New HG concealer for under eye circles... finally!! I was using this wrong for so long and dismissed it as just another failed attempt at covering my circles. However I busted it out again recently but altered the way I used it. Before, I just used the concealer without any primer or powder to set it. Now, I use it like this: First I use my Too Faced primer, then whichever foundation I happen to be using (I rotate between 3-4), then a little tiny bit of UDPP Eden on my undereyes, then MAC Pro Longwear concealer on my undereyes, again just a smidge, applied and blended with fingers. Then after the rest of my makeup is done I powder my face with MUFE HD powder. My circles are completely covered. I kept checking during my shift at work to see if I needed to re-apply and I didn't... and when I came home after 8 hours, my makeup still looked flawless!
Lips -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter in Sugar Frosting

Love the color but wish it were more opaque. I do love the lip butters, but this one seemed to have half the staying power as my others (Red Velvet & Peach Parfait). Not a huge fan... but I do like how this looks paired on top of a matte light pink lipstick.
Primer/ Corrector -Revlon - PhotoReady Perfecting Primer (color 001)

So I was perusing the cosmetics aisle at Rite-Aid after not having been to the drugstore for about two months. There were plenty of new products I saw, but this one immediately made me throw it in my basket and never look back. I'd been looking for a good, affordable primer to try out, and was so excited to finally find one in a drugstore that I could try. And let me tell you... THIS STUFF IS THE TRUTH. It has a slight, non-offensive scent, glides over your face and makes it baby's butt smooth and somewhat satiny. My makeup honestly looked SO much better than it had without it (for reference I use Revlon PhotoReady foundation). And get this... I went out and ended up falling asleep in my makeup (big no-no... I know), and when I woke up and looked in the mirror my makeup still looked great! Guys, don't take my word for it, you need to try this product. My makeup routine has been changed forever.
Oh finally, this is the perfect pinky - orange shade I've been looking for! It's a lot more orange than pink, but it's not straight up orange. This is definitely the color I've been looking for. It's a perfect, happy, summery color and is great for pedicures. I paid $5.49 which is not a bad price at all. The polish itself is really really thick and opaque, you could go with one coat and be done. The brush is really fat and triangular and kind of weirdly stiff. It takes some getting used to, but I kinda like it. The bottle is also a weird triangular shape, wide at the bottom and narrow at the top, and it makes me feel like I'm getting less product for my money. But, oh well. I love this color and will definitely purchase it again!
LOVE this color! Gorgeous summery coral pink. Opaque in two coats but you definitely need a top coat cause it has sort of a weird finish if you don't use one... not really sure how to explain it, I guess it looks kind of dull? A coat of Seche Vite easily fixes that for me, though. Great for manis and pedis and only about $2. Love it!!
Lip Treatments -Cover Girl - NatureLuxe lip balm in Marble

I wanted to like this product so badly. The packaging is really cute and the color looked great in the tube, and the smell was nice, but seriously this is the sheerest lip color I've ever used. I wanted a nicer payoff for what I paid for. The color is so pretty! But you don't get that at all. It might as well be a clear balm. Definitely won't repurchase, very disappointed :(
Yup, finally found my HG foundation, in 004 Nude. I could not be happier with this foundation. Just wore it today to a ten hour orientation at my new job, and when I got home my makeup still looked flawless. I don't notice the glitter that some people mention at all. It's a little pricey for a drugstore brand, at around $15, but it's honestly worth it and I wouldn't think twice about picking up another bottle once I start running low. DEFINITELY recommended!
I must be missing something here. I don't understand all the great reviews. This mascara hardly shows up on my lashes and when it does, it just clumps them like crazy and makes them look very spidery. Maybe I was sold an expired bottle or something? I don't know, but for whatever reason, this was horrible. The packaging is an awful metallic purple... but the brush looked so promising, Not purchasing again.

Looked so cute in the bottle... but on lips, it looks like a white - silver metallic mess. This is horrible. Don't even bother.
Fragrances -Dove - Go Fresh Body Mist -- Energizing Grapefruit & Lemongrass Scent

LOVE this scent! It's so happy and uplifting. I wish there were a perfume version, something longer lasting, because I would definitely buy it. Whenever I pull it out of my bag and touch up, people comment about how good I smell. Definite repurchase and it's only like $5.
This color is beautiful in the bottle, but it looks not quite right on my NC25 skin. For fairer girls, this would look great. I still wear in anyway because I just really like the color, and I wear it when I cut my nails short. Nice neutral shade.
I received this little palette as a gift from my aunt. It's a beautiful set of neutrals with six shadows and two concealers, and it's lasted me a little over eight months now. The eyeshadows are pigmented, beautiful and have great staying power, but I'm not a huge fan of the concealers so I don't ever use them. The lightest gold shadow is really, really glittery and there's a lot of fallout when you apply it if you're not careful. I lost the brush that came with it but I do remember it was good quality. I'll definitely buy this again if I don't end up buying the Naked palette!
Polishes -New York Color - Long Wearing Nail Enamel - Pink Promenade Creme 109

LOVE the color, looks great with my skin tone and really pops. Two coats leaves a beautiful finish. But this stuff chips like CRAZY. Maybe it's because I don't use a base / top coat? I never do with any polish I use. The quality is what you'd expect for a dollar, but I like the color so much, it's worth it.
