Moisturizers -StriVectin - TL Tightening Neck Cream

I thought this was a great product, and I used it a few times with no problems, and with noticeable improvement. Then, today, I put it on and a few hours afterwards I glanced in the mirror and saw that everywhere I had applied it was bright red - including streaks where I had and hadn't applied the product. :( I'm throwing it away promptly!
Styling Products -Garnier - Fructis Style Curl Sculpting Cream-Gel

I love this product! It is my go to curl product, and I have tried more than I care to count. It works especially well in the summer, I can just let my hair air dry after using this, and I get great curl and very little frizz. It never makes my hair crunchy, and while I don't mind paying a lot for products that work - this has a side benefit of being shockingly cheap! I've used it for over a year, and I don't have any problems with it.
Polishes -Creative Nail Design - Shellac UV Polish System - 14-Day Wear

I think application skill matters a lot with Shellac. I've had it done twice, at different salons. The first time, it looked ok, but I had small chips in the polish by the 4th day, and lifting on the sides later in the week, so I removed it. I recently had it done again, and I have yet to get any chipping or lifting - it looks just as perfect on day 12 as it did when I had it done (although I can tell that my nails have grown out some.) I'm definitely sold on Shellac - I just won't go back to that first salon!
I'm really pleased with this product. I've been using it for several months now, and I have definitely noticed that I have fewer lashes falling out. A few places where my lashes were patchy have really filled in. It is subtle, my lashes don't suddenly look like I'm wearing false lashes, but they have definitely filled out and seem healthier. I put it on at night and in the morning (when I remember) and haven't had any problems with stinging or with it not working as a mascara base.
It's just another dark blue nail polish. It has lovely turquoise microglitter hiding in the bottle, but the shimmer only appears on the nail in very bright light. I would have loved it if it had been more unique on the nail. There are so many great navy polishes out there in all price ranges, from Sally Hansen to Chanel, that if you already own a navy polish, there isn't a really good reason to buy this one. In addition, the application was gloopy and the brush was awkward. Givenchy missed the mark with this one.
I'm really disappointed in this. It does bubble beautifully on a pouf in the shower, LUSH always does a good job with that. The smell kills me though - I usually love LUSH's girly, candy scents, but this smells like cherry pepto-bismol and plastic. I can see where some smell fake banana too - it really has an overall unpleasant very fake, sweet smell. I wish I liked it more.
The best way to describe Life Guard is that it is a "life guard" red creme. It is a very warm red, bordering on orange and coral, depending on the light. It applied smoothly and was perfectly opaque in 2 coats. It is pretty bright, but not quite a neon color. Life Guard is an Ulta exclusive color for summer 2008. **edited - this polish has great lasting power - I made it to day 5 before seeing any significant tipwear, and still no chips. That's about as long as I can wear a polish without getting bored though, so I changed it at the 5 day point. pic -->
Once again - I really need a "maybe" choice on whether I would buy this again. Makes Men Blush is a lovely, pale pink, milky, sheer creme (there is some very slight shimmer visible in bright sunlight). It falls in the same family of colors as OPI Bubble Bath, although I might like this one a hair better. It isn't super unique or special, but it is pretty, applies perfectly and is semi-opaque in 3 coats. Makes Men Blush is from the Beyond Chic collection of sheers and pinks from Spring 2008.
Jam n Jelly is working on being my new favorite summer pink polish! It is a hot pink/fuchsia with a smooth shimmer background and a blue/purple flash in the sun. The application is flawless, and the polish is decently opaque in 2 coats. This one is not too bright for a summer mani and makes a great pedi color as well.
I am so torn on this product. I bought a travel-size tube at Ulta, which cost 17.00. I like that price, and the tube packaging better than the regular packaging. I loved how my face looked wearing this - it really smoothed and neutralized everything, even before putting on my foundation, and it made my foundation apply like a dream. I love the feel of this primer on my face. Unfortunately, after wearing it only a few times, I began breaking out. This is one of the few products I have ever worn that has done this to me. I stopped wearing the primer, and my face cleared up promptly. I have to pass on buying this again, as much as I loved it, I don't love it enough to endure breaking out. I should really probably give it a 3, but I can't express how much I liked how it looked and felt on my face - so I'm bumping it up a lippie.
Money, Honey is mostly a peachy nude on my lips - it looks pink in the tube, but is quite sheer on. The dazzleglass formula is seriously glittery - I don't think I had realized how much before buying them. So glittery, in fact, that I questioned whether it was too much glitter for a 32 year old to wear to work this morning. However, it is PRETTY - so the glitter won. Money, Honey doesn't add much color, and while I love the clear tube, I don't know if I love it enough to justify the price jump over other MAC lip glosses - so it loses a lippie for me.
Rose Among Thorns is from China Glaze's Ink collection, Spring 2008. It is a hot pink creme.. and I mean HOT! It borders on fluorescent in full sunlight. It is reasonably opaque, two coats gives solid coverage, but I'm a little weird about wanting absolute opacity, so for me three coats is perfect. It is a great spring/summer color, I got tons of comments on my first day wearing it on my tips. It might be too bright for many people on tips if you aren't adventurous, or if your nails have much length to them. I'm taking off one lippie because I have some chipping after one day, and I usually expect better from China Glaze. I might re-buy if I was in the market for a crazy hot pink again.
Top/Base Coats -Unlisted Brand - INM -- Northern Lights - Hologram Top Coat

This is such a great topcoat! I'm a fan of microglitter topcoats in general, and this is a winner! Superfine holographic glitter, dries instantly, shiny, I can't say enough good about it. I have the gold, can't wait to find the silver also - I would definitely buy again!
I'm thrilled I found this moisturizer. I was just prescribed differin, and need something to combat the dryness. It definitely helps my skin feel so much better - although I prefer it as a night-time only moisturizer. I used it today during the daytime, and I was reaaaaalllly shiny, even after I would blot. When I use it only at night I don't have any problems with oilyness during the daytime. I love this, especially for the price.
I Prefer Pink is your standard mid-to bright pink creme. It is an Ulta exclusive for Valentine's 2008, and honestly, it seems like it might be a dup of their Valentine's 2007 color, Hottie Pink. If you don't have a pink in this family, and you have an Ulta near you, you might want to pick this up, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it or pay big bucks to get it once its LE run is over. It does have good lasting power, and applies smoothly. It is also perfectly opaque in two coats.
