I don't understand everyone's intense love for this product! Salt is a great exfoliant and anti-bacterial ingredient for the skin but this product is purely that- salt! it is so incredibly strong that it BURNS my face, and the particles of salt are so large and rough that they scratch my face! and I have owned this product for about a year now and still have one third left of it because I use it about once a month as any more would completely dry out my skin - it leaves it feeling soft and thoroughly cleansed, but I would definitely not recommend this for the face or repurchase.

Blush -NARS - Desire

This blush is absolutely amazing. So incredibly pigmented that one tap of this product directly onto my brush is more than enough to cover an entire cheek - looks absolutely crazy bright fuchsia barbie pink in the pan, but looks absolutely beautiful on the face - a soft but somehow bright glow that lifts the complexion - making even the dullest of skin appear illuminated and healthy. It is a cool toned blue based pink that gives the face a lovely warmth, even so being cool toned. Looks absolutely porcelain doll-like on fair skin but suits all skin tones. Slightly pricey of course being NARS ($55 in Australia - MAC blushes are $41) but worth every cent, the formula of NARS blushers are just phenomenal, not to mention this blush lasts literally 8 hours +, staying powder beats MAC by a mile.

Concealers -MAC - Studio Finish Concealer

I have this foundation in NC15, which is perfect for my snow white-like skin. Mac foundations in NC15 are about four shades too dark for me (My foundation match is 'Siberia' from NARS) and I find this to be the perfect colour for me. It is incredibly thick but smooths over skin incredibly well and effortlessly, blends well and lasts all day, the only downside of this concealer is - it creases pretty badly. It is still a lot better than most drug store brands, and I wouldn't say I had particularly noticeable under eye lines - It just creases most of the time and has the tendency to look very very flaky and dry if under eyes are thoroughly moisturised and the slightest amount off too much powder is applied over the top to set. It contains a high SPF of 33 to 35 (35 in America - 33 in Australia) and the amount of product lasts AGES. Overall, I would recommend this product for very dark circles or over the top of spots/discolouration, but beware to use sparingly - blend well, and set lightly. Retails for around $18 in USA, $33 Australia.

Liquid -MAC - Studio Sculpt SPF 15 Foundation

Pro's - Amazing coverage varying from light to heavy (build-able but if used sparingly can be sheer) - Has an SPF of 15 - Is relatively long lasting when set with powder and primer is used underneath - Gives face a flawless look - Packaging comes in a toothpaste like tube - with a twist top and is smooth, sleek and hygienic - Amount of product lasts for a long time - Smells amazing - Like coffee in my opinion! has like an old book vintagey sort of smell... hard to describe. Con's - Colour range for MAC foundation is terrible NC15 is about 4 shades too dark for my snow white skin so I have to add white foundation in it to match. - Is one of MACS more expensive foundations, retails for around $60 Australian so about $30 American or around there. - Is incredibly sticky and Dewey finish wise - needs to be set with powder even if you have dry skin - I often feel I need to wear a lot of powder in order to keep this foundation from melting off me completely and being almost shiny.
