BB Cream -Christian Dior - Diorskin Nude BB Creme

Tried this on the back of my hand in store and loved it. Bought it. Went home and put on my face and my heart sank. Of all the BB creams I have this one was the heaviest and driest. I thought BB creams were meant to look natural and sheer? Not this one. Reminded me very much of the By Terry face glow. Highlighted all my pores and dry patches. Wish I could return it.

One of the best if not THE best lip balm I've used & I've used la mer, by terry, christian dior rose balm, laura mercier dear Lord the list goes on. No matter how badly split and dry my lips are, this always restores them beautifully. When I put it on at night, in the morning my lips do feel plumper and not dry at all. I find it a little heavy for under lipstick but use it then blot and apply lipstick so win win situation really. Highly recommended.

Mascara -Burberry - Beauty Effortless

I was tricked in to buying this when what I really wanted was the eyeshadows. Don't be fooled by this ladies - it really is a terrible mascara. Did nothing for my lashes. Doesn't hold the curl or thicken or lengthen. Worst of all it is THE flakiest mascara I have ever used.

Treatments -Shu Uemura - Essence Absolue

I had been using moroccanoil and seriously didn't get the hype about it. It did nothing for my hair. When I asked the SA at Shu to recommend one thing from the hair section he said to get the Essence Absolu. I honestly cannot say how great my hair looks since using this. I have fine long frizz prone hair that is easily weighed down and can look greasy with even a little product. This stuff banishes frizz, doesn't weigh hair down, smells light and a little goes a long way! I only use this pre blowdrying and a little after on the ends. Very pricey but so worth it. Transformed my hair into glossy bouncy smooth tresses. Love it.

Foundations -By Terry - Hyaluronic Face Glow

So I bought this without actually needing. I am a huge fan of the Hyaluronic eye primer and that alone sold it for me. I found this to be way too thick in consistency and quite drying once on the skin. It showed up every dry patch and flakiness. Again, the super strong fragrance gives me a headache. I think they could have done really well with this product but as it stands it's trying to do too many things and failing on all. If you're reading this Terry - a little tweaking this eg- making it thinner and sheerer, get rid of the perfume and you could be on to something...

I am really surprised by this product. I've been dabbling with serums for a while now. I started off with Estee Lauders night repair concentrate, then moved on to Lancome Genefique Youth Activator - then got roped in to buying Lancome Visionnaire... Out of all these serums - this one worked for me. I have combo skin with visible pores. This visibly reduced the size of my pores without covering or filling like I found Visionnaire seemed to do. It doesn't really hydrate that well but I certainly don't need as much moisturiser as I did before. I'm almost to the bottom of the bottle with this and will buy again. My skin is overall more even and refined but the thing I noticed most is its effect on my pores. Very pleased.

Mascara -Estee Lauder - Sumptuous Extreme

Another impulse buy. I hadn't used the original Sumptuous mascara but fancied a change from my Chantecaille. I bought this on the spot simply because I liked the marketing. I was so surprised by this. My lashes had taken a battering recently and were looking less than their usual selves ie- shedding, breaking lack of gloss.. This transformed them instantly. I didn't even bother wiping off excess on first use and not only did it give volume and length, my lashes looked so natural and felt light, almost like I wasn't wearing anything. A few hours later I applied a second coat - still didn't clump and gave more length. I am loving this mascara - strongly recommended!!!!

Sunscreen -Becca - Mineral SPF 30+ Primer

This is far too thick for my liking and I wouldn't consider it to be a primer at all. I need a moisturiser of some sort before this as it is far too drying on my combination skin. I also wouldn't use cream or liquid foundation over this as I can imagine it would look terrible. I do go over some area's with my MAC mineralize skin finish and it sits well on top. Have to say that I love the smell of this. It does smell like marshmallows and summer. I would urge those that are thinking of buying it as a primer to be weary. They should market it as sunscreen. Not primer.

Mascara -Chantecaille - Faux Cils Mascara

I've had this a while and it is only now I'm appreciating it. When I first got it it was too watery for my liking but a few months down the line the consistency has thickened a little and it does a fabulous job. I find this lengthens more than any other mascara I have used. It doesn't really thicken but then I have yet to find a mascara that thickens my lashes without clumping. I have long straight lashes and after curling them with my shu curlers and applying this it looks like I am wearing false eyelashes. It is expensive and I do wipe off a lot of product before applying so on the one hand I'm wasting a lot of product but then it does give fabulous results. Would buy again.

I have been using this for about 2 weeks. It is fairly new - I happened to come across it by chance. This is probably the most effective primer I have ever used and I have used many.I have combination skin, pores on nose and forehead, gets oily on t-zone within an hour of applying foundation (which I rarely use). The beauty of this product is it does everything I want a "primer'" to do and that also means not needing a layer of foundation after. This primer evens out my skin tone as it comes out of the tube tinted. It gives luminosity covers pores, doesn't feel thick or greasy and it has an spf!

Eye Primer -BeneFit Cosmetics - Stay Don't Stray

The product itself is actually quite good. I cannot live without concealer as I have dark hollows, so this does in fact help my concealer look better and last longer. My lids do get oily and again, it does help with with creasing. Now for the reason why I will not buy this again - the stupid annoying pump that not only dispenses out enough for 12 people but on many occasion it splurts out with such force that I have got it on my clothes, hair and in my eyes. Won't be buying again.

Eyeliner -Rimmel - Flash Liner

Had to write a review for this because it is just fabulous!!! I have most of the high end liners in gel/cake/liquid and pencil form and although the effects differ, this one has got to be one of my favourites. I use this to tight line my upper inner lid and not only is the nib super fine like a felt tip, it doesn't scratch or tickle when I apply. Another key point for me is it dries so quickly that there is no chance of smudging if you blink or if your eyes water. I love this product. It's a great price. My lashes look really thick because of the tiny nib, I can dot between each lash at the roots and it stays put!!!! Love it.

Brows -Shiseido - Natural Eyebrow Pencil in Natural Black

I am always looking for a natural looking brow pencil to fill in area's of my thick dark brows. I steer clear of blacks and even dark browns are way to harsh and fake looking. When I came across this I was interested because of the grey which I find looks really natural with dark brows. It fill's brows in but you can't see the pencil it just looks right. The weird brush thing at the end is useless, I much prefer a mascara wand to brush through after so that would be my only complaint - and I find myself having to sharpen regularly resulting in me getting through the pencil in record time.

This is a super cute little pot of salmon pink balm. I wouldn't say it's amazing but it is pretty good. It isn't gloopy and it doesn't leave a glossy finish on the lips either (which I would hate) It doesn't have a colour at all once it's on the lips . It has a delicate rose scent and when applied it's more of a satin finish. The pot itself is, well all the previous reviewers have described it enough I think :))

Blush -MAC - The Perfect Cheek

This is a super neutral blush. I thought it was going to be too muddy in the pan but when I put it on it gives the most beautiful definition. I've been using it daily since I bought it. I have dark hair and eyes and pale skin that tends to get rosier as the day goes so this compliments the redness. As previous reviewers mention its hard to overdo this no matter how heavy handed you are. A great everyday/all occasion blush to suit all skin tones.
