Mascara -Giorgio Armani - Eyes to Kill - Excess Mascara
rated 3 of 5

I wanted to try this out because I absolutely loved the regular eyes to kill mascara. This one I wasnt that impressed with. I feel its a bit too wet/liquidy than the regular eyes to kill mascara. I also dont like the brush. I really prefer standard shaped mascara brushes as they work the best for me but this one kinda looks a bit like an hourglass shape which kind of confuses me as to how best to use it. I mean I just brush the mascara on like normal but the brush in this formula is not as good as in the original eyes to kill. If you need to buy an Armani mascara go for the original eyes to kill

Eye Makeup Remover -Equate - Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover
rated 5 of 5
denise8593 4/6/2010 10:36:00 PM

I decided to give this a try because the price was right and it was that two layer style type of eye makeup remover. I have found that the two layer types of remover work the best and this one definitely delivered. I have tried lumene which is great, neutrogena which is great, bifacil which is great but Ive realized all of them are like the same thing with that two layer liquid action going on. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an eye makeup remover that removes all traces of makeup really quickly....and because the price is right I can then spend more money in Sephora on makeup :)

Treatments -Avon - Anew Alternative Intensive Age Treatment SPF 25 Day [DISCONTINUED]
rated 4 of 5
denise8593 3/23/2010 11:38:00 PM

I have been using this product for a couple of months. I like it alot as it moisturizes my skin nicely. (Ive been using retin a for a couple of weeks and I believe this moisturizer is the reason I havent gotten any flakies) I like that its an spf of 25 which is higher than alot of moisturizers out there (the staple seems to be 15). There is only one con to this product hence the reason for the 4 lippies. It does leave my skin shiny/slightly greasy but I live in Florida and during the bulk of the year you cant get around walking around not getting shiny because of the heat. I love the pump style bottle it comes in as it keeps all the ingredients stable. There is fragrance in this moisturizer but to me it smells nice. This did get a very good review on paulas website. I am just bummed they discontinued this item. You can still find this stuff on ebay as I got a backup bottle from there.

Treatments -Avon - Liiv Botanicals Vitalizing Face Serum
rated 5 of 5
denise8593 3/23/2010 11:31:00 PM

I have been using this now for a couple of months. On Paulas website this got a Paulas Pick as far as serums go and because the price is cheap I figured why not give it a whirl. I got it off of ebay, two bottles for twenty dollars...(gotta love those Avon sales) Overall I like this serum. I basically think of serums as food for the skin. There is no serum out there that is going to give you the same results as plastic surgery, laser resurfacing, botox, derma fillers, etc. It just aint happening ladies. But I digress, anyways I really like this serum. It absorbs nicely in my skin and doesnt leave any shine or slip agents. I have combination/oily skin and this doesnt aggravate it or anything. I figure for the price you cant go wrong because on Paulas website almost all of her serums that are a paulas pick range anywhere from 55 bucks to 200+bucks and I just cant see spending that kind of money on a product that is not going to give me the same results as laser resurfacing. I would rather save the money in buying high dollar beauty products and then in 4-6 years use that savings to get laser resurfacing. If you are in the market for a decent serum with a nice selection of food for your skin with an even nicer price this is it. Only thing I wish they would change is the clear jar but hey you cant have everything right.

Shampoo -Wen by Chaz Dean - Cleansing Conditioners - All
rated 3 of 5
denise8593 8/23/2009 5:43:00 PM

This review is for the lavender one. Ok let me first off give a bit of info about my hair. Its long (about up to bra strap) and lightly streaked blonde which I in turn use a special effects purple semi permanent hair dye to turn my hair a blackish purple. Anyways I bought this shit hoping that I finally found something to help make the purple last longer. Well unfortunately Ive come to the realization that there is nothing out there that will do that cause this didnt cut it. Now I will say in using it my hair was shiny and soft but with my type of hair that made it look FLAT FLAT FLAT. I love to get the big porn star curl look to my hair and I would curl it....and it would look great for five minutes then all the curl would fall away and I am left with a marcia brady looking hairstyle which sucks especially on me. I think this product would do wonders for curly hair or coarse thick hair but for my regular old medium slight wavy gets frizzy hair it was a bust since it couldnt hold my style. It does get your hair clean but I wont be repurchasing this since it cant keep the curl as well as being crazy insane expensive...Oh and just a tidbit of advice....you dont have to use the zillion pumps he says. I think for my hair I used 32 pumps and I didnt let the pump raise all the way to the top each time I pumped it.

Treatments (Eye) -Unlisted Brand - Latisse Lash Growth Drops
rated 5 of 5
denise8593 7/8/2009 2:32:00 PM

First off ladies let me tell you dont get suckered into buying Latisse when you can go to alldaychemist.com and get Lumigan which is the same thing for like 13 bucks a bottle. I just bought another two bottles and it cost me 50 bucks with shipping (they bang you on the shipping but its shipped express and I got mine in 7 days all the way from India) anyways let me just say this stuff works. I have been using for about 7 weeks and I notice a dramatic difference in my eyelashes and eyebrows. The only side effects I noticed on me was when I first started using it I would wake up with pink eye like crusties (but that has stopped) and my eyelid has darkened (which doesnt really bother me as now it looks like I am wearing a taupe eyeshadow) I use an eyeliner brush to apply and I use two drops for both eyelashes and eyelids. I want to see if one drop will cover all the areas so I can make it last longer. I bought 1000 hour eyelash dye and plan on dying my eyelashes here soon if I can find the time so that way I can go out without mascara. With one coat of mascara my eyelashes really pop. Buy this stuff ladies you will be lovin on it like I am.

Lip Liners -DuWop - Reverse Lipliner
rated 5 of 5
denise8593 5/17/2008 6:27:00 PM

First off let me give you my stats. Will be 39 this year and have been smoking since I came outta the womb...(well almost but you get the picture) Yes I have developed the lovely lip lines that us smokers have. This stuff is a miracle. No more bleeding of lipstick and lipgloss into the lovely smokers crevices. Me being the skeptic bought it thinking it was yet another beauty product that does absolutely nothing. I was blown away that finally some beauty company made a product that does what it claims. Girls buy this stuff especially you smokers out there...slather it on and you will see. Hope this review helps you gals...Denise

Mascara -Korres - Deep Colour Mascara in Blue Black
rated 4 of 5
denise8593 3/30/2008 12:29:00 PM

Tried this product at Sephora and absolutely loved. I would describe my lashes as just normal length, not very thick and I do have a couple of "sparse" sections. I didnt find anything wrong with the product no flakes or smudges or what not. What I really loved was how it really curled up my lashes without the aid of any curler or lash comb (remember I used the free brushes Sephora offers for the testing process of mascara). I felt the price was right considering other brands that I think are great are definitely higher priced. (Other products I bought and loved of late are Cargo Texaslash, Smashbox Bionic and I always buy Shu Umera Basic but as we all know Shu is outta control expensive (Makes Korres like maybeline in a price comparison know what Im saying.) I will say this though before you buy any high dollar mascara test that stuff out if at all possible. If they dont offer mascara brushes for testers you can get em for cheap by the bag in Sallys beauty supply. I carry a few in a little bag with me at all times in case there is none around to use. Hope this helps

Mascara -Fresh - Supernova
rated 1 of 5
denise8593 5/7/2007 3:32:00 PM

First off let me say I spend more money in mascara than I do on rent and try every single one out there. This stuff is horrible. You apply and it takes all your lashes and clumps into one triangular monolash, upon combing through you then wind up combing it all off. Dont buy. Best ones so far out there Ive tried are Shu Umera basic, Diorshow Unlimited, Clarins Wondercurl, Guerilins Lengthening and Curling, Lola Ultimate Mascara, Lancome Hypnose, Cargo Supereyes, Tarte Lights Camera Lashes (but doesnt last bottle dries up way quick so not sure if it justifies cost) Bourjois Volume Glamour. Hope this helps all of you mascara mavens.
