Makeup Brushes -Unlisted Brand - Paris Presents Ultimate Face Set

Brightens eyes beautifully with it's perfect salmon shade, cutest packaging, feels lovely HOWEVER it creases like no other even with a setting powder and I personally do not like a bunch of product under my eyes, I try to use products that do not require me to set with powder. So I will not be repurchasing. =[
Primer/ Corrector -Urban Decay - All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray
emilydoll 11/13/2012 4:22:00 PM
This has replaced my Fix + and charged water because it keep my makeup matte, it makes my makeup stay all day and it comes out in the nicest lightest even mist. It has a very very light scent and I cannot go out ( with makeup on ) without this final step! =3
Okay. I am an avid user of Fix + and mAC charged waters until I discovered something else. But I will get to that after I tell you my thoughts on the product. If you have dry skin and you want that dewey alive look, you will love this. It makes my makeup stay on, it smells nice ( very light scent ) and it lasts a long time, for me. BUT after a certain point it might start sputtering pretty bad, to wear you just get droplets on your face. NO BUENO. That's not what I want. I want a clean fine mist that distributes evenly. And another point, if you want a matte look rather than a glowy dewey complexion, you might want to try something else. I personally have been using Urban Decay All Nighter spray over my mAC waters because of the spluttering which I CANNOT stand. I might, after I'm done with my All Night, just pour my mAC water into that bottle. AND I have been rocking the matte look for some time now. So it really depends on your preference of desired complexion AND you've been warned about possibly sputtering. Overall, good product but I prefer All Nighter.
Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)
emilydoll 11/13/2012 4:14:00 PM
This was my first ever eyeshadow primer and I'm still using it years later because it is that good. I've tried other ones and I always prefer this over them. It smooths out the area, makes my eyeshadows pop and keeps my eye makeup on all day. I also love the appearance of the packaging but it can be a little tricky to get any product on the wand at a certain point, HOWEVER, you do not need a lot, they made a sqweezy tube version and all you have to really do is bend the wand a little and you should be able to get just the right amount for both of your eyes. I don't really have an issues with it personally, it doesn't bother me. <3 && yes when I run out, and that take a long time, then I will probably repurchase it again and again.
i remember using this in highschool and nothing really compared to the way it really opened my eyes. now i am rating this from how i remember it, but i haven't used it in years so please keep that in mind. but i remember it giving me KAPOW! lashes. i knew it as the "mascara shaped like a football"
Bronzers -New York Color - Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder in Sunny 720
emilydoll 11/13/2012 4:05:00 PM
I like this product for what it is, but I will not be repurchasing because on my skin it looks a bit reddish. Which looks unnatural. But as far as the product's formulation and quality, it's pretty darn good. So I'm only taking off 1 lippie. I know that a lot of people like this and I am so glad for that because I think it's nice.

Polishes -Essie - Turquoise & Caicos (Resort 2010)
emilydoll 11/7/2012 9:55:00 AM
i think the hype around this product was based off the actual color, i bought this because everyone was crazzy about it and when i painted it on my nail i was shocked at how sheer it was, you really have to build it up, i'm not a build it up nail polish type of girl, i was really dissapointed in this polish and i never touch it...
this is my first too faced palette or shadow for that matter, this palette is good for everyday, however one of the shadows is a total flop as it is just chunky glitter, totally useless, but it is a decent palette with a really nice array of neutral shades, mattes and shimmers
i think this looked nice like twice, and then i was just done with using it. first off, i prefer a traditional brush brush not a spiky plastic one and i don't get the hype about it, but it's different for everyone i'm telling you, i feel like it went bad really quick as well, will no repurch. but it's not terrible, i just think it's hyped wayyy too much, it's nothing special.
this bronzer is the worst i've ever tried, it is super muddy and terrible. i tried to like it, tried to work it, it's crap, i'm sorry. maybe if you were SUPER SUPER SUPER SUPER tan. like unhealthily tan this might work. i don't mean to be harsh, but ... :| as usual, happy for those that this works good for. the packaging is cute, but the product inside makes me itch.
Scrubs -St. Ives - Apricot Scrub Blemish and Blackhead Control

i always have this in my shower, when my clarisonic runs out of battery, i just smooth this allover my face and neck and i feel so smooth and satisfied. it is nice and scrubby unlike some others i've tried that don't do my face justice.
Cleansers -Philosophy - Purity Made Simple (Real Purity Cleanser)
emilydoll 9/28/2012 7:40:00 AM
i love the smell & packaging, the smell is amazing and almost sentimental, but the thing that stopped me from wanting it is the ingredients. i believe this has parabens in it :[ it might have also broken me out, i don't remember. but it smells. so. good. like a little lemony cake.
