Skincare - Face -Jane Iredale - Pom Mist Hydration Spray

love this stuff. I have mild rosacea and sensitive skin. Am sensitive to smells, but like this one a lot (love the D20 smell but this is better for my skin per a JI rep). I mostly use it to set JI mineral makeup but sometimes also before moisturizer in place of toner or at night before treatment/no moisturizer. I haven't noticed any negative effects from dropping suki toner from my regimen, but not sure if this is technically a toner (they don't list it as such on their site). Wish this wasn't so pricey and wish it was available in larger size like the d20, which is avail in a large "refill" bottle. JI customer service is awesome; hoping they'll respond to customer requests for the larger size. Packaging: the spray and bottle are great - super fine sprayer, recyclable unbreakable aluminum bottle, but the cap always gets a crack, and/or doesn't stay on in transit.

Primer/ Corrector -Jane Iredale - smooth Affair Facial Primer & Brightener

this definitely does what they say - makes bb cream go on more easily and smoothly. I use much less bb cream when this is applied first. smells amazing. It is great used around eyes before applying bb cream - keeps the bb cream from drying eye area and makes it go on smoothly. I might buy again, still not sure. Feels great as its applied, does leave a nice smooth finish, but not sure it's something I need - might be redundant for me. I think in summer when I'm using lighter serums it may be more neccessary. I've seen no pore shrinkage or smoothing of lines or my mildly lumpy rosacea areas. It may keep the bb cream or powder in place longer. If they offered a travel size I'd say definitely try it but it's too pricey at full size just to try. sorry, i'll have to do a more scientific trial and update this.

Natural physical sunscreen with very high % zinc. White cast fades in a few minutes. This is the least sticky, most wearable of all the image sunscreens. Effective and moisturizing so don't need a separate moisturizer which helps. Still hoping for something with a lighter feel but no nano particles. If that's not possible then this is the best option IMHO. Doesn't sting eyes. Has anti-aging ingredients. I've been using devita for a couple of years, but have a couple issues with it so looking for alternative.

Gentle enzyme exfoliation for sensitive skin. Doesn't irritate eye area or rosacea. Even if I leave it on longer than the reco'd time. Nice. Can be too gentle. My aesthetician also said use over ageless total resurface and amazing result for that day. Much younger friend (about half my age) asked what I did and where she could get some. Can't do too often on sensitive skin tho.

Concealers -Jane Iredale - Disappear

I like the tube, but the applicator is useless. Until I read previous review with application tips, I thought the product was useless too. As a test, I covered a freckle on the tip of my nose and it is now invisible with no sign of the makeup. For me, it is too drying to use around eyes or on my chin, but on small areas it works really well. However, it was not good for covering a scar. It did even the color, but to my eyes that accentuated the texture of the scar. I rarely use it. Prefer something faster and easier but does do the job if u have something in need of total coverage.

Concealers -Jane Iredale - Active Light Under Eye Concealer

love this. I have medium(to light dep on time of year) shade skin and use #5 (2nd darkest shade of this) then lightly dust with my mineral powder to match the color to rest of face. this is amazing for dark circles. Really amazing. I could be on 3 hours of sleep and not look it, thanks to this. because of the lightness of shades, have to be careful applying or could end up looking racoon-y. I've had no issues with the packaging, I like the little brush applicator - no fingers needed; it travels well - compact, no leaking.

Powder -Jane Iredale - Pure Pressed Base

I went without makeup for years because even tho I need to cover redness, all foundations created issues that were worse than just leaving the redness. This is the only one I have ever used that 1) covers rosacea redness on t-zone 2) doesn't settle into lines 3) doesn't cake 4) doesn't flake/dry out 5) doesn't transfer once set. I have also used origins liquid which is nice, but transfer is a huge problem and coverage is much thicker/heavier. I apply with flocked sponge to red areas, then lighter app with their handi brush to rest of face, neck. spritz with d20. i generally find it too drying to use as under eye concealer, but otherwise it's perfection. It is best when applied on top of a light moisturizer (dream tint on top of your usual stuff) or wait for moisturizer to soak in for a few minutes before applying, otherwise it could stick to moisturizer and get cakey.

awesome stuff. Since it is expensive, here's how I use it to make it last. I wash my face with a gentle cleanser then put this on just the problem areas. Or I do it vice versa before getting in the shower. I leave it on past the 15 mins routinely as I do work or chores with no ill effects. the overnight spot treatment definitely shrinks blemishes by morning. I've had no problems with the pump - yes, I've had some product dry just in the opening, but a gentle press and it opens right up. I'm not sure what a better container would be. I like that I can measure out small fairly precise amounts.

Moisturizers -Sukí - Complexion Brightening Cream

This is the only product that reduced my rosacea redness. I didn't even know I had broken capillaires underneath the red until I used this. Not necc a bonus, but it's a lot easier to cover a few capillaires than a majority red face. I've really tried a lot of products before this with absolutely no effect. I tried stopping after one bottle and quickly noticed the difference as the redness started to return. I'm alternating this with suki balancing day due to the combo nature of my skin. I think the balancing helps smooth more than this.

I tried this out in the travel size and just got my regular size one. Use this on my rosacea areas - basically t-zone. My skin tends toward dry, but this does not dry my skin at all. I do however use a light sunscreen over top of everything (devita solar face). When I first switched from Intensive Nourishing Cream to this, I found the rosacea areas to be much smoother. I'll update as I get further in the bottle, but it does seem to be reducing the various bumps I usually have on and near the rosacea.

Treatments -Dr. Hauschka - Neem Hair Lotion

I've been using this for 10 years, possibly more. I had a section of hair at my temples that was finer, curlier and dryer than the rest of my head. This is what fixed it. (and I tried everything previously). Bonus is that whenever I start to get itchy scalp (usually from hair coloring), one use clears that right up. I used to think I needed more, since it's so light, it felt like it wasn't being spread throughout my scalp evenly - I put one drop via the shaker top on the top middle of my part and one each on the aforementioned problem areas, massage that in, then one (or two) drops at nape and spread that to the bottom back half of my head.
