Bronzers -Rimmel - Natural Bronzer- 21 Sun Light
rated 5 of 5

This bronzer is awesome for women with fair skin tones. It looks very natural, and not at all orangey. My other favorite is NYC sunny, which I use as a contour powder. I like this even better because it can be used for countouring purposes, or to sweep all over for a more tan look. It's really hard to overdo it with this product.

Liquid -Revlon - PhotoReady Makeup
rated 4 of 5

After hearing so many people rave about this foundation, I had to have it. I'm shade 002, vanilla. I was previously using Tarte smooth operator foundation which retails for almost $40. I'm definately going to stick with Photoready or try CS now. I really like this foundation. It gives you a nice dewey finish, and a slight sheen. The coverage is a bit sheer, but buildable. Normally I like a matte finish, so next time I might try Revlon CS, but Photoready is a great option too especially if you like to have a nice glow to your skin.

Mascara -Elizabeth Arden - Ceramide Lash Extending Treatment Mascara
rated 4 of 5

I'm a big fan of this mascara. It's perfect for day time looks. It definately doesn't give the volume and drama that other mascaras provide, but it defines and lengthens. It never clumps, and leaves lashes feeling very soft. I'm not sure the ceramides provide any significant benefit, but I definately can't complain about the performance of this mascara.

Mascara -Maybelline - Define A Lash Volume Mascara
rated 2 of 5
diorshowgirl 2/21/2010 5:17:00 PM

I was excited when Maybelline's define a lash mascara came out because I was looking for an affordable day time mascara that seperated and lengthened my lashes, but didn't add an excessive amount of volume. I was really disappointed by this. It barely lengthened, and the latex-like brush is difficult to work with because it just seems to flop around. It's way to flexible to define the lashes. I would not recommend this at all. Drug store mascaras that are better are L'oreal's voluminous mascara, Cover Girl lash blash, and Maybelline XXL.

Eye Primer -Too Faced - Shadow Insurance, Anti-Crease Eye Shadow Primer
rated 4 of 5
diorshowgirl 2/21/2010 5:09:00 PM

I just purchased this product from ulta a few days ago because I was in desperate need of a good primer. I've tried urban decay's primer potion, and I am a fan, but didn't want to spend $20 on it since the packaging is so terrible. I've only worn it for the past two days under my eye makeup and so far so good. I liked the consistency. I read some other reviews that said the product was seperating, but I didn't experience that. It dries to a matte finish and gives eyeshadow something to stick to. At the end of the day my eyeshadow is usually fading on me, but not when I applied this beforehand. It's definately a life saver. It also made my eyeshadows look even more pigmented. I'd definately buy this again!

Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Mascara
rated 1 of 5
diorshowgirl 2/17/2010 12:37:00 AM

One of the worst mascaras I've ever tried and I've pretty much tried them all. My mom has been buying it for years and I can't convince her to switch to something else. It clumps, and doesn't lengthen at all. It made my thick lashes look very thin because they just ended up sticking together. For drug store mascaras I'd recommend maybelline xxl, covergirl lashblast, or loreal voluminous over this anyday.

Eye Makeup Remover -Estee Lauder - Gentle Eye Makeup Remover
rated 1 of 5

As a huge estee lauder fan, I was very very disappointed in this eye makeup remover. I got it in a huge set I got at macy's, and I ran out of my lancome bi-facial a few days ago and started using this. It stung a tiny bit when I used it, but even worse than that my eyelids became dry and flaky. I actually attributed it to a new eye moisturizer, but as soon as I stopped using this remover, the flakiness stopped. I'm definately switching back to either l'oreal eye makeup remover or lancome bi-facial. Both are far superior.

Mascara -Christian Dior - Diorshow Mascara
rated 5 of 5
diorshowgirl 1/6/2010 10:37:00 PM

I've been using diorshow for about two or three years now, and I will never go back to anything else, except occasionally lancome definicils and givenchy pinpoint mascara! It's incredibly volumizing, lengthening, and it's the blackest shade of black i've ever seen! I'm not sure how well it curls lashes, because I have lashes that are naturally pretty curly, but I have no complaints about this mascara. I'm pretty much obsessed!

Palettes -Smashbox - Wish for the Perfect Palette
rated 4 of 5
diorshowgirl 1/5/2010 9:45:00 PM

This palette is such a great value. So much better than the sephora blockbusters. There are a ton of eyeshadows, some more pigmented than others, lip glosses, cream eyeliners, brow tech wax, brow tech powder, blushes, bronzer, and a highlighter. Love it. Pros- I think I payed around $60 for this, which is an amazing value! I love the cream eyeliners, most of the eye shadows, and the brow tech wax and powder is great. The blush also complements my pale skin. The bronzer is nice as well. Very subtle. Cons- The brushes are terrible. The lip glosses are mediocre, and some of the eyeshadows aren't pigmented enough. Overall, it's a great value for smashbox products. I personally like the packaging, and I use this palette everyday.

Palettes -Too Faced - Natural Eye Kit
rated 5 of 5
diorshowgirl 1/5/2010 9:22:00 PM

I absolutely love this too faced palette. I've tried all three natural eye looks, and I think they're all great. The one I use the most is the first look, I think it's the classic look? It's very subtle. The fashion look is also really beautiful for a more dramatic and sparkly look. I would definately buy this product again, but I might just go with buying all the shades in the classic look because that's the I use those shades multiple times a week. Some people complained about the packaging, but I love it, and it's bulkiness doesn't really bother me. My only complaint is the poor quality of the brushes that came with it, but that's pretty typical of most palettes.

Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion
rated 3 of 5
diorshowgirl 1/5/2010 8:53:00 PM

I've been using Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer for years, only because I always seem to get free samples of it in free gifts. I never actually purchase it. The packaging is nice, but the quality of the product is just OK. I have combination skin with some breakouts, and this product doesn't aggravate my breakouts, and it hydrates okay. I just wish I could find something a little more effective.

LOVE this mascara. Definately in my top five favorite mascaras. Not the most volumizing, but gives incredible length.
