Eyeliner -Laura Geller - I-Care Waterproof Eyeliner

I have these in aquamarine, mocha, black, vivid purple, and evergreen. My favorite color is the aquamarine. The mocha is a bit light, in my opinion; and unlike the others, does not seem to glide as easily. Perhaps I just got a defective one. The other colors glide on nicely. These are most definitely not swim proof, but they last all day on me without budging, which is what I look for.
This is the best exfoliator I've ever tried. It's gentler than the Ole Mini Peel for me. This has physical (little beads or grains) and chemical (fruit enzymes, etc.) exfoliators in one. It is quick, easy, and leaves you with immediate and long-term results. I use it in the past but became fickle and tried other products. I recently came back to Exfolikate and I am so glad I did. I used it yesterday and my husband commented on how good my skin looked.
Treatments -Ole Henriksen - Invigorating Night Gel

I'm on the fence with this product. It is a cooling gel with a slight displeasing scent that dissipates quickly. Apply too much, and it can be sticky. It contains algae extract and AHA, which is important in my routine because they help keep my acne-prone skin clear. The AHAs in this are gentle but effective. However, I prefer Dr. Dennis Gross AHA pads for this purpose. If you don't like pads, this is my next choice. Invigorating night gel would be best for oily to combo skin.
I am on my third bottle of this product. Finally, I seem to have gotten a bottle that dispenses correctly, as with previous bottles it is hard to control the amount of product that comes out. If I get too much, this serum can be sticky. I find this serum applies smoothly and sinks into the skin when using the correct amount. I apply any extra down my neck and on the back of my hands. My skintone is definitely more even, this did not break out my acne-prone skin, and fine lines are diminished. I enjoy the citrus scent.
Treatments (Eye) -Ole Henriksen - Fresh Start Eye Cream

This is a very dense, moisturizing eye cream. It brightens the under-eye area and seems to fill in fine lines. I think this is great for those in their 20s to hydrate and prevent, and for those with some fine lines to hydrate and minimize. My favorite is his truth eye creme with SPF for day.
I rather like this lip balm. I bought it in the clear, quenched and my lips are instantly smoothed and hydrated. I have been trying to get rid of my chapped lips for a week now, using high-end products I might add. But this works just as well, if not better. The plastic packaging is cheap but I love the colors of the packaging. It is fun and for $3, well worth it for me.
CAUTION: For those with irritated, sensitive, or broken skin, DO NOT USE. If you use a prescription cream on your face, DO NOT USE. These are precautions listed by Ole. I am terribly disappointed in QVC because, as of this moment, they have denied my reviews and have not posted the precautions on their site. PRODUCT: This peel is a 3 step process that takes about 30 minutes. The FIRST, is an almond polish to exfoliate (1-2 minutes). Use gentle pressure to apply to skin and then rinse. The SECOND, lemon strip is applied to peel and renew. The key ingredients are lactic and glycolic acid, orange and lemon extract, algae extract, and vitamin E. According to the manual, massage "a generous helping onto your face, neck, and ALL THE WAY UNDER THE EYES (3 minutes). Expect a "cool and slightly tingly sensation." THIRD, Chamomile comfort to soothe the skin is applied directly on top of the lemon peel (15 minutes). While the paper manual lists 15 minutes of relaxation with the chamomile comfort, I believe the jar says 20-30 minutes. Judge based upon your skin's reaction. I think 20 minutes is sufficient. MY EXPERIENCE: It is a potent, EFFECTIVE peel. Recently, my skin became more and more congested...acne under the skin that had not yet surfaced and visible whiteheads. I started using his "Three Little Wonders," and it began to help my skin. However, after using this peel just one time, my skin looked significantly clearer the next day. After two weeks of my routine, my face is CLEAR and BRIGHT. I do think this product made a significant difference. It is great to use one day before a special event, as your skin will look most refreshed at this time. After one week, it is time to repeat. NEGATIVE REACTIONS: I do not typically have sensitive skin. However, despite the normaly "tingly sensation" advertised, my skin BURNED with step 2 and 3. During the third step, the stinging did not last long or I would not be able to use this. My skin seems more acclimated with each use and stings much less. But, I cannot use it all the way under the EYE. It stung me terribly, and I modified the process to meet my needs.
I just got this in Perpetual Peony, as I usually look good in shades of peony. It was lighter than expected and not quite peony, but a bubble gum pink. If your looking for the rage of pale pink lips, this is for you. I like the mild, fruity sent, which dissipates within 5 minutes if not sooner. I did not notice glitter or sparkles when applied. The color is more matte on the lips in my opinion. The color certainly does not last 14 hours, but I never believe those claims anyway. It is long lasting, but not more than 4 hours or so; possibly longer if you do not eat or drink. As this color wears off, I actually like it better. It looks like my pink lips but enhanced and healthy. For a long-lasting lipstick, this is creamy and does not leave my lips dry and uncomfortable like many others. I took off one start for the "14 hour" staying power, and another because the color on my lips is a lot lighter than expected. I wonder if it is this way with other colors. Bottom line: I would repurchase this in another color, but if that disappointed me, I would be done.
Treatments -Peter Thomas Roth - Dragon's Blood laser free resurfacing treatment

I ordered this as a TSV from the Q about a week ago and I already see results. The first few days I really did not pay attention. But one night I caught a glance of my face after cleansing, and my skintone was so even and the texture was smooth. I really did not expect this product to work because I already take care of my skin with other effective skincare. Maybe my skin needed a change in the routine! I have a bad history of acne, even needing accutane in college. My acne did not become under control until my early thirties, but I still get monthly acne on my chin and forehead. However, this did NOT cause acne for me or clog my pores. It applied smoothly and did not leave a sticky residue on my skin. I only have some very fine lines by my eyes, but my forehead lines are definately more pronounced. The lines are slightly softened but I need to use this product for a few months before I comment further on its anti-aging properties. So far, I am pleasantly surprised and liking this product. I will update. UPDATE 2/3/12: This is really working wonders for the clarity and even tone of my skin. Today, I actually FORGOT to put on foundation!! What?! That never happens. This is the only change in my routine thus far and I attribute the positive effects to this.
Lipstick -Guerlain - Rouge G De Guerlain - All Colors
dtupaz 1/13/2012 3:10:00 PM
I have this in Gisele (08) -- deep golden rose. The color can go on lightly or layered for more depth, and it is a simply beautiful color that I can wear dailly. It is long-lasting without drying like most stains. They have many other colors, some I want to try. But holy cow, this is the most expensive lipstick I have ever bought. The case is both beautifully and wastefully package. The attached mirror is convenient and the weight does not bother me, but the case is not refillable or recyclable (that I am aware of). I am looking to purchase Gabrielle (60) or Gil (40) when I set aside the money. If anyone has tried these, please message me and let me know your opinion. The bottom line, I think these lipsticks are very high end. I can tell the difference for sure. I will repurchase but only in colors that I can wear daily. I wanted a red for Christmas time but it is not a look I can pull off often enough to warrant the price.
Liquid -Guerlain - 'Lingerie de Peau' Invisible Skin-Fusion Foundation
dtupaz 1/13/2012 2:23:00 PM
I have been loyal to Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation; and while the light is the best color for me, sometimes the finish can be on the dry side. I am careful not to use too much because then it is obvious in the sun. Enter Lingerie de Peu, and I may have found a new foundation. I feared that I would not find a color match given their limited range, but a Sephora expert recommended Rose Claire 12 and it is perfect. I have fair skin but not the fairest of the fair like Nicole Kidman. I have some more color and pink undertones. Rose Claire 12 and Rose Natural 13 have a pink base and 12 works so well with my skintone that it actually looks like my skin but better. It is a thin liquid that packs surprising coverage. Yes, it is meant to be light but can build to a medium coverage, enough to cover some age spots, broken capillaries, uneven skintone, post-acne marks, and mild acne. I put a second layer on some of these concerns and they covered up and did not look cakey at all. Most importantly for me, it blended seamlessly and looked great in any light, even outside. So far, I love it. If that changes, of course I will update this review. I doubt you will be hearing from me again, or at least for a long time. :-)
Treatments -Philosophy - Miracle Worker Retinoid Pads
dtupaz 1/13/2012 12:26:00 AM
I liked the idea that the retinoid is stable in a dark bottle until poured fresh onto the pads. The downsize is that the product then has a shelf-life. No point in using every other night or cutting the pads is half to stretch your dollar b/c the formula will become unstable and ineffective. The directions state to use the product within 3 months of pouring the solution. The pads definitely deposit product but they are not saturated in the solution. Do not expect the pads to be wet when applied and they are a little scratchy. It does however leave a layer of retinoid that absorbs within minutes. I have been a long time sufferer of acne-prone skin in the T-zone but this has not caused breakouts. In fact, my skin looks brighter, clearer, and even-toned. I noticed improvement within the first week.
If you are looking for a high potency vit C product that is stable, this is great!!! Mix a small amount of this powder with your favorite serum or moisturizer. It is so easy to add to your existing routine. It is meant to be used in the AM and it is important not to combine this with prodcuts containing retinol. I use this in the morning and retinoid pads at night.
Treatments -Kiehls - Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate
dtupaz 1/12/2012 11:57:00 PM
I really wanted to switch to an all-kiehl's regimen because I like natural products. While this vit-c cream is highly concentrated, stable, and applies with a nice warming sensation, it did not change my skin at all. I take good care of my skin and it maintained my current skin status, however, it did not change it for the better. Kiehl's maintains this is a gentler alternative to retinol. That may be true but it is NOT as effective. I started using Philosophy miracle worker retinoid pads and saw a quick improvement. Another cheaper alternative is Philsophy's turbo booster C powder. It is a 99.8% high potency powder that you mix daily with your favorite moisturizer. This vit C powder is stable since it is mixed daily.
Treatments -Kiehls - Midnight Recovery Concentrate
dtupaz 1/12/2012 11:35:00 PM
The pros: nice scent, does not break me out, adds moisture but isn't greasy, relatively cheap compared to other anti-aging serums, a little goes a long way and will last for a long time. The cons: it really does not seem to be doing anything but moisturizing. I saw no change in the tone or texture of my skin. I probably will not repurchase. I have a bottle of maracuja oil waiting for me, so I will try that next.
