I just finished a Sample bottle of the conditioner, and I loved it! I felt compelled to write about my experience because of all of the negative reviews. I have long, fine, virgin hair. This conditioner made my it smooth and silky. Its been far too long since I've had a haircut (busy with two little ones), so this product helps my hair look healthy. Love it! I'll be purchasing the next time I get to the store.
Gels/Soaps -Mrs Meyer's Clean Day - Aromatherapeutic Hand Soap

Love love love love Mrs. Meyer's! I have tried the hand soap in basil, lemon verbena, apple, and honeysuckle and I love them all. Whenever someone visits they ask where we got it. They all smell DIVINE and leave hands soft. As a new mom I wash my hands 50x a day and they're still soft. I've been converting all of my cleaning products too. Great find!
Wow. I finally found a foundation that I LOVE and it's from a drugstore...who knew? My skin is very difficult to match, it has yellow and pink undertones and I'm pale, so everything I try tends to be too pink or too yellow. The ecru beige is perfect on me. It seems a little bit light at first, but quickly blends in and makes my skin look flawless. The best part is that it does not leave my face looking oily even when stuck in a hot car for over an hour. A great product. I hope it sticks around, the line has that novelty special edition look to it... A definite must try! And thank you MUer's for the great find!!!
Treatments (Eye) -Cosmedicine - Opti-mologist with Light Diffusers

I dislkied this stuff so much that I have to put a warning out there for others. It does not sink in, and thus messed up my makeup. It also caused clogged pores under my eyes, which I've never had before. I didn't notice a difference in dark circles, but even if I did the disadvantages would disuade me from ever using it again.
Lip Treatments -The Body Shop - Hemp lip conditioner (stick)

I am in love with this stuff. I have about three dozen lip care products (at least), and this is the only one that I have to have on me at all times. It keeps my (prone to chapping) lips soft all year round, even when hiking through the ADKs in very cold weather. Excellent product. Wish the price would stop going up though!
I really tried to like this scent. But for some reason on me it smells like men's cologne. Very strange. Maybe it's just me and there's some note in it similar to something my grandfather uses.
Conditioner -Phyto - Phytojoba - Intense Hydrating Mask
dmwfa 9/5/2008 10:33:00 AM
This is a great product for my fine, thin, dry hair. I have found that it works best if I just wet my hair a little and then comb it through and leave it in for about an hour. Then I shower to rinse it out. It leaves my hair nice and soft, not weighed down at all, and even though I don't shampoo when I use it my hair is not at all greasy and even looks good the next day. Since I typically have to wash my hair everyday this is a very good find!
Treatments -Organix - Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum

An absolutely amazing product! I put it on my hair after towel-drying and it makes it look healthy and shiny, which trust me, my hair is currently not. I was afraid it would weigh down my thin, shoulder-length hair, but it doesn't at all. And I only need a tiny bit, like half a pump, so it's going to last me ages. I hope they keep making it because this has become a must have hair product for me. And it's organic. Awesome!
Treatments -Phyto - Phytophanere Food Supplement for Hair and Nails
dmwfa 8/26/2008 2:11:00 PM
The price tag on these hurts, not going to lie. But I really do feel that they make my hair grow faster and healthier so it's worth it. My nails have also improved immensely and my skin looks better. I stopped taking them for a while and did notice a difference, so I'm sold.
A very effective shampoo for cleaning the scalp. I've noticed less hair loss since I've been using it, but I'm using it in conjunction with the phyto vitamins and some other haircare products so it's hard to say if the shampoo is the only reason for improvement. Regardless, I like it and I've bought it several times.
total headache scent for me, but it smells nice on some people.
Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Brazil Nut Whip Body Lotion

This lotion smells heavenly and the texture is perfect, not too heavy but very moisturizing. My fiance always tells me I smell good when I use it. I'm on my third bottle, and I hardly ever stay interested in a lotion for this long.
Gels/Soaps -The Body Shop - Green Tea Shower Gel (Limited Edition)

Product quality is good, but smells just like citronella to me for some reason. Couldn't use it. Yuck.
I think this is Burt's follow-up to the discontinued atar of rose serum (which I used to love), and it is quite comparable. It smells nice, kind of like an herbal shop. It moisturizes the skin beautifully without making it oily, and has helped a lot with the appearance of fine lines around my eyes. I'm not crazy about the bottle, simply because I accidentally knocked it over and lost half of the contents. And of course glass bottles and personal care are always a dangerous combination. That said, I'll still be buying it again when I run out because it works very well.
I tried this line twice, and sadly did not notice much of a difference. I know nothing is a miracle cure, but based on the results stated on the package I was hoping for at least an improvement. I guess with some kinds of hair loss only time can help. I have had good results with ojon's tawaka line though, so anyone who didn't like nioxin might want to try that.
