After using Terax Crema for years, felt like a big change and picked up this conditioner based on the reviews. I have normal hair prone to breakage, the main reason for me to switch products. This conditioner is lighter in consistency so u end up using a little more than usual, herbal scent and provides a good slip. I think its a step above than Terax crema. The only con for is the price..now I have to hunt for a good deal. I paired this with Aquage Shampoo and the results are amazing!!
Crap what a waste of my 8 bucks, prefer the ELF liquid eyeliner over this. Eyeliner is the most important thing for me. This products has more cons than pros IMO. Lets start with the packaging, looks good, nice and flashy gold packaging. Just don't get why the brush is this thick, the formula is goopy thick but can be worked with. This eyeliner formula is a like a tattoo, it stays put.. I mean really STAYS PUT! Removing this is a pain in my bu$$. I just use a rich cleanser to remove my makeup, don't have the time or patience for bedtime rituals. This eyeliner does not come off with a cleanser...boo on that! Try the ELF for a buck instead,
Gross made my hair dry and straw like...Ugghh hate this. Totally regret buying this product.
After a long search, I think I found my HG SHAMPOO. I have normal/fine hair was having tons of breakage..even the L'anza shampoo was not cutting it for me. Enter Aquage silkening poo, , fancy packaging, runny consistency tend to use a little more than usual. Once u get the product to lather and wash it leaves me with a very soft and silky finish..Noticing less hair fall after using this product. The only con to this product is the pricetag.
Shampoo -L'anza - Healing Moisture Tamanu Cream Shampoo

I have yet to nail the perfect shampoo, thought this would be "it" but the search goes on. It rinses off well, doesn't leave my hair dry but neither gives me the super moisturizing feeling. I like it but don't love it for the price.
Well I tried the Banana product at last and I must say its pretty cool. I don't apply this to contour but use it all over the face and it sets my tinted moisturizer awesomely well. I am NC40 for ref, luckily its not yellow on me, since its super sheer it blends in very well. So far I love this product.
Lets begin with my skin type, I have normal skin with redness around the chin area and prone to breakouts. Been looking at Ben Nye powders for months, was never sure about the color match so would back out in the last minute before ordering. After months of looking at online swatches, decided to go with this shade. On the website its described as translucent beige with brown tones. It matches my NC40 skintone perfectly. Its super sheer and blends in perfectly. The powder feels very light and yet it covers very well without giving me the cakey look. So far this hasn't given me any breakouts so far. Its very reasonably priced product and the packaging is pretty cool. I sealed off the sifter holes except one with cellotape so I don't have any messes.
Styling Products -L'Oreal - EverStyle Smooth and Shine Creme

This shine cream is definitely a dupe of Kerastase Nectar Thermique. The consistency of this cream is nice and non greasy. My hair drinks this stuff up and the blowout was pretty good. The end result was shiny, smooth hair but it lacked in the moisture department for me. Noticed that I had lot more breakage than usual obviously that's a big NO NO.. Not a big fan of the scent it reminds me of manuka honey. I got this cream at BB&B for 4$ after coupon which is very good compared to Kerastase which comes to 41$ after taxes. I would prefer this cream over the Ciment thermique. But Nectar thermique still rules for me in terms of moisture. Its definitely worth a try for the 4 bucks, nothing to lose here right!
I love this baby, it physically hurt me to pay $$$$ for this product. First I got a sample from Sephora, hoped it would break me out lol. Knock on wood so far its looking good. After using this product I've never looked back. Feels like a moisturizer upon application, sinks in like one, doesn't leave me feeling coated. Nice glowy finish without looking tacky. Just finish off with the BenNye powder and I am all done. Would really like to take off 2 lippies for the price. Use half the size of a dime and I am guessing it would come a for a long time..it better lol! For ref I am a NC40 with normal skin and was matched to the shade 204 and the color blends in perfectly. These are the other TM"s that I have tried MAC Kiehls Nars OCC Laura Mercier Wet n Wild Cover Girl Bobbi Brown Hard Candy
Actually bought this product for my son who is suffering from dandruff, tried everything from Aveda Scalp Benefits to California Baby nothing seemed to work for him. I wont say this product worked 100% but his scalp issues are much better than before. I like this shampoo, lathers well, moisturizing does not leave a scrunchy effect. On the whole nice shampoo. UPDATE**** Changing it to 5 star rating..very moisturizing shampoo for me, soft silky hair..
Moisturizers -Nuxe - Creme Fraiche de Beaute Suractivee (for normal skin)
dv_27 3/7/2013 11:14:00 AM
This is my first Nuxe product and I have been desperately trying to fix my skin which has become a major pain to take care off these days. Previously I could getaway with using anything without having to worry about breakouts. Initially I thought this product was causing my skin to breakout, after a lot of trial and error found the root cause and after eliminating that particular item off my routine..I think I can safely say my skin is doing much better. I have normal skin prone to breakouts/redness.Back to this product, its a very rich cream, a little goes a long way also has a flowery scent which doesn't bother me. This is a very good product for the winter but cant say how it would work during the summer. Will update on that later.
Pressed Powders -MAC - Mineralize Skin Finish Natural - Medium Plus
dv_27 2/2/2013 6:44:00 PM
I've had the MSFN in medium plus for almost 8 months now and can say I have used this less than 5 times so far. I have reached for the Studio Careblend more than this one. Numerous times cursed myself for getting sucked into the hype and shelling out 30 dollars. Dunno what made me try this product again, but anyways everything happens for a reason right .hahaha!!!!! Just used this on my bare face with a little bit of blush and the end result was a nice n glowy finish. Now I understand why this has such good reviews. It hasn't given me any breakouts yet but will update on that later. UPDATE**** Spoke too soon, gave me breakouts..boooooo
This is really the most awesome scent I have ever tried in a veryyyy long time..It starts out like citrusy floral then transforms to a masculine scent then the final drydown is musky awesomeness. This perfume has tons of layers..A very sophisticated scent..Just loveeeeeeeeeee it.
Knock on wood this product totally transformed my brittle nails..I put this on first before applying nail polish or sometimes just this product by itself and I think its amazing! My nails don't don't break anymore, which is awesome. Also love that I got this in BB&B with a coupon, very happy. Just a note haven't tried many nail treatments so I can't compare but this is one of the best ones, I have tried in a long time that helps with nail breakage.
Gels/Soaps -Dr. Bronner's - Peppermint Castille Soap
dv_27 1/20/2013 12:49:00 AM
Awesome stuff, just bought my 3' rd bottle...that' s something right! Have heard this brand being mentioned on the boards here but never thought too much of it. One day I was randomly browsing for KP cures and saw that this body wash was recommended by someone who said it helped in reducing her KP, instantly it clicked and I thought why not give it a try. I Have been using it since then along with my trusty Salux cloth. Have seen a big improvement, I will not say it completely cured my KP..the bumps have visibly reduced and do have a long way to go. Well the peppermint scent is not my absolute favorite but it has grown on me. Far less drying than the soaps I have used except for the goatmilk soaps they are an exception and also expensive. Will continue to use this till I find a much better alternative.
