I lusted over this blush for months, and finally ordered this in Light (I'm NC30) on the Sleek website to have it shipped. The colors are all so beautiful in the pan, and they feel so smooth! You could imagine my disappointment when I found that both the contour and the blush left me wishing they had better pigmentation. I find myself using a heavy hand, dipping into both pans over and over to really build the color. Maybe I'm just used to only one or two swipes doing the job. They also do not last long on my skin. After two or three hours, my cheeks are begging for color. The contour is a good match for my skin tone and not at all muddy, ashy, or ashy. So I'm not sure ordering it in the wrong shade is the issue. I just can't get the gorgeous rose gold to show up as vibrantly as it looks in the pan as on my skin. I just don't see the flecks of gold, as I would with a Milani Baked Blush. I almost feel like I should try applying it wet. The highlight is a great, subtle wash of healthy sheen without any detectable glitter. This is the only powder of the three that I can apply lightly and trust it will still be there in a few hours. The packaging is very chic, but not practical and is difficult to open. Love the big mirror inside! Overall, so beautiful to look at but just didn't have great pigmentation or lasting power (I REALLY wish it did, it would've been my go-to travel palette!). Maybe I need to order it in Medium and see if the colors were just too light for me? My only hesitation is that Medium has a bronzer instead of a blush.

While I had a reaction after using this on my face (even when I used on my eyelashes to condition them), I love using this on my hair as a mask! It also feels great on my legs after shaving. However, it never really did anything for my keratosis pilaris.
Pros: -Medium coverage; covered redness and scars -Blends easily -Affordable Cons: -Like any glass bottle with a screw-top, packaging isn't great -Feels thicker than most drugstore foundations on my skin -Not great for my dry patches -Somehow didn't feel like it really ever dried, and felt sticky
I love this vanilla cotton candy scent! My boyfriend thinks it can be a tad too "girly girl", but if you want to smell like an edible girl next door, this is the perfume for you.
Liquid -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Makeup SPF 17

I really like this foundation! Its large color range granted me a fantastic match. Its got medium coverage, so I use a concealer for stubborn veins on my face. The finish is between dewy and matte, so it's more "natural-looking." I wish the lasting power was better in the summer weather, hence the three lippies. The packaging could be better, because like any cap-bottle foundation it's unsanitary and can get messy.
Primer/ Corrector -Unlisted Brand - Monistat - Chafing Relief Powder-Gel

This is affordable, and it actually works! It feels so velvety on the skin, and I find it keeps my makeup in place. You only need a thin layer to make it work. So glad I found this.

Yikes. Leaves my hair sticky, and curling after application makes my hair crunchy. The packaging bites, mainly because it sprays like a squirt gun. Big disappointment!
I like to layer two mascaras since I have barely there Asian lashes. I use this to set the curl, and to separate my lashes. It doesn't add a heck of a lot more volume, but it does lengthen well. It doesn't flake and or clump either (*a biggie for me*). Overall, pretty good mascara!

I finally caved and purchased this foundation. It has medium coverage and it's buildable. The staying power is pretty impressive too, though it is not as long-lasting as a matte foundation (it's still good!). It's also a pretty great match for my color and the range they offer is decent. What is fantastic about this foundation is the luminosity it gives your skin! It gives a great "glow." My only con is that when my skin is particularly dry, it emphasizes flakies. It's awesome overall!
Primer/ Corrector -Skindinavia - Makeup Finishing Spray

What am I doing wrong?! I spritz this three times after my entire makeup routine, and while it takes away any cakiness, I don't see much of a difference in the staying power of my makeup. Any tips on how to best utilize this spray? I really want to make it work for me since it is a little pricey!

I saved up my pennies to buy this because it's really hyped up. It blends my makeup LIKE A DREAM, but I don't see a difference in the staying power of my makeup unfortunately :(
Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - 8-pan Palette "Comfort Zone"

These eyeshadows are so pigmented, I love them! I have similar colors in MAC but these have a richer texture and better color payoff! This palette is ridiculously affordable. The only cons I can think of is the cheap packaging (conducive to broken shadows when dropped or bumped around), and a small amount of fall out you might get with the darker shadows.
This is a decent cream blush. Coral Reef is such a pretty color. It's a bit sheer, but buildable. It also blends really well. Lasting power could be better though, I'd say it gives me 4-5hours of wear.

I love this concealer! It's creamy but not too thick. It covers really well and does last a good while. I also use it as a corrector for my undereyes (the shade I bought is not light enough for an undereye concealer). It's also inexpensive. Glad I bought two while I was in Ireland because you can't get this in America!
Moisturizers -Cetaphil - Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF15
dtormon 11/17/2012 8:23:00 PM
This moisturizer used to work for me well. It's lightweight and absorbed into my skin fairly quickly. But I switched moisturizers once my skin became really dry and I needed something a bit more hydrating. I tried to switch back to Cetaphil but all of a sudden, it started to break me out (I also did not find it as moisturizing as my other facial cream). Not sure what the deal is, but if you aren't sensitive to the ingredients or super dry this might work for you.
