMELY expensive for someone who is used to buying the cheap stuff at the drugstore, and you don't get a lot of product either. However, I LOVE what it is doing for my skin. A little drying but my face needs it, I have really oily skin. AND my acne is slowly clearing up with the mini kit of their tea tree line. I've only used for roughly 10 times and will come back to update in a few weeks!
I don't necessarily like the packaging because it is messy. I would like to have a pump on it. That's why I gave it 4 lippies. It is a little expensive for someone who is used to buying the cheap drugstore stuff, but it is worth it! My face has slowly started to clear up (after roughly 10 uses). I don't like the smell, smells woodsy and not really "tea tree oil". I plan to continue use and possibly buy the full size product! fingers crossed, this might be my HG face wash! Will update in a few weeks for more details!
Toners -The Body Shop - Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner

I bought this in the mini kit they have for the tea tree line. The scent isn't the best in the world, but a little bit goes a long way, which means less money spent which is always a plus! I've had the kit for just a few days now, but so far my acne is slowly clearing up and my face looks less irritated! I can't wait to see if this will get rid of my acne that I've had for 10 agonizing years! Will update in a few weeks from now to see how it has been going, but I hope this is my HG toner!!! :D
it is really hard to find a foundation to match my very fair skin (really bad acne/acne scars), even the maybelline matte mousse in their lightest color was too dark for me....I tried this in a desperate attempt for a summer foundation and 110 ivory was PERFECT! It made me look a LITTLE too uniform ashy look, but just a hint of blush makes it look flawless! Good coverage, very medium leaning towards full coverage, I don't wear concealer anymore accept under my eyes!!! This is my HG for summer, and possibly for winter too! :) The bottle does NOT come with a pump so it is a little messy, but i just put it on the back of my hand and then dab my flat top kabuki brush in it and stipple in sections on my face! :D I am so happy i decided to splurge on this $10 foundation (I paid $2 less because of a coupon I had :D) It does feel a bit like I am wearing makeup, but isn't that the point? Along with my acne and acne marks, i also have EXTREMELY oily skin, and this seemed to stay on my face better than Maybelline dream matte mousse with a little setting powder. It doesn't cover my acne completely, but my face looks more natural than it does without makeup lol...it gets rid of redness very well! Gosh, guys! I have just been freaking out about this foundation since i got it today...I used it in high school, but I don't think I knew how to apply it properly so I just tossed it. i don't know if I will be wearing this EVERYDAY, but only on the days that I leave the house. It also has a long shelf life which is great, 24 months! (prob means it has tons of preservatives in it, but if it doesn't irritate my skin, who cares?) I have seen some people complaining about the foundation being too hard to take off, but I use the Oil Cleansing Method (OCM) and it gets it off along with my waterproof mascara with ease! Gave it a 4 for price because I do wish it was cheaper, gave it a 4 for packaging because I wish it came with a pump (or have one where i can purchase).
I just want to give a background on my skin: fair/ very oily/combination acne prone SEVERAL post acne marks My dermatologist has me on clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide 5% to help with the acne; however, I do not think that acne is my main concern anymore. My post acne marks are FAR MORE WORSE than my occasional breakouts. I got a free sample of Dr. Weill's mega bright serum or something like that and when I woke up the next morning, I could tell a HUGE difference. Unfortunately I ran out and couldn't afford the $55 price tag. I did a search and decided to give this a try; and man, I hit the mother load! It wasn't as fast as the serum I tried, but slowly but surely all my post acne marks are disappearing and giving me a more even toned skin! i'm so excited because these are marks I have had for 5+ years! I have used this for a week, and I cannot wait to see the results after every single day I apply it! I apply it twice a day in replace of my old moisturizer. I am the kind of girl who would die if I left the house without foundation on, but today, I went to Target with a light powder and NO CONCEALER on and I was perfectly fine! Love this product and I HIGHLY recommend it before trying the expensive products! I didn't give it 5 stars because I HATE the packaging...I don't like the metal container and would prefer anything BUT that lol EDIT: I have stopped using this product because it hasn't done anything for my scars...It really was a waste of my money....every once in awhile I pull it out to just use as a moisturizer because it smells good, but that is it....It did NOTHING...so disappointed. I'm gonna be working at my Grandmother's house to get a little extra money to buy Dr. Andrew Weil's mega bright serum because that sample that I got was the ONLY thing that has worked on my skin so far... JUST DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON GARNIER....SAVE YOUR MONEY TO BUY THE MEGA BRIGHT SERUM...TRUST ME, YOU WILL THANK ME LATER
