I really like this primer. Received it as a free gift at Sephora. I thought it was going to be too thick, but it blends into the skin very evenly and gives a fantastic smooth appearance. I have noticed a HUGE difference if I don't use it. Better than the Trish face primer. I think this is my new HG face primer! And you only need a small amount.
Mascara -Christian Dior - Maximeyes [DISCONTINUED]

WOW! I am in love with this mascara! This is my new HG mascara for daytime (full, long, lush lashes but not too over the top like Hypnose can be). Doesn't flake or smudge. Kept my eyelashes curled. Brush is the BEST! Able to coat the lashes evenly and get the little corner lashes too. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT.
I have been trying many mascaras, and Hypnose is my HG! It makes my lashes so thick and long... my BF always asks me if I have false eyelashes on when I wear Hypnose. Keeps my Asian lashes curled. Very very minimal flaking (nothing is perfect, right?) but this mascara is close to perfect (for me) as possible.
Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)

My HG of eyeshadow primers! Love how it goes on transparently. Eyeshadow colors look better and stay put all day. WOW WOW WOW!!! I didn't realize there was an e/s primer this good.
This has been my HG of lip moisturizers for over 6 months. Keeps my lips moist and does not dry it out. A lot better than Kiehl's. I've already purchased a back up.
OMG! I'm in love with this blush/bronzer duo. Amazing color! Just a light application, and my cheeks have a healthy color. WOW! Lives up to the hype!
OMG! I'm in love with this blush. My first NARS blush... I purchased this as part of the Orgasm/Laguna duo so I'll put this review in the bronzer section, too. Amazing color! Just a light application, and my cheeks have a healthy color. WOW! Lives up to the hype!
Treatments (Eye) -Sue Devitt - Microquatic Anti-Aging Eye Concentrate
drgarza 2/11/2007 10:46:00 PM
Pro: Nice, thick, creamy texture. Con: I purchased this at Barney's yesterday, and this burned my eye (although not initially... started stinging several hours after application). She had put the Sue Devitt eye cream around one eye, and the Natura Bisse around the other. One of my eyes started burning hours later... I could have sworn it was the Sue cream, but I gave it another shot (thinking maybe I was recalling in error). Tonight, I tried the Sue eye cream again... about 30 minutes later, my eyes are stinging. I will return this tomorrow. Very expensive ($100), and I would definitely pay that much for a worthy eye cream. This is not it.
Styling Products -Sebastian - Body Double Thickefy Styler
drgarza 2/10/2007 5:49:00 PM
I have been using this product off and on for 3-4 years. I really like it... I use a few pumps just at the roots. This product gives good lift and volume. I do not use it on the rest of the hair because it makes it crunchy. If I have the time to blowdry and style my hair right, I will put this on the roots and a styling lotion or heat protectant on the rest of the hair.
Hands down, the HG of eyelash curlers! I have been using Shu for years... nothing even compares to this.
Shampoo -Kerastase - Bain Miroir Shine Enhancing Shampoo
drgarza 2/10/2007 5:40:00 PM
I love Kerastase but have never been a fan of the Reflection line in the pink bottles. This shampoo performed less than average... left my hair feeling more dry. The Kerastase Bain Satin 2 is by far the best shampoo I have ever used. I recommend trying the Bain Satin before deciding Kerastase isn't right for you. I was frustrated using the Bain Miroir shampoo (my first Kerastase product) and didn't see the hype about Kerastase. That's because this particular shampoo isn't good at all.
I love Kerastase (mainly the Nutritive line, like the Bain Satin) but I really don't like any of the products in the Reflection line. The masque was average... really expensive for the price, and the product ran out too quickly. It never really felt like a "masque"... more like a regular conditioner for dry hair. The Masquintense is by far better for dry, chemically processed hair.
One of my favorite shampoos!! I alternate this with the Bain Stain 2, especially when I need more moisture that day. Great lathering. Nice smell. Weighs hair down just a bit, so I use the Bain Satin 2 more often. I still love this shampoo, though, especially for the winter.
This is my HG of shampoos!! I started using Kerastase about 1 ago... I do not like any of the Kerastase products in the hot pink/fuschia bottles (the ones supposedly for color-treated hair). However, the Bain Satin 2 is AMAZING!!!! Lathers nicely and cleans thoroughly without the "too clean" or stripped feeling. I use this most days, and when I feel my hair needs a bit more moisture that day, I will use the Bain Satin 3. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!! I was a Kerastase skeptic because I kept on using the pink bottles (my hair is long, coarse, and color-treated). The Bain Satin line is by far better yet does not strip color. You must try the Bain Satin line before deciding you don't like Kerastase.
This is my HG of deep conditioning treatments!!! I have the one for THICK hair, and it is wonderful! When I have the time, I leave it one for 30 minutes - 1 hour while I give myself a mini-facial. SUPERB results! Hair is super soft and shiny. When I don't have the time, I only leave it in for 5 minutes while in the shower, and I still see great results! Doesn't weigh hair down. Detangles hair (I mention that because I have found that some conditioners don't detangle). I use this in conjunction with either the Bain Satin 2 or 3. I have been using Kerastase for about 1 year... I've found that, as with a lot of products, you have to find your *right* combination. LOVE IT!! Very expensive, though. EDITED 2/18/07: I wanted to add that the Masquintense I've recently purchased and have been using is the "new" formulation. Excellent results!
