Moisturizers -Philosophy - Hope in a Jar - for all skin types

Finally! Sephora just opened here in Vancouver and some friends and I went to check it out. One of their employees was very helpful to educate me about my skin. She recommended I try Philosphy Hope in a Jar and the Purity Made Simple Cleanser. I have oily, acne, sensitive skin. I was worried about a moisturizer because of my skin type. However she told me I needed to use a good moisturizer to keep my skin from producing more oil! Made total sense to me. The first time I used it I did almost fall over when I put it on my face as the smell was not expected. It is very strong and potent and stayed with me all night! But I kept on using it. After the first week you are used to the smell and barely notice it at all. You use very little as it goes a long way and your skin just drinks it up. The creame has taken all the redness away from my skin. Cleared up my acne. I am still oily but have noticed I am less oily and have to blot less throughout the day. I just love it and the Philosophy line. I have been on the system for about three weeks. And I am going back to Sephora next week to pick up the micro delivery wash and the peel. And of course another bottle of Purity and Hope in a Jar. I never want to be without! Everyone try this prduct if you can. Please try and put up with the smell for the first week it does lessen and go away. You get used to it. The creame will do a lot for your skin even if you are oily like me :)
Shampoo -Ojon - Tawaka Rejuvenating Shampoo [DISCONTINUED]

I have been a fan of Ojon since they first appeared in Canada on TSC. I ordered many different kinds of Shampoos, Conditioners, and styling products. Some I liked more than others. After time Ojon evolved and they came out with Tawaka. The Tawaka cleanser is my #1 all time favorite shampoo. I use this with the conditioner and it makes my hair so soft and light. My hair feels clean and renewed like no other can. I remember my hairdresser giving me some KMS to try one day. I switched and did like what other traditional hair products did. But when I went back on my Ojon nothing could compare and vowed to never leave again! A more affordably way I found to purchase is extra large sizes. I purchase these for about $90 canadian. And they last me a good 30 months or so. The smell I love. It does not bother me at all. Not sure why there is so many complaints about that. But everyone should try Ojon. Tawaka is a bit more pricy then other Ojon shampoos and conditioners but it is well worth it. Buy the large pump sizes if you can find it. Or try the starter kit if your a first time user.
Treatments -Dr. Denese - Firming Facial Resurfacing Peel

I have oily acne skin and break out from time to time :( However since I have actually started getting serious about my skin care my face is clearing up nicely. I am a big fan of Dr. Denese. I use alot of her products and read her book and she is a big reason why my skin is clearing up today. This is definatly quite a strong peel/exfoliant like the last reviewer said. I put the product all over my face and neck. After a minute or so my face burned, quite a bit. I was tempted to wash it off but I resisted. The burning feeling actually left after 5min or so and seemed to get less the longer it was on. I have used it about three times now (once a week I do it). And the burning is always there however it does the job. It gets rid of everything and my face feels brand new. I really liked this product it definatly is a professional product with professional results for sure.
I had such high hopes for this to clear up my oily acne skin like some people had said it did and that the website and tv spokeperson said it would. However this product broke me out very badly :( I had used it for 5 days, then broke out heavily. I thought it may be my skin reacting to the product. So I continued use till my face was god awful looking. I quickly sent the product back to tsc for a full refund thankfully. Since I paid about $105 for this one bottle after tax and shipping. This product is trial an error. If you have the money and want to try this I would advise. It obviously works for alot of people. However with my skin it was a nightmare. If you can't afford it and have acne or oily skin I suggest you stay away from this!
Styling Products -Ojon - Shine and Protect Glossing Mist

I received this product in a kit. I have had it over a year now as I rarely use it. I don't see the product do much. It does make the hair shiny and glossy for a few moment when you spray it on as it is wet. But after it drys I find no effects with it. And the cost of it is to pricy to repurchase. Did not like this product :(
This product came with a showstopper from TSC. Not a product I really needed but came with a package. First off you need very, very little of this to work. Maybe the sixe of a dime or less. It expands in your hand to a white foam. Rub your hands together and put through towel dry hair. The product does tame hair like it says. It smells good but you have to like the smell of Ojon to appreciate it. Throughout the day I did not find I had any unruly hair or stray aways which is what the product is for. So I recommend it!
This is a great cleanser. The packaging is great with a tall blue bottle which is see through so you can tell how much product you have left. The cleanser is a clear gel like texture that spreads very easily and a little goes a long way. It really cleans very well. Leave my skin moisturised and not feeling dry or anything. I use it morning and night along with a few other Dr. Denese products and really see results with clear, clean, even tones skin. Really liking the Dr. Denese products that I have tried so far.
Skincare - Face -Dr. Denese - Microdermabrasion Cream

This is another great product from Dr. Denese. I use it twice a week in the shower. The feeling of the creame is quite soft and course as it uses pumice I beleive to exfoliate. The creame does leave the skin hydraded and soft. It really does a good job of exfoliating and a little goes a very long way. So a 2oz jar will last you forever. Using this and Dr. Denese firming facial pads will be enough to keep your skin exfoliated which is key to keeping your skin clear. Great product!
Skincare - Face -Dr. Denese - Exfoliating Facial Firming Pads

This is my first review of a product. But I had to let everyone know how awesome Dr. Denese products have been for my skin. I have only been using these pads for less then two weeks now and they have done more for my problematic, acne, oily skin than any others. I at first was using her derma clean cleasner, toner, the pads, and some other creams and serums. And I broke out terribly. After talking with the Dr. Denese people I took the other products out of my routine and now after two weeks my skin has cleared up, still a bit on the oily side. But now that I have gotten used to the pads I am going to start using the morning and night which should help with my oily skin. I like the package, except the pads are sometimes hard to seperate. But they are loaded with product. I am able to do my whole face a few times over with product left over. At first they did sting quite a bit. But going on my second week now I barely feel it. I ordered the day creame and cellular renewal serum with the advise from Dr. Denese. Using this routine is for oily/acne prone skin. So I cannot wait to get the other products and get my skin in good shape. Everyone I beleive should try her products at least these facial pads they do work. Just like she says. And her products are not overly expensive which I like aswell, and they work and do what she says. Which is the first time that has ever happened with all the countless other products I have used.
