Lip Treatments -Alba Botanica - Terra Tints - Blaze SPF18

This was one of the few purchases I've made without consulting MUA first, but fortunately it was a success! I'm not sure how it would work for seriously chapped lips, but it works well for me and the color is great. Applies well without a mirror. Blaze is a pretty mulberry color, and I'd love to try the rest. At $2.00 a pop, no one will be breaking the bank.

Cleansers -Nivea - Gentle Moisturizing Cleanser

Another bad buy for me as I did NOT consult with MUA. Crap. It sounded good - I have sensitive dry skin, so 'gentle' and 'moisturizing' seemed just right. Yes, it is moisturizing, and maybe it is gentle, but it doesn't seem cleansing at all. It really feels like I'm taking regular lotion, slathering it on my face, and then rinsing. No clean feeling. And my skin has been bad since I've started using this. I can't be positive it is from using this, but it isn't a good sign either. Also, it really smells like sunscreen. ick. Sorry, Nivea.

Lotions/ Creams -Alba Botanica - very emollient hand lotion

I use this lotion every night before bed on my hands and it helps to keep my eczema under control. I've tried many other hyped hand lotions and they didn't cut it. I thought it was a bit expensive, but you get a good amount so it takes a while to use up.

Fragrances -Fresh - Sugar Blossom Eau de Parfum

I think I had a very similar reaction to this fragrance as a lot of other girls here. At first spritz the lemon was shocking! and yes, it was somewhat artificial smelling to me. But then the drydown was so nice. I tried again (i have a sample) and the lemon wasn't nearly so shocking to me, and it faded quickly to the lovely scent. it lasts pretty well on me. I don't know how much it costs because I just have the sample, but since it is Fresh it is probably an arm and a leg. oh and this is one of the few fragrances that doesn't make me sneeze.

Lotions/ Creams -L'Occitane - 20% Shea Butter Hand Cream

I really wanted to love this. I like its consistency, and I think it has a pleasant powdery scent. It just doesn't moisturize enough for me. My hands have been excessively dry and I've been trying numerous moisturizers. I've had better luck with Burt's Bees Almond hand cream and The Body Shops mango body butter, for serious moisturizing.

Eye Shadow -Fresh - Cascada

This eye shadow is a pretty lilac/gray with a subtle shimmer. Fresh has great quality eye shadow -- fabulous texture and very long lasting. Color looks the same on your lids as it does in the pan.

Eye Shadow -Fresh - Chanterelle

I just love Fresh. Their eye shadows are terrific - beautiful colors, great quality, and long lasting. Chanterelle is a lovely shimmery taupe, similar to Laura Mercier's Topaz. A great neutral shade to have. I will get tons of use out of it. (ppp red hair/blue eyes)

Darn it. I am quite disappointed in this shade. It just doesn't look good on me. I'm sure it can look great on some people, but alas not me. For reference, I am a ppp blue-eyed redhead. shucks.

Yummers. This smells so delicious that I have to stop myself from having a taste. Decent moisturizer. This is really a novelty product, great for gifts. And great for sniffin'.

Eye Shadow -Fresh - Shadow in Torrente

Torrente is quite lovely. A shimmery gray/green. When it arrived in the mail I was distressed at first because it looked just plain gray, but when I applied it the green popped out and it really brought out greenish hints in my blue eyes. It is a nice smoky gray green if that makes sense. Fresh has superb quality eyeshadows in terms of texture and staying power. They are the best I've used.

Eye Shadow -Fresh - Eye Shadow- Lost World

This was my first Fresh eyeshadow but I can see that they have me hooked. (Too bad for my wallet.) Lost World is a gorgeous brownish green with gold shimmer. Really beautiful. I've mostly been using this as a liner and it is stunning.

This is a lovely shade. Reminds me of semi-sheer version of NARS Mongolian Red (another great lipstick). Great consistency and wear.

Lipstick -Fresh - Rendezvous Point

My new favorite lipstick... On me, Rendezvous Point is similar to NARS Dolce Vita, however it has a better consistency and lasts longer. (and I love NARS.) It is a great everyday lipstick, or pairs nicely with a more dramatic eye. I love it. Fresh lipsticks are so nice, but I find they have a slight taste. Not at all perfumey, but just a taste that shouldn't be there for the hefty pricetag.

Lips -Burt's Bees - Lip Shimmer - Merlot

I have 3 lip shimmers so far, and Merlot is my least favorite. Love the idea behind these tinted lipbalms, but Merlot is extremely fuchsia on my lips. I had hoped it would be more red or wine-colored. Wouldn't buy this color again, but I'll try other colors.
