I ran out of my favorite suncreen Shiseido Extra Smooth Sun Protection Lotion SPF 38 PA++ & before i could make it to Sephora to get some, i picked this up at Walmart for $10USD. So glad i did. I have to say the consistency & coverage is pretty similar to the Shiseido version & it's at 1/3 of the price. It has a sheer finish, none of that white cast from sunscreen & absorb beautifully into my combo skin. I could layer this on top of a daytime cream, and it still feels sheer. The small flat tube design makes it easy for me to toss it into my handbag. Love - will definitely repurchase when i run out.
Crème -Graftobian - High-Definition Glamour Color Creme Foundation

Hands down the best foundationt that I've used. It feels light yet provides full coverage. I wish i had discovered this foundation before my wedding...oh well. I wore this to my sister's wedding a few months ago, and was astonished at how flawless my skin came out in the pix (the photoghaphers for mine & her wedding are the same so it's got to be the foundation). This is not something that I'd wear everyday, only for special occasion/going out, as i am afraid of my pores getting clogged up. I got the Warm#2 palette which provided me with enough shades to get me through all the changes in my facial color, thoughout the year + highligher/contour shades & more. For $20 (from makeupmania.com) i think this is a steal
Mascara -Jordana - Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara

It's a pretty good mascara for its price, $2.99 at Walgreens. I do like how the brush is on the small side, and it's stiff, so it makes for easy application. I didn't like the fact that there's no waterproof formula, since that's pretty the only thing that will help hold a curl for my helpless lashes. Overall, a good product to try out, without taking out a second mortgage
thought i'd give this a try since i am such a prod junkie. Got it off of Amazon for almost $10 (S&H included) since i wasn't able to find it in any local beauty/drugstore. Was looking forward to get blown away based on the reviews below, but sadly i wasn't :( The brush is too big which makes it a awkward to apply. It didn't really give me any more volume/length than my favorite drugstore mascara, Maybelline Volum' Express the Falsies. Also, not sure if it's just my specific tube, but this mascara dries out quickly which really deteriorated its performance. I will not be purchasing this again.
Fragrances -Viktor & Rolf - Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb

Love it....sweet but not powering, never thought i'd be into floral perfume, but this one sold me. Staying power is great as well, a bit on the expensive side, but since it's a EDP, i use one or 2 spritz at a time. So it should last me a while.
Styling Products -Unlisted Brand - One 'n Only - Argan Styling Cream

I use 2 pumps of this stuff on towel-dried hair, put it in a bun & then loosen the bun a couple of hours later. The result is soft, shiny, bouncy, wavy hair, I also love the smell of this stuff also. There's a lot of prod in the bottle, so it'll last me a long time. Great prod at a great value for me.
Shampoo -Unlisted Brand - One 'n Only - Argan Oil Moisture Repair Shampoo

I got the shampoo, conditioner & restorative mask as free samples for purchasing something else at Sally's. Packed them with me on a trip to Hawaii, and this totally saved my hair from the sun & salt. I couldn't believe how smooth my hair felt while i was rinsing the conditioner out. i thought it was just a wet hair effect, but when it dried up, it was still soft, smooth & shinier than normal. I can't remember the last time my hair felt like that with any other shampoo/conditioner. And the smell of the argan oil is great. I love it. Definitely will run out & purchase the full size bottles of these
Primer/ Corrector -L'Oreal - Studio Secrets Anti-Dull Primer
dragonfly16 2/2/2012 3:25:00 PM
Complete waste of money for me. Used it once & then i eventually tossed it. Not sure if i am not using it right, or something, but this made my face look like a clown rather than provide any anti-dull coverage. I couldn't agree more with how one of the reviewers has described it, " glittery, too orangish reddish muddish" - prob one of the worst beauty prod i've tried
Love this spray, it leaves my hair shiny, soft, smooth - does not weight it down & it smells wonderful. It's practically miracle in a bottle for my hair. I wish i had discovered this prod earlier, would have saved my a ton of money trying out different stuff that doesn't work. It's a bit expensive for its size, i think, but totally worth it. HG status for me!
Sunscreen -Shiseido - Extra Smooth Sun Protection Lotion SPF 33 PA++
dragonfly16 1/17/2012 1:49:00 PM
Great sunscreen - very light & doesn't feel sticky like most other suncreen that i've used. And the scent is much more pleasant. It goes on sheer & matte which i love, bc i already have oily skin & definitely do not need to add anymore grease to my face. I normally put on a serum or a cream on face to provide more moisture & put this sun screen on top. I've gone hiking all day, in southern california, with this sunscreen applied only once in the morning & no burns or redness afterwards, so i know the protection is pretty high. Love it - just wish the price tag could've been a bit lower.
it seems like people either like this prod or hate it. I got a few samples of this through other DHC orders, and was hesitate to use it...as i already have oily skin, and was afraid that this prod would either compound it or make me break out. It's been a week of my using this as a night time moisturizer and i am happy to report that i didn't get any breakout, nor has it made my skin any oilier. It does feel oily when i apply it on at night, but i just let it soak in while i am sleeping. The result is soft, smooth & almost glowy skin, in the morning. I couldn't believe this. I am definitely ordering this prod when my samples run out.
Treatments -Unlisted Brand - One n' Only - Argan Oil Treatment

Love the smell of this whole line! This oil is a bit tricky for me to figure out. I tried experimenting on my dry hair, and it just left it sticky & weighted down. Putting it on wet hair (before towel drying it) proved to be a mess also. For me, i can only use this right after i've towel-dried my hair. I put a few drops of this stuff on, and then blow dry it right away. And the result is silky smooth hair. So i think you really have to play around with this prod. I wish the packaging was better though, I've spilled half of this stuff on my counter top bc the screw cap wasn't on tightly enough :( I wish it comes in a squeeze bottle of some sort.
Dirt cheap mascara, but it doesn't hold a curl :( I have the waterproof version and normally all other waterproof mascara hold my curl really well, but not this one :( What a shame. I really like how the brush is thin, so i can get to every single one of my lashes, but that's about it for me.
pillowy soft...is exactly how i would describe these pads. These are definitely are in a class of their own. They don't soak up my toner as regular drugstore cotton balls/pads would & they just feel so nice on your face. So that's my justification for spending more on these. I didn't think that a cotton pad can get this nice, but i am a believer now
I just decided to try the acerola cream & this toner (lotion) when the DHC site was having a sale. These 2 prod have helped with reducing the redness i was having on my cheeks, and have brightened up my complex quite a bit. I also like that the toner & cream left my face feeling fresh & not clogged up like some other heavier cream. I think they are a bit on the expensive side so that's why i took off a lippie. But otherwise, i love them both
