Eye Shadow -Ulta - Sable

This is a very neutral brown shade, completely matte. There are lots of similar shades out there but most of them have frost and I prefer shadow without it for daytime. The color seems slightly darker/cooler than the featured pic on this review. This color has high-color payoff on my fair skin and always lasts all day on my oily eyelids but I do usually use primer. This color is very flattering on blue eyes. I reach for this most every day and will repurchase when I run out.

Lip Treatments -The Body Shop - Aloe Lip Treatment

My product is called Aloe Lip Care. It's in a similar tube as what is in the picture but the label is slightly different. I love this! very moisturizing and also looks great as a clear lip balm. Very little taste or scent and can be used over lipstick without disturbing the color at all. Lasts for hours.

Powder -Maybelline - PureStay Powder Foundation

I have been using this for years and hope it is never discontinued! I always stray from it to try a new liquid or powder foundation but nothing measures up to this. My skin is combination,blotchy, sensitive and I am very fair. This maybelline powder foundation evens out my skin tone and lasts almost all day. never breaks me out or irritates my skin in any way. I always get compliments on my nice skin when I use this. The color match is perfect for me. You can usually get it BOGO 50% off at most drugstores

Conditioner -Avalon Organics Botanicals - lavender conditoner

I am really amazed at all the bad reviews for this conditioner. I first bought a sample size at whole foods and loved it so I bought the regular size bottle. Mu hair is very thin and the ends are damaged from color. Gets very frizzy in humid weather. This conditioner is very thick but does not weigh down my hair, makes it shiny and looks healthy. Helps a little bit with frizz but still need to use some sort of product afterwards. The scent goes away so it doesn't bother me.

Lipstick -MAC - Plum Dandy (frost-from Pop Mode)

I keep buying this lipstick over and over. It is extremely flattering on me, I'm very pale and cool-toned but I think it would work on a lot of complexions. Lasts a long time. Subtle but not nude. Plum Dandy is a frost but not overly-frosted.

Top/Base Coats -Sally Hansen - Triple Strong

I have been impressed with other Sally Hansen products in the past and I thought this looked promising. I put it on my clean bare nails (no lotion or anything) and let it dry and went to bed. Took a shower the next morning and it started peeling off. Throughout the day almost all of the polish peeled off. Can't tell you if it strengthened my nails at all because it was on such a short time.

Shampoo -Shi Kai - Color Reflect Platinum

This shampoo is very gentle and not drying like other shampoos that help with brassiness. Seems to help my highlights look a little better. Smells good too. The only bad thing is that it is a little too gentle to remove a lot of styling products with silicones but that is true for any gentle, sulfate-free shampoo.

Hair Color -L'Oreal - Hi-Light Styliste

I bought this kit before reading the reviews on here. I was afraid to use this once I did read them, especially since I purchased the golden honey color and usually try for platinum highlights. I figured it was worth a try anyway because I was just putting in a couple highlights and was hoping the golden honey would not be as damaging as bleaching to a white-blonde shade. This was very easy to use, no need for foils or a cap because the mixture really does not bleed onto other strands. I left this on only 30 min and usually have to leave other products on an hour. When I dried my hair, the highlights are very subtle and golden, but not at all brassy. No weird streaks or blotches in my hair. My hair does not seem very damaged from this. I was pleasantly surprised with this product and will use it again.

Shampoo -Redken - Hair Cleansing Cream

This is a wonderful clarifying shampoo. Seems very gentle compared to other clarifiers and does not strip color. Also smells wonderful. The price is a little high but you only use this once a week or every other week so the bottle will last forever.

Mascara -Revlon - Double Twist Waterproof

This mascara is awful. The brush really does not work well. The mascara goes on in clumps that are hard to comb out. Once you manage to comb your lashes enought to look presentable, the mascara will flake off on your face all day long!

This lipstick is great. Moisturizing and the color is very lasting. The color is very subtle and natural, a little frosty. Might be a little too cool for anyone with a very warm skintone.

Lipstick -Revlon - ColorStay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick

This lipstick is so drying!!!! I bought it in lconic iris which is a lovely color and I wish it had worked for me. This is the most uncomfortable lipstick I have ever tried. Immediately felt my lips tightening and cracking. Tried to put lip balm over it and it didn't help. Washed it off and put balm on....lips still felt horrible. Now it is 24 hours later and I have been constantly reapplying lip balm and gloss and my lips still feel dry! The packaging is nice but that is all. Waste of $10.

Hair -Beauty Without Cruelty - Revitalizing Leave In Conditioner

This is the best leave in conditioner I have tried. My hair is very thin but damaged by hair-coloring. I have tried a lot of leave ins and different types of serums and nothing works as well as this. Does not weigh down my hair AT ALL and doesn't build up. There are no cones in this to build up and it still prevents frizz and really makes my hair look healthier and shinier. I use a very small amount on my shoulder length hair so the bottle should last a long time. Also, of course, I love that this company does not test on animals or use animal products.

Styling Products -TRESemme - Instant Heat Tamer Spray

Very cheap, very effective heat protectant. I blow dry every day and straight iron a few times a week, this seems to really help prevent heat damage and I find that it helps with frizz too.

Lipstick -MAC - Frost - Delish [DISCONTINUED]

This lipstick looks like my perfect dream lipstick color in the tube....but just does not work on my very pigmented lips. It's a lovely pale pink-peach frost and I wish it worked for me. I am very pale and just looked very washed out with this. I think it would look great on someone who can make the pale lips, smoky eyes look work.
