So I was scared to use this product.. after reading all of the reviews saying its stinky and messy. To me.. it doesn't smell that bad.. well it doesn't smell like roses.. but (I have CACA Brun on my hair right now - for the second time) and I can't even smell it. and when I do... its really not that bad. It can be messy from the pieces falling all over the place so just lay some newspaper down before you start shredding and applying. After using it the first time.. I only put it on for about 2 or 3 hours.. to me a saw a slight difference in the brown tint. I did see the difference in the texture of my hair. I have relaxed slightly damaged hair - now its fuller feeling (its thick already) and its softer. I visited lush yesterday and they said you can use it as often as you want... so I am using it again tonight for a longer period of time. I love this stuff! Cant wait to try the red henna in the summer.
I got this item from the CCO for 10 USD. I fell in love with 4N lipglass and I am on a quest to find a dupe or wait for a re-release?!? please MAC. Anyway.. I know this is sorta like 4N but the glitter in it looks like greens or teals. This is definitly WOC friendly (i am NW45) its a great colour you can just throw on anytime. Love it!! Would get more if I could.
Eyeliner -MAC - Penultimate Eye Liner - Rapidblack

I don't like this liner - but it does have a couple of advantages. I love the idea of the pen - its easy to hold and attempt to apply it where you want to. The application especially over eyeshadow really sucks. I have to continuously keep lining over and over again for the colour to show up over the colour and try to use the sides of it to get more colour. I do like this because its easy to carry. If I apply blacktrack in the morning I can take the penultimate with me for any needed touch ups istead of my blacktrack and a liner brush.. so that is convenient. I definitely prefer blacktrack fluidline.
This is another staple item. What would I do without this? I have tried to stray away from it just to test out other products but I still keep coming back to this one. I like the control you have over it. you can be very gentle and light with the pencil then go in and darken it up as you please. It lasts all day but I love to use the brow set with it to blend and keep the brows in place. The only thing is that I wish you could see when its about to run out. But it is something that I would like to have back up of.
This is the best powder foundation ever! I would defend studio fix powder to the death! I use it everyday.. even when I use other foundations like MUFE HD, Studio Fix Fluid, and Studio Tech. I use it to set all of them. I am so dependant on this powder that I buy a new one as soon as I start to see the pan on the one that I am using. Studio fix Fluid is also very nice. The coverage is the best, the blendability is fabulous, and the staying power is awesome. I recommend this all the way!
I didn't know much about brow settings until i was searching the MAC website. My brows can sometimes be really weird and the hairs go in different directions. I use this everyday and each night by the time I get home my brows are in the same place as they were when I put the set on in the morning. would definitely buy again.
Cleansers -Clinique - Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm

I tried using the product at a store on some make up that I had on my hand and it worked really well. So I thought to keep it in mind for when I visit a Clinique counter again. I picked up a jar yesterday and almost didn't buy it because of the price ($34 CDN) but I thought - I know its good because i tried it and I love Clinique products. I used it last night incorporating it in my intense makeup removal process and it was soooo great. My removal method is: 1. Clinique Rinse off Eye Makeup solvent (blue bottle) with a cotton pad (just a priliminary removal of eye makeup) 2. I then used to use Cold Cream by Ponds - Now its the Take the Day off Cleansing balm 3. A q-tip and Clinique's take the day off for lids, lips and lashes (pink bottle) and really just get into the lash area and waterlines for any left over makeup (and there usually is) 4. MAC wipes for all over removal ...Then I cleanse with Clinique's Liquid Facial soap and so on By the time I washed the balm off and went in with my q-tips and the Take the Day off For lids, lips, and lashes there was barely any left over mascara / eye makeup it was great!! The balm didn't leave any greasiness after it was washed off - it was fabulous! This will definitely be a staple in my makeup removal process.
Love this colour. I can't believe it took me so long to get it. I was eyeing it for so long!!! This green is great for all skin shades and the colour intensity increases when you use a great base.. love it love it love it!
Just bought Studio tech last night and using it for the first time today. Love the coverage... I am looking in the mirror - and i am looking a little red though.. weird. Anyway... I was watching scandalousbeauty's tutuorial on ST and I did it this morning.. Primed, concealed then spurtzed on some Fix+ and applied the foundation..along with a dusting of Studio fix (my # 1 lover) I love the creamy look it gives. I am combination skin but in the winter it gets more on the dry side. Anyway.. I would buy this again.. but I still love studio fix powder and liquid better.
