Self Tanners -Clarins - Intense Bronze Self Tanning Tint

HG face tanner for me. This doesn't cause me to break out and gives a decent amount of color without being orange. I apply it on a cotton pad before I put on sunscreen daily.

Powder -Physicians Formula - Super BB All-in-1 Beauty Balm Powder
dlbd2k06 2/18/2013 4:44:00 PM
EDIT: This made my rosacea flare up terribly! I am absolutely loving this product! I already bought 2 backups since I found them on sale. I love powder foundations, but sometimes they look too flat or cakey. This powder goes on beautifullly, isn't cakey at all and delivers a glowy natural finish without being shiny or sparkly. Also the packaging is cute. If you are a fan of powder foundations but don't want a totally matte finish definately check this one out!!

Self Tanners -Unlisted Brand - Malibu - Hemp Golden Glow Bronzing Moisturizer
dlbd2k06 2/18/2013 4:41:00 PM
I love gradual tanners. Dove was my favorite until it got discontinued. I switched to Jergens and had been using it the last few years, but I never liked it as much and hated the tube packaging. I found this Hemp one bases on MUA reviews. I love it! It is inexpensive, comes in a pump, doesn't have the usual bad smell of self tanners. It gives me a natural, golden color. It also moisturizes way better than the Jergens one. I will continue to rebuy.

This is a great brush. I have used it with both liquid and powder foundations and it gives a great finish with either. Has not shed at all.

Makeup Brushes -Sigma - F80 Flat Top Synthetic Kabuki (was SS197)
dlbd2k06 1/5/2013 2:42:00 PM
I generally am more of a fan of powder foundations, but I had picked up a couple liquids recently that I wanted to try. I was using a damp sponge and wasn't thrilled with the results. Then I remembered I had purchased the F80 a while back and never tried it. This brush applies liquid foundation beautifully, gives a natural finish and does not shed at all. Great brush!

Shampoo -Ojon - Dry Recovery Hydrating Shampoo
dlbd2k06 12/24/2012 3:38:00 PM
I'm surprised at the negative reviews for this shampoo because I really like it. I have platinum (super bleached) hair that is straight and fine and dry. This shampoo leaves my hair feeling soft and clean, but not stripped or dry at all. Some moisturizing shampoos make my fine hair flat or greasy, but this one is great. I also have been using the matching conditioner. I will repurchase for sure.

Powder -Laura Geller - Balance-n-Brighten
dlbd2k06 12/17/2012 3:06:00 PM
I love pressed powder foundations. MAC StudioFix has been my stand by for years, and I love it, but sometimes want something a little more glowy. I loved MSFN but my skin reacted badly to it (most likely the bismuth) I found the B&B based on reviews on MUA and YouTube and decided to give it a shot. I really like it, it gives a nice glowy finish and hasn't been a problem for my skin at all. The only drawback is there aren't a lot of colors. I have the medium, which is slightly dark for me (NC20) but the fair shade is a little too light. I wish there was a shade in between. Still, I like it and would repurchase for sure.

Makeup Brushes -Sephora - Professional Mineral Powder Brush #45
dlbd2k06 12/17/2012 3:00:00 PM
This brush is my new love! I mostly use powder foundations. My current faves are MAC StudioFix and Laura Geller Balance & Brighten. I like light to medium coverage. I had been using various brushes, MAC large powder (150, I think) which I liked, but gave sheer coverage, RT Kabuki, also good, but not perfect for me, Sigma F82, I liked, but gave heavier coverage and felt rough on my face due to how dense it is. The Sephora brush is slightly less dense than the Sigma and soooo soft. It is great for medium coverage. I love the long handle also. I'm considering buying a backup because I love it so much. Also the price is reasonable.

Eyeliner -Milani - Eye Tech Extreme
dlbd2k06 11/13/2012 10:53:00 PM
I Love this eyeliner! I am a long time liquid eyeliner user. I have probably tried almost every available h/e and d/s liquid e/l. This one is perfect. It is very black and has great lasting power. The best thing about it IMO is the brush. It has a super fine tip, making it so easy to get a thin, fine line. I would especially recommend this to anyone having difficulty using liquid e/l or making a wing, the tip makes it a breeze! I already bought a backup and I'm going to buy more.

Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - Bamboo Bronzer Brush
dlbd2k06 9/22/2012 1:09:00 PM
Loving this brush! I have always been on the fence about wearing bronzer, because I never felt like I could get the application totally right. I would either feel like I looked streaky or unnatural. So, after reading glowing reviews about this brush for quite a while, I picked one up on sale at Ulta for around $9. This brush gives a perfect light, even application of bronzer. The size is perfect, it is sooo soft, and dense, but not too dense. Love!

Misc Beauty Tools -Revlon - Precision Lash Adhesive
dlbd2k06 8/17/2012 5:30:00 PM
I love this. I had previously used Duo eyelash glue, which I always liked okay. Then I ended up buying this one when the store was out of Duo. I love the applicator. The brush makes it super easy to get a thin, even layer of glue. With the tube, this is sometimes tricky. I also find that it keeps my lashes on better. With Duo, I would occasionally have some 'lifting' if I was wearing my lashes longer than 7 or 8 hours. I haven't had this problem with the Revlon. This glue dries faster too, so the wait time for it to get tacky in order to apply is shorter. Definate rebuy!

Makeup Brushes -Sigma - F82 Round Top Synthetic Kabuki
dlbd2k06 7/2/2012 3:17:00 PM
I am so in love with this brush right now! I use powder foundation the majority of the time. Some brushes either pick up too much product and apply too heavily. Others don't blend enough and it looks like the powder is sitting on top of my skin. This brush is perfect. It picks up enough for a flawless looking finish without looking at all heavy or cakey. It has really soft bristles and has not shed at all so far. The price on this was pretty reasonable too. I think I will buy another for backup since I love this brush so much!

Lip Liners -Clinique - Quickliner for lips
dlbd2k06 3/14/2012 4:10:00 PM
I buy this over and over again in the color Soft Rose. I usually try to wait until there is a Clinique GWP and buy two of these, so I always have backups. The color, for me, is almost identical to my lip color. I like to use this for a base. I also like it under lipgloss, to make them a little bit pinker, if they are really sheer. I mostly buy this because it doesn't need sharpening, I hate carrying a sharpener because they can be so messy. The only drawback is that sometimes when it gets close to being used up, it breaks. I have had that happen a couple times. But this lasts a pretty long time for me, with daily use. Will continue to rebuy.

Blush -Milani - Baked Blush - Rose D'Oro
dlbd2k06 3/14/2012 4:04:00 PM
I finally found these at Walgreens. I wanted to try them based on all the positive reviews. I ended up getting four of them. The packaging is pretty sturdy. I threw out the brush it came with, but I always do that. The product itself is really nice, it looks much more glittery in the pan than on skin. It is shimmery on, but definately not over the top at all. Of the colors I got this is my least favorite, because it pulls really warm on me, it looks more pink in the pan. Great product overall, will buy more of these.

Makeup Brushes -Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman - Blush Brush
dlbd2k06 3/13/2012 6:12:00 PM
Great blush brush. I have been pretty loyal to MAC brushes for years, but I am loving the RT brushes right now. I bought the stippling brush, powder brush, and blush brush. I have been using all 3 daily since I got them, even over my MAC brushes. The best part is they are super affordable, like $10 each. The blush brush is really big compared to most blush brushes, but once I got used to it, I loved it. It gives a natural diffused flush. I haven't had any shedding issues at all with it. Love!
