Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Aromatherapy lotion in Orange Ginger

I'm a little sensitive to actual perfumes, so I strictly buy only scented body washes, lotions and sprays like those at Bath and Body Works and similar stores. I've found overall that layering a body wash followed by a body lotion often gives enough scent that lasts all day. (I work from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. and I find that these scents last long after I get home from work.) When I going out or I'm wearing a particularly light scent, I also add the body wash and sometimes even mix scents. Now, for the Aromatherapy lotion. I purchased the body wash and lotion hoping it would help wake me up and energize me each morning, since I'm not exactly a morning person. It did the job and I love the scent, though, as other reviewers said, it is strongly citrus. I seem to get more "aromatherapy" from applying the lotion than when using the body wash in the shower, though. I also am very pleased with the packaging of the lotion, which comes in a glass bottle with a pump. Though the prices are exactly the best at Bath and Body Works, you can get some pretty good deals when they have sales. I just hope they don't eventually ditch this scent/line like they have so many other products.

Lip Gloss -mark - Glow Baby Glow Hook-Up Lip Gloss - Pink Crush
rated 4 of 5

This lip gloss is great, and the Hook-Ups packaging is something I could get hooked on. It's a sheer pink color that gives me wonderfully shiny lips. And the bonus is the nice, minty smell. It feels really great to slather on my lips which have been dried out from winter cold and wind. It's a good thing I like this product so much, problems with orders from mark being filled wrong somehow resulted in getting two extras (maybe to make up for their goofs?) in subsequent orders.

Eyeliner -mark - On The Edge Hook Up Liquid Eyeliner - Lilith

While I loved this product when I first tried it, I found that it didn't last very long and seemed to dry out quickly in the tube. It is a wonderful metallic bronzey color, but unfortunately after about two months of intermittent use, I have trouble applying it very smoothly because it seems to be drying out. :( I really wanted to give this a better review, but the poor packaging makes it a product that I won't buy again.

Powders -Ulta - Mineral Finishing Powder
rated 5 of 5

I love this makeup! It does exactly what the name implies. It finishes off your face and sets everything. I start off with Neutrogena moisturizer, then apply L'Oreal Bare Naturale Powered Mineral Foundation in light ivory. After applying blush, eyeliner and eyeshadow, I finish it all off with Ulta Mineral Finishing Powder. I use the retractable Ulta kabuki brush to apply and get very nice results. Not to mention, that I love the retractable brush. I've read pros and cons of mineral makeups, but I haven't experienced any problems with this finishing powder. In the summer, I even wear it alone for a lighter, more sheer look. And the price can't be beat. If you are a little unsure about trying mineral makeups, try the Ulta starter kit for $14. It includes a full size of this finishing powder, as well as a sample size of the Ulta mineral blush (also great!) and the Ulta mineral foundation (which didn't work for me) and the retractable brush. I fell in love with this powder and have just ordered it again from the Ulta Web site.
