Treatments -TRESemme - Thermal Recovery

I wanted something to help heal my damaged, heat fried hair. This was not it. It's really cheap, so that's good, but it didn't do anything better than a regular conditioner. May be good if your hair isn't heat damaged, but doesn't that defeat the object?

Shampoo -TRESemme - Thermal Recovery

I was looking around the house for something to help my absolutely FRIED, heat damaged hair and came across this. I remember having used it a while ago, but couldn't remember what it was like, so I gave it another go with the corresponding mask. The first time I used it, when I dried and straightened my hair, my hair was CRISPY. I figured I hadn't cleansed throughly enough and put it down to left over hair spray. So I tried it the next day, and oh my GOD. I felt it SUCKING the moisture right out of my hair and drying it out like crazy! It was all matted and squeaky! I really dislike this! Thank goodness for the conditioning mask that I used afterwards to help get rid of the knots, tangles and dryness this shampoo left! I also, it felt crispy again whilst wet! Never again.

Styling Products -Beyond The Zone - Turn Up the Heat

I have been straightening my hair for YEARS, it's naturally curly, but not nice curly (I am mixed race - chinese, black, caucasian) and I find my hair much easier to handle if it's straightened. I have tried numerous heat protectants - tresemme, lee stafford, tony and guy, kerastase, morrocanoil, wella high hair - to name but a few! This one is by far the best one I have used! I can understand that on some thinner/finer hair types it has the potential to be greasy and far too heavy - but it's a good texture/consistency for my unruly FRIED, DAMAGED (bleached and dyed numerous times!) hair. Before applying this, I applied Get 'N Creamed all over and sprayed all over (maybe 5 sprays). I made sure I sprayed from a decent distance as not to end up greasy! Then, when it was dry, I split my hair into 2 sections - lower and upper. On the lower half I sprayed 2 spritzes and on the upper half, 3. I then flat ironed. I found my hair easy to straighten - no pulling or snagging! And I also didnt find it greasy at all. My hair felt nice and moisturised and extremely SOFT AND SHINY FOR ONCE! My hair was also much easier to straighten and took much less time! Loving this product so far, so thumbs up! I also love the funky packaging and sweet smell (doesn't linger!) So far, so great. I will update if anything changes!

Styling Products -Beyond The Zone - Get N Creamed [DISCONTINUED]

I was browsing my local Sally's and this jumped out at me due to the packaging and the fact that it was 3 for 2. So I purchased this, Turn up the heat and something for my boyfriend. Firstly, I heard that this is similar to Fekkai's Glossing Cream so I had to try it, as I was not willing to pay that amount of money for something that I wasn't sure actually works! My hair is very dry and damaged due to flat ironing every day and blowdrying + flat ironing everytime I wash (approx 3/4 times a week). It has also been bleached and dyed to hell! I applied a dollop of this to my hair and then sprayed on the Turn up the heat and combed through thorougly. This stuff is really nice and creamy and I find it very moisturing. It made my hair smooth and shiny which I haven't been able to achieve in a long time since my hair IS FRIED. It also made it straighter! This product is the perfect consistency - not too light and not too heavy. I really do love this product so far and it's pretty cheap too and almost always on offer! I love this so far, and will update if anything changes/it doesn't hold up. For now, it's a KEEPER!

I tried the 'take the heat' version of this product today as my hair is absolutely FRIED from heat, straw-like and rough. I am mixed race (black, chinese, caucasian). I use the straighteners on a daily basis on a heat setting of 210-230 degrees c! Ouch! Not to mention the fact that it has been bleached and dyed NUMEROUS times. I couldn't get my hair soft or shiny like it used to be. I was at my wit's end! I came across this when I was browsing for something in my local supermarket. I had been using masks previously, such as kerastase oleo-relax slim, but it only seemed to make my hair heavy and coated, and tresemme thermal recovery didn't appear to do anything. High end conditioners didn't seem to be working so I picked up this based on positive reviews. I have only used this once, but it seems VERY moisturising and has made my hair SOFT, shiny and STRAIGHT! I hadn't been able to get it perfectly straight for a while due to the fact that it was brittle and fried It has also minimised the signs of heat damage A LOT. VERY PLEASED WITH THIS. It's early days but it seems like this is going to be a great moisturising treatment to alternate with a protein treatment. BIG THUMBS UP FOR this. Dirt cheap, readily available. Will update if anything changes/if it doesn't hold up well, but for now, LOVE IT!
