Brows -Tarte - Amazonian Clay Waterproof Brow Mousse & Brow Brush
rated 5 of 5

Seriously produces a good natural look. And Ive tried Anastasia brow powder and brow wiz and sephora's dup of the wiz. Ive also tried drugstore revlon double ended pencil and gel and benefits brow kit. This although (in Medium Brown) produced the most believable color. Since I have a rather small face and very thin hard to grow brows, powders are not really a good choice for me as they are more suited for those with fuller brows. Pencil / auto pencil types have been the only ones I can really use but what a genious idea to make a mousse version! In consistency it is very similar to a gel eyeliner but with more of a dry moussey texture so you dont get to harsh a line. Although the pot is small, its still alot considering you only need one dip per eyebrow so it could easily last a year with everyday use. Price wise it was about $28 at Ulta and its a shame Sephora Stores dont carry it (only available online with Sephora) and the price is fair considering how much you get plus the included double ended spool and eyebrow brush. The jar is very sturdy and not cheap feeling at all, very cute on my vanity. The brush is not the best in the business but it gets the job done and I like the spool end for blending it all in the end. I opted for the sephora brand $16 premium angled brush instead for application because it gives a more controlled line as the brush is more fine but still nice and firm. Together I get flawless application and boy does it last last last! If your thinking to buy this I say you must! I believe I will continue to buy this over my older products for sure.

Makeup Brushes -Bobbi Brown - Ultra Fine Eye liner brush
rated 5 of 5

This brush is world's better then any other I've ever tried! To be honest I never would have tried it if my boyfriend had not offered my extra Christmas gifts inside sephora on Christmas eve. My brush was in its final throws od death and I did really need a new one but my boyfriend is a man of little patience so I had less then five minute to decided! Mega crunch time lol. But I remember one of my friends raving about this so I swiped it up and hoped for the best and I'm so glad I did! I've tried so many brushes from dior to mac and Sonia k and THIS beauty is by far the best eyeliner brush evet! Great for every eye look, tight lining, cat eye etc. AMAZING!! I You must buy, trust me you won't regret it! Wonderful for gel eyeliner!! The packaging is nice as the little plastic cap is saveable and the price is more then mac but less then the likes of ysl. Sturdy, good length and quality bristles. I forsee this outliving my previous in longevity. An outstanding buy!

Eyeliner -Bobbi Brown - Gel Eyeliner

This product is so great! Pros: Lasts all day long and into the next, jar is full of product and last forever, doesnt smudge or migrate under any circumstance, price is higher then normal but you will never use it all. Cons:Need a good oil cleanser to remove, the jar dries out after a few months with more then half left with everyday use seems like a waste I can never use it all in time! This stuff this honestly the best eyeliner I have ever tried. Great value with poor packaging, wish they would find a way to seal it better. Be sure when you use it to close the lid in between dips of the brush so that it wont dry out as fast. I find that method buys you an extra two months of use! Grade A stuff, if you havent tried it you must if you dont mind using a brush to apply.

Eyeliner -Make Up For Ever - Aqua Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil in Mat Black 0L
rated 4 of 5
diamondustt 11/1/2012 3:17:00 PM

As far as pencil eyeliners from Sephora go, this is priced on the cheaper end for sure. From all the pencil liners there this is the most longest lasting. Not as long lasting as say bobbi browns gel eyeliner but for a pencil this is fantastic. The only thing I dont like about it is it requires a lot of sharpening so it doesnt last quite so long but since the price is lower Im happy to repurchase. The consistency is not overly creamy but dry enough to get a good tight line and still smooth enough for an effortless thick cat eye. I highly recommend this one, lasts forever on your eyes with very minimal migration but invest in a good sharpener.

Eyeliner -Urban Decay - 24-7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Zero
rated 2 of 5
diamondustt 11/1/2012 3:07:00 PM

Pros: Nice dark black color, glides on quick with no drag, matte color, sharpens easily. Cons: Does not last at all maybe 4 hours max MAYBE before smudging and movement begins, creamy texture makes it a little to difficult to control since it is a pencil, for the price I expect it to last longer then 4 hour max on a good dry day. My recommendations: The best waterproof pencil that applies nicely is Make Up Forevers aqua eyes pencils. The formulation is a bit dryer so its easier to control and get clean lines. MUFEer's doesnt smudge and holds up true all day long AND it costs 4-10$ less depending on where you buy it. Also since the texture of MUFEer's is drier it is easier to control and get either fine tight lines or thick cat eyes. I really suggest that on over Urban Decays. Such a flop but Im using it up on day I dont care. Im glad I got it for free from Sephora.

Crème -Laura Mercier - Crème Smooth Foundation
rated 5 of 5
diamondustt 11/1/2012 2:51:00 PM

This is honestly one of the best products ever for me right now. I use a 10% glycolic acid toner twice a day right now and my skin is so insanely dry! This foundation doesnt leave me oily or greasy and still leaves me with a natural skin finish that isnt overly glowy or shiny. My boyfriend actually said from all my foundations (and trust me I have tried them all) this one looked like my own skin. On top of that the coverage for me is layer-able to a EL double ware coverage almost. Its absolutely fantastic! I hope they never stop making this! It also contains no parabens or skin irritating oils and is so long lasting. It also doesnt crease up in the small tiny lines under my eyes or in my Asian eyelids (with UD primer potion). It also comes in 12 very forgiving shades which is an awesome selection compared to most full coverage foundations. Although it can be difficult to spread and blend so be sure to moisturize well and apply a primer. It comes in a lovely frosted jar but really this will last so long I worry it might dry out before I finish it like my bobbi brown gel eyeliner. Either way you will not be disappointed with this one! BUY BUY BUY! (PS it is pricey but a little goes a long way and that is a understatement!)

Cleansers -Burt's Bees - Radiance Facial Cleanser
rated 5 of 5
diamondustt 9/12/2012 12:53:00 AM

LOVEA LOVE LOVE THIS STUFF, let me count the ways: 1. Nice hygenic pump, one pump is enoughfor my face and neck 2. Nice size bottle lasts some time 3. Very gental on my sensitive acne prone skin, most all cleansers break me out 4. Paraben free and over 97% natural 5. Non-drying 6. Light frangrance that sometimes cannot even be detected 7. Priced at $10-$13 depending on where you buy it. Expensive for a Drug store cleanser but a freaking STEAL for a department one! 8. Lots of skin friendly ingredients!

Powder -Bobbi Brown - Skin Foundation Mineral Makeup SPF 15
rated 3 of 5
diamondustt 9/12/2012 12:33:00 AM

Hmmm where to start...I'll just list everything I think about this product LOL: 1. The packaging leaves much to be disired, it is definitly not portable at all and theres no nice inner slidding cover like LM's loose mineral foundation to prevent explosions when you open it. 2. So very few shades, shame shame shame! 3. Coverage can be sheer but built up to mediocre medium. This can be good for some but a big down side to others looking to hid those imperfections. 4. Price wise, $38 for less then 1/4th an ounce and its not even that concentrated so its a bit of a rip off if you ask me. I dont see this lasting long with daily use. 5. Natural would be a good description of its finish, definitly not luminous or matte. 6. Blends nicely and plays well with most primers without clinging to dry patches or darkening over spots you may have moisturized to well.

Powder -Bobbi Brown - Illuminating Finish Powder Compact Foundation SPF 12
rated 3 of 5
diamondustt 9/12/2012 12:27:00 AM

Honestly this is not a foundation. It is an over glorified pressed powder. The amount you need to put on your face to get even light coverage is to much for $44 for less then half of an ounce. Its severly over priced. It would be nice to use though as a finishing powder but even then the effect is not really illuminating I would say. In all I would say this is really just a very basic pressed powder. For shame bobbi~

Polishes -Revlon - Colorstay Longwear Nail Enamel
rated 5 of 5
diamondustt 8/30/2012 9:36:00 AM

I find that this one lasts longer then my OPI and my ESSIE polishes by far and I do not use the recommened base and top coat (I only buff my nails first and after follow with a quick dry top coat of a different brand). I find it lasts me about a week with very minimal chipping and I type every day at work almost all day. Also, the newer bottles have the new brush which is nice and flat and wide. One coat covers well and the second really gets that 100% coverage. I really have no complaints with this polish although it dries pretty fast on its own so work fast. The price is in line with OPI and Essie and I think the quality matches so no complaint there. If you want cheap polish then get cheap polish but know it will not last.

Lip Treatments -Burt's Bees - Tinted Lip Balm - Tiger Lily
rated 5 of 5
diamondustt 8/30/2012 9:29:00 AM

For what it is, a TINTED lip balm, its very nice. You shouldnt be expecting over the top color pay off with this type of product. It leaves a nice peachy caramelly shine thats leaves the lips soft. Much better price point then LM's at sephora or the comparable FRESH sugar tinted balms (honey). Both of those are $20+ so in comparison its not badly priced at all for what you get. Its the perfect on the go neutral shade for yellow/warm toned people with out an overly obvious and extreme shine like some leave behind which can be to much sometimes. This is very nice and natural and as long as they make it, Il buy it!

BB Cream -Maybelline - Dream Fresh 8-in-1 BB Cream
rated 3 of 5
diamondustt 7/25/2012 2:45:00 PM

I wanted to like this...so very badly. But, I ended up returning it in the end. Many people give this great reviews but for me its a no go. The price is definitely right on this one and I wouldn't mind paying it as I usually spend MUCH more on my tinted moisturizers and BB creams. But as I say that, this is NOT A TRUE BB CREAM! Original BB creams from Asia are slightly more pigmented and contain ingredients to both sooth and protect skin and undo damage/get rid of marks or redness. After reading the ingredients on this, there is no ingredients in there that do anything other then slighting cover flaws and act as a moisturizer and a SPF. This is truly a tinted moisturizer and not a BB I believe but I digress. Back to the subject, as it did provide a nice natural amount of coverage (slightly higher then drugstore tinted moisturizers but on the same level with department store types), at first it gave me the perfect dewy finish. But with in the hour my face became a veritable oil slick. It was terrible, even with powder it slicked up in the same amount of time and even with powder reapplication it slicked up again with in 20 minutes and my skin isn't even other then my T-zone. I think this would work fantastic for dry skin types or normal skin without an oily T-zone but for me it was horrendous. Also the color did not play well with my tanned Asian skin (Medium deep is a very dark color but I would get away with using Medium) as it was to pink/cool based. This also transferred all over the place and creased terribly around my eyes (Although I am sure an eye primer would fix that) but I can see for other reasons why people would love it, unfortunately I am not one of them.

Liquid -Urban Decay - Naked Skin
rated 5 of 5
diamondustt 7/25/2012 2:33:00 PM

Great foundation. Truly medium BUILD-ABLE coverage. One coat is a perfect medium coverage, two full. You can, like the Urban Decay website states, use it as concealer too (I wouldn't for under the eyes yet). Using a patting/dabbing with your finger with just a bit over an old acne mark will cover it right up if you do this after you put the foundation on over your whole face. But also you can most likely sheer this foundation out as well buy using their Good Karma brush they just came out with. I personally like to use my fingers for application and this formula is definitely finger friendly as it does not cake up. Fantastic foundation but wish it had more colors. There is a major color jump from 7.0 to 8.0. 8.0 is far to dark for me and to golden and 7.0 is just a tad light but still usable (actually this will be to dark to once my tan is gone and my winter skin comes back). Great staying power as well and a transfer resistant and long wearing I believe. I tried rubbing it off with a tissue then went to eat lunch and came back and realized it was all still there! The full number colors (4.0, 5.0, 6.0 etc..) are all warm colors for yellowy skin and the half step numbers (4.5, 5.5, 6.5 etc..) are for cool toned skin. The price is currently $38 on sephora.com and Urban Decays website, not to bad as foundations range there (the quality ones I would actually use anyway) from $30-45 so I'm content to pay. The pump packaging is super hygienic but do remember to shake first as you would with MUFE's HD foundation. The finish is truly a demi-matte, not overly dried out matte and definitely not a dewy finish. My suggestion, try it as you will most likely buy it. Enjoy! PS: Here is the website to help you find your color match, here you can find the shade in the foundation your using now and see the Naked foundation equal, also like MUFE they have a model for each color of their foundation so if your buying online these visuals will really help you!! http://www.urbandecay.com/on/demandware.store/Sites-UrbanDecay-Site/default/Finder-Show#/Finder/Find%20Your%20Shade/1

Loose Powders -Meow Cosmetics - Top Cat Finish Setting Powder
rated 5 of 5
diamondustt 7/6/2012 1:00:00 AM

I would buy this again!...and again and again and again! hahaha! This stuff works better then any other finishing powder I have ever used! Better then the silica based types and the talc based types and doesnt break me out like the rice or starch based types. Controls my oil on my T zone like a charm and much longer then the rest! I cant feel it on at all unlike kaolin based type finishing powders that leave a waxy heavy feeling. This stuff is so great, it also gives a slight soft focus effect similar to urban decay's razor sharp or make up forever's silica based HD finishing powder. Its a steal at 16$ as well compaired to the other two! Also doesnt dry out the dry skin on my cheeks. Two words : LOVE IT! And the packaging is perfect, the sifter lets just enough threw when i tap it twice into the cap. Thanks Meow, never stop making this gem or I'll die a lonely oily dry life!

That is a bottle and a half of smashbox! Last forever because they give you so much! LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS BEAUTY STEAL!! LET EVERYONE KNOW!! Save your pennies for good quality foundation! The only thing I wish is if it came in a pump bottle but geez for 6$ I cannot complain really..although I do feel embarrassed buying it at the store hahaha~
