I bought a Clean set with 5 fragrances and little matching lotions and got Skin as a sample. I finally tried it and it's my favorite of the clean fragrances I've tried. First off, since I'm a fan of light scents I know going in that certain brands have limited staying power such as Clean brand. I read the scent profile and not being that discerning--I don't get all the top, mid and bottom notes but a few work well with my chemistry--luckily they are ones I like. I get a sharp first hit of water/aquatic that fades and end up mixing in with the very light musk. If this were a strong musk I would have to dump it with a friend as my skin and strong musk don't mix. This is soft on me and I've had a compliment on it hours after I stopped smelling it. Will definitely be using this one for as long as they keep making it. I would suggest that if you are iffy on it--try it from someplace like QVC or HSN--one of them sells Clean products--just for the easy return policy-within 30 days.
Hair Styling Tools -T3 - ColorLock Color Lock Flat Iron Press

I'm new to flat irons and was looking for a bargain on a good brand and thought I had found it in this product. This is not a traditional flat iron. I didn't do my research on this product and once I received it and read the instructions I realized I hadn't bought a true flat iron. This is designed for use on wet, colored hair with a color setting spray made by Bespoke to help lock in color. This specifically states not to use on dry hair. Printed on the actual press it says, "The press is not for styling. Do not use on dry hair." This is a tool to help preserve and revitalize colored hair. Haven't tried it yet but intend to give it a shot once I pick up some of the spray that is recommended.
I just started using cornstarch at the roots of my hair as I'm hot natured and can't stand my hair getting all sweaty and moist. This is a great way to wick away moisture. I use it with a powder puff at the nape of my neck and under my breasts/in cleavage when the weather is hot and humid as well. If you read the label for Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil, the first ingredient is corn starch. If you tap a bit of your mineral foundation into an empty Mineral Veil container and mix it with cornstarch, you should have the slightly tinted effect of the mineral veil for a much more reasonable price.
Powder -Physicians Formula - Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Loose Powder

I've used a few different mineral type foundations and while this isn't the best, it does the job for me when I run out of my go to brands. It does seem to take a bit more to achieve the coverage I prefer and the brush is not good--I use my BE brush instead. I've found the best way for me to use the powder is to take off the oval domed lid, loosen the plastic cap, hold it gently closed and tap out the powder. Then I turn it upright and open the plastic cap. I dip in the brush and use the domed lid to swirl and load the brush with the powder. Review may be for nothing as a Walgreens associate mentioned to me on July 3, 2009 that Physicians Formula was going out of business. I suggest that if you have any favorite products you look for them soon.
Fragrances -Crabtree & Evelyn - Spring Rain [DISCONTINUED]

I bought this the first time years ago in some boutique shop in our very small town for a bridal gift basket. Even the husband loved the scent. I still have my own tiny stash of the fragrance oil dropper to use with a fragrance ring for a light bulb. It is pretty potent for such a delicate scent and it doesn't take much to perfume a couple of rooms and it lingers quite some time. A really beautiful fragrance.
