Can't believe i haven't reviewed this yet. I have tried about every concealer out there and this is the only one that will last throughout most of the day. I have a birthmark that extends under my nose and oily skin in my t zone. I have had the best results with this. Wish the pump Did not dispense so much, but took the advise of another reviewer and mixed it with my moisturiser! Issue resolved! In love with this. HG

Had to buy a second because my cats attacked the first! I can't wear nail polish, it makes my nails peal and crack. Spend a minute with this and a few seconds with a white nail pencil band my nails look interview-ready beautiful with no fuss and no muss. Love it!!!

Tools -OPI - Crystal File

Love, love, love this! I'm on number 2 (it is crystal and is definitely fragile ...if your S.O. Is anything like mine, don't expect it to last very long under harsh conditions). I bought my second and have since bought two more - one for my mom, and one for my 94 year old grandmother. Expensive fir a file, but so gentle it's worth every penny.

Love this, I've used them for years! Not for sensitive skin, but quickly takes care of dead skin without the extra step of exfoliating. Hg for ever!

Awesome! Been using this a couple of times a week for about a month now. I've never used anything like it. Bumps are reducing (I don't get many, but what I get are stubborn), skin is smoother. As a bonus, I tried this on an ingrown hair and it brought it to the surface- no fuss, no muss! Love this stuff!!

Skincare - Face -Estee Lauder - Advanced Night Repair - Protective Recovery Complex

Oh me, oh my ... what a difference this has made. The skin under my eyes had been sinking and crepey for a few years and I've tried everything under the sun to try to 'plump' it up. This (with the matching eye cream) made a huge difference after a few days and after a month I am absolutely amazed! My skin is soft and supple and amazing. Expensive, but I don't think I can live without this!

Hair Color -L'Oreal - Natural Match haircolor [DISCONTINUED]
rated 3 of 5
dyanp989 2/8/2010 9:17:00 PM

This hair colour loves my hair! I've been using it for about a year now. I alternate between 5N and 5C (My hair pulls red, so the 5c balances it out when I want a richer brown) The smell is 'nice' for a hair dye ... no ammonia, significantly less chemical smell that other products I've used in the past. It's easy to use, doesn't drip and I always have my hair dresser compliment my highlights (it seems to take my greys to just the right shade). It will fade after a few days (I usually settle into the colour around day 5 or so) which is where I like it. My hair has never been healthier and I really have no complaints. Update: have since moved on.

Styling Products -Unlisted Brand - epsom salt spray
rated 3 of 5
dyanp989 1/16/2010 9:28:00 PM

Wow ... loving this so far! Mixed a batch with about a tablespoon of sea salt dissolved in 7 oz of distilled water. I put it into a spray bottle with about a half an ounce of leave in conditioner (to counter the dryness I heard about). Spritzed it in my hair and let it air dry. Resulted in soft, manageable waves with no frizz so far. Will update to see if I keep it up ... Update: was very drying when used on a regular basis. I no longer use.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous mascara

I always come back to this mascara - for almost 10 years now. I have long lashes that don't really hold a curl very well. This is a great mascara for definition and is pretty close to being an hg for me. I keep hoping to find something ''better" but haven't found one yet ... still searching, but will keep this one as my go-to mascara.

Scrubs -Queen Helene - Pomegranate and Raspberry Natural Facial Scrub
rated 4 of 5
dyanp989 12/28/2009 10:07:00 PM

I like this scrub. The particles are very fine and it can be easy to over do it - but once I learned the right pressure and amount for my skin, it worked very well for me. I like it better than the St. Ives Apricot Scrub that I've been using for a decade.

Masks -Queen Helene - Mint Julep Masque
rated 5 of 5
dyanp989 12/28/2009 7:40:00 PM

Finally found this! I've been meaning to try it, but it can be tough to find in Canada. I finally found it in Edmonton at a store called Images & Shades. It is a very strong menthol mask. To be truthful, the first time I put it on, it was tingly to the point of being a bit painful for the first 3-4 minutes. I took it off, and wasn't too impressed. It was ok, but nothing as dramatic as I was hoping for based on the reviews. Then I used it a second time a couple of days later. OMG, what an incredible difference I was. My pores are minuscule, my skin is smooth, I am in love!!!!!! Thank you MUA! I never would have known this existed without you!

Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - retractable kabuki
rated 5 of 5
dyanp989 11/8/2009 11:54:00 PM

Amazing! Soft, yet firm enough to hold mineral powder well. NO SHEDDING (feels like I've been waiting forever for a kabuki brush that doesn't leave little bristles all over my face!). Didn't think I'd like any of their products more than the eyeliner brush, but this one rocks! I've spent probably three times as much for brushes that don't work half as well. The retractable case keeps it clean and sanitary. I love this brush!

Treatments -Burt's Bees - Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream
rated 5 of 5
dyanp989 3/23/2009 10:00:00 PM

don't really have anything to compare it to, but in the constant struggle to strengthen my nails, this appears to be working for me. fewer hangnails, soaks in quickly and smells like lemon gelato. UPDATE: holy c**p! My fingernails haven't broken in a whole 2 weeks - I think this is a record!! Upgraded to a 5 and an absolute HG (my nails used to be so weak, they would snap and crack all the time) I'm never leaving home without this again!
