I wet my face before using this scrub and massage it on my face gently. The beads are quite fine, compared to the other scrubs out there. It's easy to smooth and not tough on the skin. After rinse it off, I would use a really mild cleanser to wash my face again. I feel my skin so soft and clean. Also, it doesn't dry out my skin, which is a big plus.
Lip Treatments -SoftLips - Cherry Lip Protectant/Sunscreen SPF20

Love the cherry scent and the tingling/cooling effect. However, it's not moisturizing enough for dry winter days and it wears out really quickly even without drinking or eating. But I think it works fine for warmer days like in spring and summer as it has SPF and my lips are not as chapped and dry as in winter. It's an okay chapstick. I probably won't buy it again as there are so many other products out there to try.
Love this SPF lotion. Unlike some other SPF moisturizers, it's not greasy at all. In this way, I can make sure that I use enough of it to get enough protection. I have sensitive skin, and this lotion never breaks me out or irritates my skin. I just finished the sample, and I'm gonna order the full size.
Treatments -Burt's Bees - Natural Acne Solutions - Targeted Spot Treatment

I usually use tea tree oil as spot treatment. As I am running out of it, I went to get this spot treatment. I've used it for several times now, and I've found that it is very effective for the pimples that are coming out, i.e., not fully formed yet. Just one night and they fade out. I haven't tried it on big acnes yet because I don't have any right now. However, if you have wound from squeezing pimples or blackheads, don't use it right away as it stings so much that you will cry. One lippie off because it doesn't have very a pleasant smell. Tea tree oil smells a lot nicer. I've been using the acne solutions lotion and this spot treatment for three days, and I'm really happy with the result. My skin is smoother and pores are smaller. I'll continue using them.
Cleansers -Neutrogena - Oil-Free Acne Wash redness soothing cream cleanser
ellyyang 4/29/2010 1:38:00 PM
When it says cream cleanser, I thought it would be a creamy cleanser that gives you thick foam. But no no no. It doesn't foam up. So I think okay maybe it can be used as a makeup remover. Negative again. I give it 2 lippies because it gives the tingling feeling, which is cooling and soothing, and it smells nice. I notice that it indeed calms down the redness a bit. However, I just don't trust the cream as it seems to leave residue on my face after washed off, so that I need to use another foaming cleanser again after that.
Moisturizers -Burt's Bees - Natural Acne Solutions - Daily Moisturizing Lotion

This lotion is light yet moisturizing. It keeps my skin from breakouts. It feels a little bit sticky when first put on, but the stickness will be gone after a while. I wouldn't recommand it for morning use if you need to put on a SPF moisturizer and makeups because it would feel a little bit heavy and make your skin shiney in a couple of hours.
It's easy to use. However, I think it may be too harsh on sensitive and dry skin. Also, the result is not forever-lasting. Just remember to use non-alchohol toner right after you peel it off to really shrink the pores. Otherwise, pores would just get bigger.
Good price and nice quality. I've been using mine for about three years now with proper regular cleaning. They are soft and easy to work with. You can define your lash line and crease, smudge, highlight just with these two brushes. I definitely recommand them.
I love St.Ives products. I'm on my third bottle of this scrub. The smell is refreshing, and the scrub is gentle, too. It leaves my skin clean, supple, and brighter looking. Also, the price is lovely.
It surely smells great. For the first two times using it, my hair was smooth and shiny, So, I thought this shampoo is the answer. But after several washes, my hair started to feel dry at ends, and I had to use the other leave-in conditioner to maintain the health of my hair. I think it's kind of pricey for such a small bottle. I don't buy it anymore after the first bottle even though it's on sale.
I bought this hoping to make a big surgery scar on my shoulder disappear. It doesn't do the job well, but it doesn't do any harm, either. After reading the reviews here, it seems to work a lot better on stretch marks, not surgery scars.
Treatments -Estee Lauder - Advanced Night Repair (Serum)

My skin changed drammatically when I turned 26. It went from oily/combination to very dry. My pores are more visible around my nose and on the forehead. My mom recommanded this product to me. At first, I really doubted it because I think this product is more suitable for a lot maturer skin. I was just afraid that it would give me breakouts. My mom really wanted me to give it a try so that she bought it for me. After trying it for the first time, I have to say now I cannot live without it anymore. Unlike the other serums, it is light yet gives the skin just enough hydration. It can be applied alone (like in summer) or under a moisturizer (like in winter). Now I'm almost done with the first bottle, and I'm definitely going to continue using it. The price may be a little bit high, but I think it's worth the money as this is the very product that works.
Blush -Clinique - Sheer Powder Blusher in Lucky Clover
ellyyang 6/22/2009 3:37:00 PM
Lucky Clover is such a gorgeous color. It gives me a healthy glow on my cheeks. It's sheer so that it can be built on. The texture is very fine, and it is long lasting even on a Texas melting hot summer day. It's a perfect shade for every day. Love it!
I love Boots Expert Anti-Blemish serum, and I'm on my third bottle now. So, I think the toner must be good, too. And I'm telling you that I really love it. It's gentle but effective. It doesn't contain the acne medication so that it doesn't dry my skin out like those medicated toner does. In fact, my skin feels refreshing and moisturized. The price is good and the bottle is big. I'll definitely repurchase it. So far, I'm really impressed with the Boots Expert Anti-Blemish line. I'll go try out the other products.
I recieved this in a swap. The color is Capucine. I kind of like it. It's more glossy than lipstick, but thicker than lip gloss (thus stays longer than lip gloss). Capucine is a little bit too red on me, but it works out perfectly if I top it with a nude lip gloss. Actually, it tingles a tiny little bit. So, I think it also plumps the lips. I only give four lippies because it comes in a jar and it's a little bit inconvenient for touching up.
